Boosting funds and experience for the whole summer

ty devs i was gonna say i was pre demotivated to start playing since all i earn in a week is like 20k with regualr funds, and with all the new augmets and drone it will take me atleast 10 years if i ever want to try out all drones at max level.

 

finaly the ftp players can catch up because for 6mins all i earn right now is 150-300 crystals per battle 

 

for the ppl complaining, half of them waste all thier crystals on drugs and dont know how to drug, drugging like monkeys in battle without turning thier turret and also on speed ups on microupgrades while i dont waste drugs and wait for my micro upgrades they waste it on pakour with thier dumb clan wars so no i dont feel sorry for them or the legends with thier alts accounts.

 

you can easily earn 1.5mil by the time your legend without preimium all the pll that are complaining are just bad at manging thier crystals , and with that 1.5mil you can easily max out 1 turret and hull and and 3 protection modules which even i dont have 

 

the game should be rewarding the legends like myself who have been playing for 8 years and i still have some stuff at MK1.. so thanks now i can earn 40k per lengnd rank up faster and thanks for the extra crystal 

 

i was just gonna do daily misions n leave since the crytals i was gettign was deprssing but thanks to this i cna play more and upgrade all my sutff faster 

 

i find it weird that someone can have better equipemt than me by playing 150 hours like mr thunder alt acc pump just through his premium and he has a higer GS and here i am with 1500 hours since 2015 and i started playing in 2012. 

 

so its about time you make this permanant x2 funds.

Though I can't say I didn't see this coming, I wasn't expecting it to be so drastic.

More importantly, I was really hoping the ratio of experience to crystals would be preserved! As we quickly unlock new equipment, it will now be harder to "keep up" with the expectations for equipment level of battles at our ranks.

 

Some "quick maths" tell me that:

Double crystals x 1/3 of the time spent in each rank = 2/3 of the previous amount of crystals earned each rank.

That looks like it will make it harder to get the equipment necessary to be successful at each successive rank.

 

That being said, I will reserve my judgement of the goodness/badness of the update until I actually see it in action. It's possible that the way this faster pace interacts with events and sales will offset the reduction in crystals earned per rank.

It's nice how you're forcing players to buy, especially in the low ranks, with these cheap tactics. First restricting supplies to the Shop, and now making F2Ps get lesser crystals and higher experience. 

Great policy- Arms race (Augments, Drones, Meta shifts) for the hardcore high-ranked buyers, and such tactics to welcome new buyers.

i really dont understand why ppl are complaining, getting x3 funds and x2 xp will be broken you saw how some ppl got over 2mil cry last week right no imagine them no lifeign for a couple weeks yea..

 

x3 xp and x2 is more balanced now you cna fially get to legend faster, meaning less time dienig to OP druggers/buyers 

without boosted xp it will take you years to get to legend so be happy 

 

also back in my day as in old tanki  i had to vs m3 equipemnt all the time while i was m1 it was that broken becuse of how far the ranks were spread out yall are acting like this is new well no it isint all the old FTP players have suffered this for me about 5 years until i fianlyl got mk3 and got a btter kd per battle 

 

no wonder my KD is so low 0.82 atleast now im getting a better KD above 1 

 

but lucky u espically if your FTP now you can get to legend faster which MEANS less time suffering dieing to buyers 

 

i dont know how that dosnt make sense 

 

otherwise be my guest and wait out this x3 event haha you will be the one suffering in the end beacuse no matter how long you wait buyers will always have better equipemnt  than you, your just dealying the ineveitable and wasting your time

Guess I'm taking a break from the game this summer, unless if the devs nerf the exp boost.

 

Honestly this setup should be for only legend ranked players while everyone else gets like maybe 1.5 crystals and 1.5 exp.

OR

Give us an option to turn off the boosts for ourselves.

The only one here that is "lucky" is you. You didn't have have to deal with players with high protections against you all the time, or with OP alts and drones. But us players who aren't legend ranked do.

 

Being in a battle full of legend ranked players is actually worse than being in a battle full of buyers considering if you're not a legend rank yourself.

 

And of course you like this update, you're a legend ranked player yourself, so you can play as much as you want and rank up fast, and it won't harm you.

I think it makes perfect sense to increase the fund boost. It's not fair that we rank up faster but can't actually buy the things we unlock. People don't realise this, but this game requires you to do a lot more buying. I don't only mean with real money, I also mean with crystals. As time passed, drones were introduced, augments were also introduced for turrets and hulls (and their price was increased), protections were separated from paints and more supplies began to be used and needed. All of this means that we have to spend more crystals and that's a reason for why the battle funds should be increased and I think they should stay increased forever!

I'm not happy because I'm not in a hurry to get to Legend (don't think I'll ever get there) and just want to get to Lieutenant General with enough crystals to buy and upgrade a Mk7 kit and the modules I already have to Mk8, and I earn most of my crystals from containers and missions instead of battle funds

(I have 2,433,352 crystals at the moment on this account if I include unused gold boxes and weekly containers, but have only earned 516,060 crystals)

I rarely play beyond completing daily missions, averaging 5,000 XP a week, so getting 15,000 XP a week is going to hurt my earnings, even though it means chewing through the 250,000 XP I need to get to Lieutenant General faster

I'm happy to get there slowly and with more crystals

2 months and half is too long. Will play the minimum and change any time consuming mission to as short as possible mission. And play if there is more special fund increase. 

Even for a new account the beginner pass is only 3 weeks. To break even you will need the premium (x5 exp and x5 crystals - )

To me, you've just said that it takes less time to reach Legend (the rank where the most OP druggers/buyers are), and we should be happy to reach it as soon as possible so the suffering can begin sooner.

Hmmm. I wonder what rank I'll be by the time this ends. I ranked up to Field Marshal a couple days ago.

I would've liked for there to be 3x crystals, or 2x experience. Just keep it even.

Actually I kinda changed my mind. I'll still play during this whole event, but it'll be on my first account. Killer2_the_best. And only because I think it's time to rank it up again, even though I stopped caring about it long ago.

If you buy premium pass , and play in matches to be like 1rst or 2nd , you can get like 1000 XP per match with 1500 crystals. Thats easy to rank up and afford the equipements.

How do I know ? ... Well

In the Tanki B.day map Kolhoz I ranked to captain and within just one day I reached Major. Also gained around 100k crystals. This allows you to easily buy kits and dominate in maps. So I think this is a really good idea. Atleast for XP grinders like me !

Note that was with 3x funds 2x experience.

Its now the other way round for the rest of the summer, meaning your ratio will be going backwards
