Boosting funds and experience for the whole summer

This has been said MANY times in this very topic, so a new thread about it is pointless. The event is indeed a double-edged sword — Legends get huge bonuses in the form of double funds and more frequent rank-up rewards, while lower ranks need to be more careful about their EXP/crystal ratio. If you believe that the event will put you at a significant disadvantage by the end of summer, then the option is to not play.

I can see three hunter here, looks like thi is the meta-hull at the moment.

Regardless of overdrives iv'e always preferred hunter/titan as my med/heavy hulls but your right hunter was used by a few players.

Some may have noted this already, in fact the first reply to the boost update in the topic noted this, but I just want to highlight the fact to the people who may have got the wrong impression about the update. This boost may save the grind, but you know what else it does? Handicap you in the game even further.

Gaining more experience with a progression system like this is in fact bad. The amount of currency you earn while doing this is what matters. Reaching a higher rank faster than earning crystals means that you will have less amount of crystals to expend at the time of your rank-up, meaning you will not be able to purchase as much equipment at higher ranks, requiring you to make more purchases to keep up.

If they were sincere about giving you a genuine boost, then as what the aforementioned post talked about, it would be the other way round; tripple funds and double the experience. Or if simply saving on the grind itself was the idea here, both would be boosted equally. The grind may be significantly decreased, but what they've done here is a clever way of ultimately making you needing to spend more money to keep up with the upgrade system as you rank up, while banking on the fact that you will fall for the idea of "you're just being given more stuff" for your efforts.

Need I remind you that the Mk upgrade update made everything overall significantly more expensive, as they removed the ability to skip upgrades at higher ranks even for kits? Yeah, you're not being given anything here, just the illusion of it.

This is a problem only for F2P players. Buyers can always buy more crystals.

My ratings last week  17 k ? >  14 k EXP.

this week the exact opposite  17 k EXP > 14 k ?  => crystals loss is ~6 k (~30%)

As anyone can see from my posts on here i'm more than a decent player and i enjoy the game very much.BUT on this matter i totally agree with deathisimminent the devs have done the low to mid ranks no favours by the increased xp and it begs the question was this intentional..I have to say it was because the devs are in no way stupid. I and a lot of players who post on here no the game needs a steady cash injection to keep it operational we are not naive to this, but at the same time i honestly believe the devs also have a obligation to uphold the FAIR & BALANCED game for players they say exists and is always at the forefront when bringing in new changes. What they are trying to do with this OTT xp increase is coax low to mid rank players into spending cash in the game to keep up with their lightening fast march through the ranks. The only rank this helps out is LEGEND and the big buyers brigade.Even i cannot keep up with this xp increase and that is why i have cut my game time down by a massive amount on the 2 accounts i am using. It is also unfair and quite callous of you (MAF) to say basically if you can't keep up then just quit until this has run its course. Yes we all know no one forces anyone to play/buy/are do anything else related to the game if they do not want to, but the majority of players buyers/non buyers do enjoy playing on a regular day to day basis and to put them in this situation where they either rank way to quickly and suffer the consequences at the next rank/ranks are to stop playing altogether are like me cut their game time down by a substantial amount is anything but FAIR & BALANCED. The vast majority of players support the game either by their commitment through lots of game time are by spending cash, are a combination of the two.are even by advertising the game on various social media outlets thus increasing the chances of even more players discovering a game i personally think is the best game i have played on (and i have played on dozens) and none come even close in my opinion.Give us a break devs and at the very least reverse the xp/cry ratio so it gives the low/mid rank players amongst us (most of whom do not have the cash) the chance to compete in a game we (the majority) enjoy very much and want to continue enjoying but find it increasingly difficult especially when the balance of the game decreases not only the enjoyment but the ability to compete at ranks above wo3 all the way through to the prized legend rank. More cry less xp for the duration, it's not a great deal to ask for and would show a lot of players that you do actually listen to our feedback and genuinely want the best for all players who play and support the game in their own way.

I hope that this huge boost in experience and battle funds is permanent. This will greatly increase the number of players playing Tanki Online and new players that are excited to create brand new accounts to play and rank up fast. Players that have never played Tanki Online, but heard of it will absolutely be encouraged to create new accounts to rank up much faster than usual.

I started a new account and am already so worried about the state of lower ranks. I am doing everything thing I can to boost my resources (playing decently well in battles, completing all missions, getting free stuff by watching ads, etc.) and after spending crystals on upgrading only a single combo, I'm left with a margin of just 3k crystals at Sergeant Major.

New players would obviously not be able to earn as much as I do, since they don't know how to fight back against the buyers and druggers that dominate battles. Also, new players often buy equipment randomly instead of saving and upgrading a single combo. With the current state of Tanki, I am pretty sure most new players are going to leave the game before reaching the Warrant Officer ranks.

I don't think so. The reason why developers boosted funds and experience is to encourage new players to rank up faster and enjoying earning crystals and buying stuff from the garage and shop with ease. Developers know what they are doing, so there is nothing wrong with how fast low rank players are levelling up. Players that never played Tanki Online would be confused but after a while they would become used to playing and understanding Tanki Online. I was confused and did not understand Tanki Online on the first year or less that I played. Now, I have been playing Tanki Online for 5 years and have great experience and understanding about the game.

In addition to that, I always watch V-Logs to stay up to date with exciting development news and other events before they happen. I have been watching V-Logs since episode 1, which was Tanki Online's first ever V-Log.

Yeah...no. New players won't be able  to 'buy things with ease'. This boost will make players rank up fast and while that could be encouraging, it's not great if you rank up too fast like how players are currently doing so. They won't be able to rake in many crystals so how will they be able to buy new equipment easily? New players won't have any experience with the game so they'll play and get used to the game but as soon as they begin to understand it, they're thrown into the higher ranks with buyers etc. They may earn crystals fast, but they'll earn EXP even faster. They won't be prepared in the high ranks. This obviously doesn't only affect new players. It affects mid rank players too. The only ranks it benefits is the Legend ranks as you know. You must think about the other ranks too!

They do, but you believe what they say they're doing, and not what's actually happening. The "boosted exp will be great and new players will love it" statement by the developers is just an illusion. Practically, it is a 33% fund decrease, or an 0.66x fund period, but speeded up three times.

In fact, had they just decreased funds to 2/3 of what they were, it would have been much better. Mainly resources are obtained from missions and challenges, while battle funds form a small portion of that. The 3x speed up means that mission and challenge rewards would be lower than required.

Stop being ignorant and look at the reality. We don't need anyone else repeating the same "logic" that developers are using to mislead people.

Players like him never see the big picture as they are so wrapped up in there own little bubble. If the devs said little green players from planet zonk gave them the idea about the extra xp riddle me silly would still give it a thumbs up and hang on every word the devs say, such is his limited thought process.

Just let him post his quotes. Like @Viking4s said, he's special in a way that he rather enjoys what's going on in the game rather than make suggestions to improve it.

But in terms of this topic, I can't wait for it to end.

I am not going to discuss the obvious inadequacy of this post ... it is so odd ... both stupid and naive at the same time )))

if we exclude the option of being drunk, the author has to be either a professional troll or some naive teen girl )))
