Probably a good solution to improve the 3x faster rank up is to create more low ranks so that players can stay at lower ranks a little longer and earning more crystals after each rank up.

The only good solution "to improve the 3x faster rank up" is to offer a Boosted Experience Pass (for many, many Tankoins) with this effect to buy for those who want to buy it (and thus can support the game with a significant financial contribution to get their undignified desire fulfilled), but certainly not force it on those who do not want it.

My current premium runs out today. I will not renew it until Tanki ends this horribly bad idea of making itself cheap and forcing this experience boost on all those players who do not want it.

Let me give my final word on this fund and experience boost experience. As you may already know, this boost of funds and experience is just an experiment to see whether more players turn up to play Tanki Online and also to reduce waiting times for matchmaking battles. The good news is that developers are being extremely generous of letting us players enjoy 3x experience and 2x funds. We will see how good or bad this experiment will turn up to be at the end. For now, let just play, experiment and give ideas, suggestions and feedback in this forum. We have the whole summer season for this experiment so its three months of great crystals and experience earning, which is great for high rank players.

Below, I have a suggestion on how to fix the problem with fast ranking up at low ranks, but I will give my suggestions for all ranks. The first three ranks will not have any experience or fund boosts to avoid problems with those low ranks. hope this helps:

This suggestion of mine makes more sense because each and every rank must have its score multiplier boost for both funds and experience. Funds and experience must both have the same amount of boost. The table above would help developers find a correct balance boost after this summer 2020 experiment has ended, so if there are plans to make this boost permanent, at least there is going to be a proper balance, which developers can fine tune so that no players of any rank would complain about.

I hope this never happen. I wouldn't want any forced xp boost before Marshal. higher ranks require more time and more xp to rank up which is good because equipment becomes more expensive with every upgrade. Not only turret & hull but also use of augments & protections modules creates a huge consumption for crystals that are not as easy to earn for most players with an exception of purchasing with real money which is like a cheat code(kills the fun for me). Once I reach Legend I will ditch that account and start a new one, so I don't want to rank up too fast again.

If they’re so generous why did they reduce the rewards of the tanki quiz by almost half saying it’d ruin the game economy? As if 3x experience  wouldn’t. And for the whole summer at that.

I just ranked up to Legend 32 with juggernaut.

It took me around 3 days to make a whole Legend rank, earning 200,000 XP. Thanks Tanki for the 3x experience boosts. I would suggest 10x experience boosts for Legends so that Legend players can rank up faster.

I think Tanki will be able to hang on for a couple more years. They have already trimmed much of the company fat,  The Latin servers are history.  The RU and EN server were combined a few years ago.  Tank-X died and was buried a couple of months ago.  I don't know about staff lay-offs, but my guess is that the company payroll is smaller today than it was last year and will continue to shrink as Tanki starts to feel the inevitable pressure of a slowly disintegration player base.

My one hope is that when they feel they have bled the cow almost dry, they will try reversing this MM fiasco and revert the game back to a more user friendly time when player numbers were 10X what they are now and the game kept consistently growing.

Tanki Online is growing and that's a good thing. That's what we all want to see. Using the test servers because an update gets released, such as Ares is a good thing to keep the game going as well as using your normal gaming account as usual for normal gameplay.

Look at the number of players - link - and note the small difference between the daily numbers and the mega-XP-boost weekend numbers (it should be higher)

Maybe I have a bad memory, but I think those numbers were a bit higher at the start of this year

I'm still hoping TO will last long enough for me to get to the rank where I want to spend most of my crystals (at 10 missions / week amount of playing), but I'm not sure it will

You couldn't have said it any better, my hopes are that one Alternativa goes under, they will sell the rights to both Tanki Online and Tanki X to a company who would further develop and maintain these games... (more likely TX) This is perhaps a bit too optimistic, but the concept behind tanki is extraordinarily unique, nothing comes close to its gameplay... nothing!
