Well, I did say that I almost felt bad. Perhaps I should amend my statement. I still think the majority of changes they've introduced to this game in the past five years or more have been a miserable failure, as I said earlier. But I also figure that not everyone on the dev team is responsible for the direction that Tanki has been taking.

I can attest to this - I get Aleksandrovsk, Barda, Brest, Bridges, Highways, Massacre, Osa, Wolfenstein, and Yorkshire very frequently, much to the point that I'm starting to hate them.

This happens because of lag and is a common occurrence. A system could be made where every match has a countdown timer and that nothing will start until players click that they are ready to go, but I doubt this will be of a high priority.

I'll admit that blowouts happen regularly, but I almost never join into an ongoing blowout. Sorry, but I can't agree with you there.

Similarly to the previous one, I can't relate (at least not too often) that this kind of thing happens often.

Agreed - coordinated groups should not be playing in the same matches as solo players as they will simply curb stomp the other team.

Sadly, this can happen quite a bit..maybe a reason to keep the players in the battle regardless of the outcome is better? (looking at you TX Ranked)

Ranked could quite literally eradicate this issue if it comes into existence. The mults will stay at lower leagues and hence not interrupt the gameplay of higher leagues, while the other players will take it seriously and put their heart into the fight.

Very true, I don't think the updates listed above are too bad. If the MK update and some of the above were released earlier, you wouldn't complain, but the game is already on the downward spiral with developers who don't really care or listen.

I wonder if they even read the forum, or if everything has to be relayed through moderators (at their discretion)

The developers are selfish.

I think the removal of mission completion from PRO battles was a really bad update. I remember playing for hours in Island and the developers have destroyed PRO battles.

Honestly, they have nerfed the game over time with their updates, making different segments of players upset over time.

Everyone will have a different opinion on which update ruined the game, ceteris paribus if the 'worst' update was implemented and everything else remained the same, I don't think there would be too many complaints, by this I say again, they have ruined the game over time with small tweaks.

Haha, we shouldn't be grateful to them in any way for merely updating their product, for that is what we appear to them, money.  If they stopped updating the game and fixing it completely, they would lose even more users and get many angry complainers.

I miss 2013 days of Tanki with the old graphics, tips when you enter the game, loading screen etc. That is when they cared.

Yep during battles you get the game pool on maps, its about 10 or so to be honest.

My question to you is, do you think Tanki can go back to the way it was before? Any hope left?

 

Another issue is no accountability for the developers, you are not allowed to suggest the reverting / changing of updates. 20 or so people in an office get to decide the experience for thousands of players, which is nonsensical.

No community poll to decide which updates get implemented or not, with reasoning to understand why from the players.

You may not get placed into half-way finished battles, but it happens to many players and is very annoying - spending the time waiting to get into a battle and it's basically over before you arrive.

Well what account?  When my alt account was Brigadier it had battles against Legends.  Not all the time - but often enough to be quite annoying.  I'm not joining battles to pad the scores of upper ranks.  It's challenging enough when you face buyers of your rank, or enemies 2-4 ranks above you.  6-8 ranks is just dumb.

Go back to what?   

MM is here to stay.  But they could fix it.  They've had plenty of time, but they don't seem interested in improving it.  They think the continuation of Challenges and special events will make up for it.  I think they are wrong.

OP please edit the third poll question to include the years dating back to 2009, as that was the year the game started. As I mentioned before, I'd vote for the year 2011 to being the best no question. The only problems I had back then with it were some hackers (rarely ever saw any even then though), a bit too many glitches and acting up in performance, mobile transaction price was a bit more extortionate compared to others and rank ratio was way too wid.

These days extortionate prices are sky high and decent in-game rewards require grinding, along with much more P2W mechanics, stale combat because match-making is encouraged above all else and loot box mechanics are abound.
