Basically a time waster if you don't want to rank up too fast in 3x funds. I was thinking if we could organize various battles with each other(0xp 0 funds, just for fun). If enough people are interested, I could maybe collect more info on time preference and gs and so on.

Drop any suggestion below.

All right, so 15 people are interested as of now. While that is enough for a single battle, the actual number we can put in battle will be less due to rank and time constraints.(it might be too less : ()

Rank limits: Select all that apply.eg If you have a WO3 account, captain account, and legend account, select the last 3 options

Time:If you are available from 7am UTC to 9am UTC, enter 7am in the first question regarding time(labeled starting time) and and 9am in the second question(labeled ending time).

Google can convert time to utc time. just search "9am in utc time" for example.

It doesn't matter. I will count only yes. I put no because I have to have a minimum of 2 options.

 I'd love to have battles with funds, that's it. But custom and private battles can't have funds... So I just joked that we'll have to find someone generous enough to drop golds... Just to make it more fun, and as a substitute for funds.

I have an idea though...

f2p players can get a gold in the 5th lvl of challenges. So, two players could duel on small maps like Duel, or Island, and the loser will drop gold for winner. Only issue is reaching lvl 5. XD

i once did hide and find with a friend. your easely looking for 15 min to find him haha 

maybe we should first see with how many players we can be. 8= 4vs4. 16=8vs8 but i think that there wont be that many players. then we should agree in what map and the time. and look how the ranks are distributed.

I think the majority of people on the Forum are Legends or a high enough rank to play with them. Of course, there are people here lower than Brigadier, so maybe there could be a second battle for lower ranks if there's enough people.

How hard or easy is it to find a pro battle in legend ranks? Would organized pro battles be helpful in those ranks?

Nice idea. I voted yes, but why 0 funds?

And Pro battles aren’t a waste of time. They’re the one of the most fun things I find about tanki, if there were only MM I would have left the game ever since.

And come on everyone knows pro battles are the better; the name says it all.          MM on the other hand is for putting together non-pros            (MM=Mult Matching)

Remember when it was just Pro Battles.  This was years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday.  No Match Making.  Nobody was over souping, except for a few individuals. And there was a lot more players during a match.  The only thing that made me cringe was how often the Vulcan and the Shaft were used during that time.  SO MANY!!  I don't remember whether the railgun was used as much as well, but I do remember that there were a lot more hornets paired up with it back then than now.  I also remember when there were no overdrives.  Yeah, they're cool and can give a team or an individual a temporary buff, but I really miss the good old days where the only sniper was the shaft, and there wasn't such thing as a Smoky shooting three rounds in a second.

By time waster, I didn't mean waste of time. I meant something to do while waiting for regular funds and xp to resume (hopefully).

And , sure, we could try funds. I said 0 funds coz I had private battles in mind(to balance gs and limit power abusing combos what not).

At peak times, there are a pretty good amount of PRO Battles at my rank (Field Marshal). I'm sure there are a lot of Legend-only PRO Battles though. Any Legend care to verify this claim?

My highest is only captain unfortunately.

I plan to collect info regarding ranks(including alt accounts) and time preference(via Google form or pm). Then, we can schedule 2 or 3 battles(with different timings and rank) and see how it goes. I'll edit the main post with updates when it becomes 24hrs old.

And the added requirements have to be this:

· Over drives disabled.

· Supplies disabled.

· Isida protection must be equipped.

· Mammoth alteration: heavyweight construction must be equipped.

· Isida alteration: support nanobots must be equipped.

· Battle must be a 1v1 format.

· Both players must perform the rain dance before starting the battle.

 

Now this will be an interesting battle.
