Most tankers have been regarding Match Making as a nuisance and quoted " MM doesn’t really fit into tanki though ". I speak for the players of tanki who have endured update after update but i would say Match Making was a set back in the progression of the game play. Match Making took away the freedoms of the player and made the choice on weather or not they wanted to go to a certain map.

Hence this made for maps Espenelde, Factory, Skyscrapers, Madness, Monte Carlo, Deathtrack, and others not available to the general player giving that you could only access them in Pro matches which makes for no fun because these rather large and sophisticated maps have no purpose for being played with 2 players. I would guess tanki thinks that Match Making saves players time and makes battles for fluently played. But the answer to that problem is not correct, in fact waiting for certain modes and battles has four folded in waiting . This means players are not playing more they are waiting and players who are new to the game prefer not to wait for a battle.

I would say if Match Making is not removed from the game this Flaw may very well have caused the death of the game ever since the implication of it. I was rather shocked that a game such as this allowed for such updates and did not allow for improvement or change to this, I would in fact like to Challenge Match Making not in by the complaints of myself but the overall choice of the player. I would say the appalling part of Match Making reminds me of a Dictatorship / Censorship of the Game players whim.

 

I would prose that tanki should take a proper poll on weather Match Making is liked by the players, giving that is succeeded to be ever made i would hope that this would reveave the Player/Payer's intention weather Match Making is meant for tanki. Also to add, I would like to see the old Self Preference map choice to be compared directly to Match Making as for allowing it to return to the game for 1 week or more and see if it would be choose.

This is more of a discussion but also, we do not accept ideas regarding implementation of an update that was once a part of the game. Please have a look at I&S Section Guidelines.
