Poetic Chat Episode 3

"WO Chat"

A poetic conversation between @ILiveOnTheChatBox123 and @F41TH.

Chatbox-Hi there and welcome back to another edition;

However, this poem is only for the ranks that really win.

In case you have not realized yet:

The Warrant Officer ranks are really well set.

F41TH- Nobody really realizes the pain,

Of how all this glory is left in vain.

Chatbox- There are many of Legends who think they are at the top;

But the real greatest are the ones who after WO stop.

Out of our crew that leaves @F41TH and me...

F41TH- Guess being a WO was our destiny.

Chatbox-That is my good friend I forgot to introduce.

Ha has joined our poetic chat after our latest truce.

Now it surely is about time;

Let us go see if you know how to rhyme.

F41TH-We have all the coffee and cake to flaunt,

Excluding the scary keeper who haunts."

Chatbox-Wait, that seems to be a pest;

How does it describe how Warrant Officers are the best?

Maybe you try it once more;

I am sure that you have plenty in store.

F41TH-Oh, the blissfulness of being here;

We get our own office and an air conditioner.

Chatbox- the Legends think they rule the game.

After all, a Legend means it has fame

But they don't even have a place to park.

They can just hope to hide their tanks in a tunnel that is dark.

For many years, newspaper reporters have gloated around.

Saying "We have our own 'newspaper office' somewhere around town."

However, we are not subject to the office of some admin.

As Officers, they are exclusively ours, to go celebrate a win.

F41TH- Oh, it is a win all right,

Unlike the Legends, we have offices that are bright!

They are comfortable with a table and chair,

The safety we have here is nowhere to compare.

Chatbox-Even Legends cannot simply roam to and fro.

They have to be careful about where they can go.

But all that stuff we can disregard.

We can march onto private property, and just wave the warrant card.

F41TH-when we wave our cards in the street,

Everybody comes out to greet.

With this card, we control our town,

Nevertheless, we never let anyone bow down.

We are all equal on these ranks,

Come join us with your mighty tanks!'

 

Chatbox- Also, we are the easiest to write.

Brigadier General seems to give you a fright.

However, Warrant Officers are easy to abbreviate.

Therefore, you can quickly type WO4, and you will not be late!

F41TH- The upper echelon think they're superior.

But one mistake in typing their name,

And it will all go in vain.

ChatBox and I are WO4,

The rank not all wish for.

Nevertheless, we both know that in WO's this is the best,

Why? Because it stands out from the rest.

All those who wish to apply,

Generally come here to save their supply.

First, you have the WO1,

They usually have the slowest guns. (except the annoying buyers)

Then comes WO2,

When you are confused with what to do.

Slowly but surely follows WO3,

When you start stinging like a bee.

Then comes WO4,

The rank we live for.

Finally comes WO5,

When you are satisfied and done with life.

For you had seen everything,

That these Warrants had to offer.

All the happiness, joy and fun,

Turns to memories when you look at your gun.

No, this was not for those who race past,

Nevertheless, for the ones who stay and last.

It is we old coots, who raise the standing,

We take our tanks and hold on our ranking.

Chatbox- While all the above things are undoubtedly correct;

We have another ranking that may not earn us too much respect.

Warrant Officers are the true kings of spam;

However, I don't mean the kind that is similar to ham.

It’s the time when the elite spamming blood flows through your veins.

When you have perfected your spam game throughout your lanes.

In the forum, you will find us wherever you go.

Without us, the forum would run too slow.

F41TH- When some of us go on a break,

There are many to quickly fill that place.

Even when our backs ache, We always try to aim for ace!

You'll find most of us on Forum Games,

Where we leave our tank to blame,

There we are just like old coots,

We criticize updates that TO likes to boot.

This is our own WO Chat,

Where we try to avoid all forms of combat.

If we ever want to settle score,

And want to go a bit hardcore,

Then we have "Wage a War",

 To settle the score once and for all.

The facts mentioned until now do not need to be proved.

Just look into, and you will see they cannot be moved.

All in all, it seems pretty clear;

WO4 is the best from everywhere!

Excellent poem! I really enjoyed the rhyming and conversational tone - you certainly nailed it here. I can't wait for another Poetic Chat and hope that i can be able to participate in it. This one was a bit long; maybe break the poems up into two if it's going to be this long. I had a good finger workout scrolling through, though, and it was a good read. Keep the chats coming!
