Hyperion uses a considerable amount of supplies not to mention the batteries you will need to get any good use out of it, i just wonder how many players will actually attempt any of those missions. These missions are so obviously designed to pull players in to buy stuff from TO. Close to impossible and meaningless missions for majority of players. Probably for the buyers who have 100K or more supplies of each type.

Most players have only Brutus and Lifeguard. I personally have only Brutus, Lifeguard, and Blaster, out of which I bought only Brutus coz it was cheap.

On top of that I don't have batteries.

 

There's a massive scope for improvement.

I agree. Many drones are not cheap, and neither are batteries. And if you want to get an ultra container(s), you have to buy a drone (if you don't have one already), PLUS enough batteries to destroy 1000 tanks. By that time, you either have NO crystals whatsoever, or you have spent money to get some. Very sneaky, salespeople.

I think this is a smart event. It certainly addresses not all players but the sub-set of "buyers" in particular, though this is no problem as it offers some fun for money without giving any disadvantage to players who do not want to spend money. Like skins and other non-functional stuff, which also addresses "buyers" without giving any disadvantage to "non-buyers". This is the way to go for Tanki, and not the dead road of Pay-to-Win.

All this said, however, I will not engage in this event, although as an advanced level legend and "buyer" I have the necessary drones decently upgraded as well as several thousand batteries in my garage. Because I am still largely boycotting MMS battles (as well as paying any money into this game) until this disgraceful experience boost nonsense is over. I would appreciate more such events in the future, then without experience boost.

Agree and disagree, everything that happens in TO is aimed at buyers with the F2P players a very very long way behind. They are a afterthought, and if by coincidence(chance) they kinda might benefit from anything the devs do, then the devs look at that as them doing the F2P players a huge favour in recognising their needs within the confines of the game, just as much as the buyers. So yeah, it's smart in so much as it will generate more cash from there small army of steady P2W players. The agree part of your post is that the xp boost is nonsense. All in all the devs up to their usual tricks again.

Destroy 1000 Tanks for 8 Ultras and a return of 150 batts used is a decent enough event. If you get lucky with the containers it could be profitable. Will have a go at a couple of missions if I get time.
