Presumably, this match-making system would also make it difficult to play on the same team as friends and clan-mates. Also, a clan raiding team could flood a battle, they'd possibly be entered into opposing teams, but the clanners in one team mult, while the clanners in the other team drugs for the win.

 

I'm just guessing here though, glad to see Tanki is working on this mult issue.

Actually, with the clan system, the clan members would be brought together as a team, so all members of Clan A would be on the same team, and playing against the players of Clan B on the other team. That's why this whole thing should help get rid of many instances of multing and sabotage.

I have a complaint about the advertising of 3rd party links rule, in that I can get banned for putting a link in Lobby chat for a poll I've made in game discussion.

 

If I want to compile a worthwhile poll I would like to get as many participants as possible. A way of doing this is by putting one link on each of the EN servers and some of the non-EN ones(2 links on a busy server).

 

As far as lobby chat users can see, it's literally one link every now and again. Also, as far as I can see there's usually a spike in participants on whatever poll I want to garner opinion for whenever I put a link up, so people do seem to have an interest in the polls.

 

How can a link to this forum be so bad that it's worthy of banning?whether it's a link to a topic I created or not. I don't see the problem of having a few thousand people looking at a forum topic and it may even bring a few new guys into the forum too. Not to mention the ambiguity of whether a link to the forum should even be considered third-party. TBH when I first started doing this, I looked at the rules and couldn't work out if it was allowed or not.

Hi, the issue was already discussed with this same player some time ago... As I told him previously, the problem is not to post a link or two on the chat, the issue emerged when he posted that link over 20 times in over 20 servers in a time span of 15 minutes.

 

, you were simply using your account as a vessel to advertise your own forum poll for which you were first warned, then consequently banned, after which you switched to your alt account to continue with the same thing. 

No one minds if you ask an opinion from others but to disrupt chat in that way and to use alt acc to forcibly push your own agenda is not only unreasonable and against the rules of this game but it's also not respectful nor fair to other players. In short - please do post your link but do it only once or twice and on one server only, as per game rules. Thank you.

So what are we gonna do about this? Super Flooders get banned for an hour or for a day. But how about just taking there privilege to talk away for longer or for permanent. Its not fair that people that actually want to have conversations can't because Spammers or ''super Flooders'' as I like to call them, keep ruin the chat. It takes over one minute to type a simple sentence. What I am typing now would take at least five minutes to post because of the flood metre going off because of these flooders. It always happens in EN3 or NE2. These Super Flooders should just get banned FOREVER, cause they keep misusing the chat. It may seem a but harsh to ban them forever just for flood, but this doesn't just happen once or twice on occasions. No, this happens at least several times every single day. And its at the point where people are just so frustrated they start reporting in the forum, the admins just ignore you and say ''Please do not report flood. This forum is reserved for more major offences. '' Tanki should make a place where you report flood. Or just ban these people for longer so they can't keep coming back the next day to flood. If you type a certain amount of letters in caps you get banned for flood. But these players have found a hack to bypass the flood ban. And its super annoying for everybody. Something obviously needs to be done about these flooders. They are ruining the game. And they don't get banned. If we report them the admins just say the same thing over, ''don't report flood''. And they always do this when mods are offline or in a different server. So while these violators break the rules and annoy pretty much everyone that likes to play Tanki. There punishment is... wait for it.... Yep you guessed it. NOTHING!! Why 7000 or 6000 crystals are for 7 or 6 euros? This is unfair and not worth, tbh. Make more crystals or make less price...

and if you want us to buy cry at least make them affordable for all players.

In previous Vlogs they have announced update. "The match-making mechanism which will ensure that the players in a battle are randomly chosen. This means that the team you are fighting against, CANNOT plant a mult or saboteur in your team, because nobody can choose which battle they join."

A. Paint are no longer needed at all, so don't even purchase them or think about doing it unless you have enough crystal income. And the price inflation still doesn't affect kit prices THAT much now ;) As for B, one word: Economy.

Actually you'll still be able to battle a friend. The matchmaking system won't be FORCED on players. You'll be able to choose whether to use it or not. Of course, if you choose NOT to use it, then you run the risk of being harassed by mults and saboteurs.

Let me clarify — this is how it is INTENDED to be right now. At this point in time, the developers envisage this system as being an optional one i.e. you can choose to use the matchmaking system, or to stay out of it. That said, lots of things might change over time, making this decision either obsolete or impractical.

 

Remember, this being an MMO game, it's environment is HUGELY dynamic. Tanki is shaped by its users' actions and behaviors at least as much as it is shaped by the choices of its developers.

 

So, right now, the plan is for the system to work as I explained below. But only time will tell what actually happens. That said, whatever happens, I assure you it will be done with the intention of finally killing off the plagues of multing and sabotage. And in case you're not aware of it, developers hate those two plagues with as much passion as any decent tanker does.

I had got hacked too, pretty recently to be honest..

I also reported it and got all my crystals back,so I think that tanki does their job fairly.

If someone hacked your account YOU GAVE THEM YOUR PASSWORD. Either that or you have a password like "password." I have never been hacked (not saying it is not possible) but my password is fairly complex.  Use upper and lower case letters, and numbers, and symbols. Pretty tough to crack then.

I am assuming you are talking about the gold box supply.

 

The gold box supply is not just crystals. In the right hands, it can win you a lot more than that. Not only can you gain a thousand crystals from it, but you can use it as a distraction. You can quickly deploy it to take the winning flag in a match, and win the game for your team. This is why.

Is there a type of hack which shows your MU as 0/50, even though it is not?

Is there a type of hack which does not show DP drug?

Is there a type of hack which makes your "shadow" spawns under another tank, if your shadow is inside it?

 

I think I have seen all of them.  :unsure: (Also players who use jump hack just for a type of "resistance" to fall down)

I shot one 0/50 Viking m3 with my M3+ shaft with power and it did not die(no DA)

I got shot by a railgunner which has no DP, but It took about 250-260 heal

The last one seems common

Tell the mods that they won't believe you. I have also seen all of those and more. I have seen a player spawn with all drugs on.  I have also had that experience of shooting and can't kill with 50/50 m4 smoky and 50/50 m4 thunder. They have these cheat engines that allow them to do whatever they want. If they would generate crystals tanki would fix that, and in a hurry. But cheat? Nah, it doesn't effect them so they don't care.

Fairly I don't think that way but...

 

The case is some hacks are almost impossible to prove with videos as they just works for a small moment and you don't always record battles, so I guess devs will at least have a look at those cases if we tell them so. However, I don't know if 2 players is enough.
