When I first started playing tanki online it was a great game that had little flaws. As time has gone on and updates have plagued a once amazing game, I am starting to become more and more discontent with this game. I was in a battle the other day and the entire game froze and booted me out, this has happened before but usually a simple page refresh will put me right back in the battle i was in. Not this time, as it took me back to the lobby, no reward for the battle i was in that was almost over, no XP for the battle, nothing. With the newest update, you apparently have to have a pro pass to create new battles and join most existing ones. This is what my current selection for battles is (http://imgur.com/a/a5zUf ). Notice how i only have one option for a non-pro battle? This is rather ridiculous to me, as I don't want to waste 4,800 crystals on a pass I have never needed until now. Now for a second, back to the issue with freezing games, lag has been an issue in abundance lately.

 

After attempts to change browsers and clear caches, I figured i'd give the new tanki download a shot. I downloaded the game and loaded it up. Only problem, this is more laggy than playing on a browser. Another issue is how much the game BEGS  you to spend money. I get that tanki is offering a service, and no service is entirely free. They have to make money somewhere and people buying crystals is part of the game, heck, i've even thrown on 20 bucks here and there. But recently, its the only way to play this game and have it even partially resemble what it once was. Double damage is almost a requirement after the update a few weeks ago, as most of the turrets damage was greatly reduced. Lowers ranks are more easily able to buy hulls/turrets i didnt have at their rank with the ability to buy kits in the shop now for money. (http://imgur.com/a/z9yFd). And if you think $60 is a lot for a tank, trust me, plenty of people are more than willing to pay it for an advantage while the average joe is trying to save their crystals and are stuck with m1/m2. Imagine being stuck in the middle ranks with m1 rail, m2 hornet, and a protection module, and you keep getting spawn killed by the other team because they were able to throw $100 bucks on the game and get all m3 and a seemingly unlimited amount of drugs. Rather discouraging, don't you think?

 

My point is, in the long run, this current system will drive away more players than it will bring them in. More people will refuse to spend money than will shell it out. I don't expect tanki to change much because of this tirade. just thought i'd throw my 2 cents out there.

What you've said here I exactly how I feel! Thunder's nerf was too much....I mean three shots to kill a WASP. Pathetic. Also, the smart supplies does nothing to stop druggers from drugging, it just preserves their drugs since they can easily use one and pick up another drug! I can drug often by just picking up boxes! Smart supplies has done nothing to slow down drugging. For buyers...to spend so much money just to get their kits is insane....desperate much? I was able to save up for the Voltage kit I bought with hard EARNED crystals! Last night was my 7th week in a row of chaining missions, so I got free supplies, but I haven't touched any yet and dont plan to unless i need them. And the developers idea to bring in the pro pass thing just angers me. I had to waste half of the battle fund earned from a 3 hour battle last night to buy a pass to keep playing. This was on my backup which im not even the rank to chat yet, but i got 1309 out of the 1916 battle fund and my beginners pass doubled that for me, earning me 2618 crystals, but then I had to buy a pro pass for 1270.

 

Thanks devs! Make me put all my hard work to waste from your lame ideas!

Well, Smart Cooldowns DO help a bit against non-druggers, but make all-out Legend Drug-wars less enjoyable.

 

Three Shots to kill a wasp is perfectly balanced. Two-shots and it would be OP. It reloads much faster now. 

and Thunder has a much bigger range than hammer, why give it the same damage?

 

I have played with Thunder and against thunder users, on the main servers and the test-servers. It was perfectly balanced.

I would like to complaine over your latest gimmik with non payers not being allowed to create battlemaps it is killing the game slowly but it will die. 

pro/vip will get a job off creating maps all the time and every map i full one can´t furfill the dayli tasks and end up in maps where one is killed every second

My grandfather used to say, "If it ain't broke, don't CENSORED with it."  Look Tanki Developers.  I really do appreciate what you have done in creating a MMO game.  I have been playing since 2014 with my very first account being Gunny_Bates.  It has been enjoyable and I have learned many different things through my additional accounts.  HOWEVER, your latest updates have tossed the proverbial monkey wrench into the machine and broke it.  

 

• The changes to Smoky were heart breaking.  I watched as my stealth M2 (M1 w/ 50/50mu) became weak in hand to hand fights and pathetic in long distances.  My K/D began to sink like the Titanic.
• Then the free Pro Pass week.  I know what this was.  Just like a drug dealer get the clients hooked then they will buy.  Only it didn't work out that way.  So, you added the caveat to have a Pro Pass to create a battle.  
• Reducing the pause or inactivity timer was bad too.  There are some networks that I tie into that are slow.  Lately causing me to be kicked out before I have a chance to get treads on the ground.

 

Look if you want for players to leave.  You are on the fast track to that.  However, if you want to achieve your hey day presence.  Follow this one simple rule.  K.I.S.S.  Keep It Simple Stupid.

Smoky: It's OP. There's a reason for it being a mid-range weapon.

PRO pass: Just like easing pain. I see nothing wrong with it. Take this from several views.

Pause time: A decrease in mults has been seen. You can't disagree with that.

First I want to say it is stupid of decreasing every turret damage, with a m4 railgun, it is impossible for me with DD to one shot a viking m3 without protection. I mean seriously? Now days I can't even one shot a m2 hornet either -.- What is the point of me wasting crystals of getting an m4 railgun and can't even get some small advantages? Plus isida became useless, every rank the self heal is 10? That made that weapon useless in higher ranks.

Nothing is pay to play. Invest your time, earn crystals and use them to buy pro pass. It is more profitable than before and also brings a better experience by allowing you to play battles customised to suit your gameplay.

Even small time buyers find it difficult to compete with the big 'sharks' who pay thousands of dollars and fully MU their equipment. Luckily, these kind of players are tiny in number and they get to higher ranks pretty quickly. But still, it would indeed be nice to have some kind of solution to narrow this gap.

The latest update is enough for me. If you can't start a battle without propass, i'm out of this game forever. I think that there's been too many updates to this game lately. And they are not better ones. If every game needs money to play, this isn't my game anymore. I've bought lot of crystals over these years. I don't want to pay if I only want to play the game I want to play. Please answer, how do I quit my account in Tanki Online?
