I think that Tanki Online is officially dead. This what we have now is a pay-to-win edition of the old game. 

The old community forced some ideas which were good solutions for solving some major problems, but as I see - none of them were added to to the game.

Instead of implementing the new Kick2 system which would decrease the gold box begging in chat and in-game sabotage, Tanki added a gold box supply. Today, I've entered various battles and many chats were flooded with messages "drop gold". Also, there are many players thinking that admins are still dropping gold boxes.

Premium accounts are dominating in Tanki. The damaged balance with buyer kits was totally destroyed with this feature. I don't have anything against players with premium accounts, but players with non-premium accounts are tired of battles where they can't get a good reward and have a good gaming experience.

The gaming experience is ruined. Tanki used to be a perfect game with minor problems and a great community. Unfortunaetly, instead of solving those problems, they were improved and introduced as major and good updates. Tanki's golden period was 2013-2014, the community was bigger with various clans and tournaments. Many players left the game, and TO is not what it used to be.

Obviously, it was too good to be true.

In all free games you must pay to win. I dont see your point. In this game there are many players like you who do not want to pay. So for you players, they have created Pro Passes. This allows you to create battles without Micro upgrades and drugs. 

 

However I agree with that the game has gotten smaller but I believe thats also to do with the advertisement of this game which is tiny. Soon there will be a solution which we are all waiting for about the new Clan update which is coming soon.

Ahem.

 

Shaft is absolutely useless now... I can hardly see anything, and now I have a severely limited vertical angle... Please. At least decrease the zoom and increase the vertical angle at least 50% of what it was before...

Make shaft great again?

 

Shaft is already OP as heck for the Legend guys who have M4 with alterations. Then they have it sitting on M4 mamy hull. They get 1000 kills a day in big maps and lots in small maps too if they want it. With drugs they are hard to kill. You just haven't spent enough money yet.

The truth of what Tanki has boiled down to.  "You just haven't spent enough money yet."

In all free games you must pay to win.

That is not the truth. Not in all, but in many free games, there is used a principle "pay to get a better chance to win". In the Tankionline, it seems to be used the principle "pay or lose".

Well, i think non-buyers can beat buyers. If druggin is the problem, save your drugs don't waste them for nothing, it is kinda easy to get them... If MUs are the problems go and play PRO battles where MUs are off, you will get M4 equipment soon or later. Buying doesn't effect on skills, time of playing and your will to become a pro effects on skills.

Drugging is not the problem, I do not like it, but OK, it is a part of the game.

Just to be sure: M4 = M3 + microupgrades. Am I right?

For example, I have Isida M3 (microupgrades 50/50) and Mammoth M3 (microupgrades 33/50). I think it is not bad. And I am dead with enemy (Isida M3 and Hunter M3), although I have "full health" at the beginning of the fight, he does not use drugs and nobody helps him.

Why don't you try using Shaft for a bit and then try it? It's only about 50% as useful...

I earn enough to buy a piece of equipment then I earn enough to upgrade it to M4. Then I buy another piece and get it to M4. I would eventually like to have all equipment but shaft will be the last one I get around to.

Okay, then please don't give an opinion of something that you don't use often. No offense...

Hi Mr Cedric,

 

Currently, friends system works one-on-one in the sense that only you and your friend know that you are friends. So if the system were somehow capable of showing links among friends on opposite (ONLY) teams, it would give some level of insight to everyone in that battle right? Do you think there could be ill-effects arising out of publicizing friendships in the game?

I don't like your idea Spit_Fire, I think it is useless information that some people might not want to share. I personally don't see how knowing that some of my enemies are friends of each other would be useful or interesting to me, I just couldn't care less about it.

That's the idea, but unfortunately people here prefer complaining and buying and wasting drugs, spending huge amounts on MUs and end up raging etc cos they can't get enough crystals for turrets/hulls... but find it way too expensive to buy a 5k pro pass ._. Ehhh sometimes I wonder what the IQ of an average player is xD

Okay. Next time you are replying at me, plz quote me. I think you may have misunderstood. I'm only talking about the scenario where friends are playing against each other. Not with each other on same team.

 

I'm just thinking this is the way it works in the real world right? If you are friends with someone, others are going to know about it. What harm is there?

Friends who play against each other don't don't always ally 100% with their team goals right? They will always be prone to not attacking their friend, helping him, letting him win etc. My point is that you can't blame/declare them to be mults but the line is very blurry. The team suffers for being in the dark about this.

 

If you were on my team, and you had a friend on the other who you feel guilty about killing, I could step in and help "us" by killing him :P Afterall, we're A team rt? Not 2,3,4,5...

Sorry, I don't like the idea. It would initiate a ton of speculation about who's multing and whatnot. Just because I'm friends with someone, doesn't mean I'm gonna sabotage my team when playing against that person. But if players are given that information, it will result in an endless stream of witchhunts and report spamming. Definitely not a good idea.

Just to be sure: M4 = M3 + microupgrades. Am I right?

Maybe protection module? 35% - 50% can make a HUGE difference.

I request you to kindly go to the Helpers section and count the number of moderators. Then check the number of players online at any particular time using server load graph.

Taking into account that all moderators cannot be online at same time, try to calculate the amount of reports a single moderator as to deal with. The sheer numbers will crush you. Mods cannot handle all complaints immediately. So, before you go out criticising mods and calling them lazy, think about the number violators that would still be in the game without them. Show some respect for them. They take out time from their lives and relaxation time so that players like you and me can play and enjoy ourselves.

I would recommend recruiting more battle mods or implementing Kick2
