Mafiso is HUGE clown.

 

:lol:  :lol:  :lol:  Absolutely love the way you call him  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:  He is indeed a bit of a clown, very jovial and fun to be around :D :D

 

He's not a bad clown though!  He's actually very serious when it comes to his moderating jobs.  Over the pas month there's been only 2 merge topics he made

 

 

The reason of the first merger is explained is well explained by himself as you can see in the pic above.  The second one is about keeping the forum conversations more or less organised.  This way anyone from the community and specially from the development team can quickly navigate to a certain topic of interest and get all the crucial feedback necessary instead of having it all be scattered across dozens and dozens of separate topics talking about the same thing just because someone wanted to get the spotlight by creating a new topic instead of contributing to an existing discussion.

 

Devs don't care about who made what topic.  They care about the content of the feedback, not who its multiple authors were, nor are they planning to give some medals to them for that.  They just don't have time for it, and some of you might think its rude, but its just the way it is and they have to keep it that way to be more efficient.

Same for that clown in particular, he happens to be 1 of the key clowns who week upon week, day upon day sift through all the stuff posted on this forum by all the many of you to find out the feedback and ideas and suggestions which are worth escalating up to the developers.  In order for this clown and all other clowns doing that job there needs to be a certain level of order, and having everyone create a separate topic to discuss about the same thing over and over is not an ordered solution.  Hence why the mergers happen, and it will remain this way, has to, otherwise your feedback goes nowhere but except to a bunch of forumers who cannot influence the game development as much it not at all compared to a well escalated feedback.

 

And thinking that a merged topic gets less attention is a wrong assumption.  It just means the conversation was moved and merged with a similar discussion in order to enrich that discussion.  A rich discussion has far more impact on the actual feedback that goes to the devs.  A singular light topic has far less chances of making any meaningful impacts at all.

My complains?

 

1. i got banned twice. One time when i was pushed of a ramp sideways and i told that player he was an ass. He didnt get banned but i did. The second time when somebody was discussing my sexual habits and those of my mother. I told him he showed what kind of family and neighbourhood he was from and i got banned. This guy did not get banned.

 

2. the new battle creation system caused most probattles to be with drugs. So battles without drugs are hardly there and even harder to find.

 

3. Players spend a lot of time developing hulls and turrets based on what they do and how they handle and tanki just changes features of hulls and turrets. Its like buying a car with automatic transmission and the carshop forcing you to buy a smaller with manual transklission. These hulls and turrets are owned by the players and tanki is very rude and anti-social just changing them.

 

4. The way tanki has developped the game caused a lot of players to drug constanly. That way the biggest drugger "wins" instead of the best player in case he or she does not drug. players leave to wot so tanki has to think its businessmodel over Chasing your ( potential ) customers away is the most stupid thing a company can do.

 

I dont live in the illusion tanki does care coz their behaviour has shown multiple times tanki does not care about players opinions, but its off my chest.

None of those bans were made by helpers of EN community. I suggest you to complain right away if you feel that your ban is not deserved, so the admins can check the situation at hand. No point "taking it off your chest" months later when nothing can be done about it. And may I repeat that you weren't banned by EN helpers?

whats going on with client as of late i keep getting error messages an get booted from battle its only been like this last couple of weeks ive uninstalled an reinstalled a few times hasnt changed much mainly happens on medium to large maps

OK, this is about gift cards. Just before the new year, tanki let gift cards come back for the US only. I got a best buy one of X mas and it doesn't work. The company that manages this, Pay Garden, said that it was fixed but when I tried it still didn't work. I email BOTH tanki & pay garden. Please fix this issue so that I can use my card

Just for the record I think Mafioso is tremendously improved and does an excellent job most of the time. Does he occasionally make a mistake, sure.

After these recent patch, it is impossible to battle, the LAG is too strong, also chat...chat is really slow.

Clearing catch hasn't reduce the lags, although ping and fps are normal !!

I created a forum topic for my parkour club's channel in the video makers forum, it got approved and later got hidden or deleted and I never received information on why it happened. Is there a missing rule about not creating topics for parkour club channels that have their own topic in the parkour forum or something like that?  :huh:

With the last garage update, we lost the ability to check battle settings while playing in that specific battle. The battle button gives us to choice : stay or leave. But we can't see the lobby. I usually join my battles fast and check after if there is alteration or MU. Now I can't.

 

Will it come back? It's very useful.

I think it would be more convenient to have the R/V buttons display (additionally to what they already do) the battle information icons in the corner of your screen, maybe top left under the EXP bar, so you can just hold down a button to check the settings instead of having to open the battles menu. It makes a lot more sense to do that if you want a feature specifically to check battle settings, opening the whole battles menu for it doesn't make much sense and it's kinda slow and you can't do it while fighting so you have to wait till respawn or other good moment for checking it.

But yeah, I asked a year ago to have a key on the keyboard showing the settings. Maybe they will do it now.

I honestly don't know. It's up to the devs. But I think right now their main focus is finalizing the Clan system and Artillery turret.
