Oh I am fully aware of this bug.  And if you are aware of it why hasn't it be squished yet?

The last time Hazel mentioned that problem, he said that they weren't able to find a solution to the problem yet. Now all their focus is on switching the game to HTML5, which should solve a lot of the bugs Tanki is currently facing, including this one.

 

Cooper - yes they are working on lots of things. Like the kill counter that I have reported 300 times to no avail. It is super frustrating to know you should have had 20 or so kills in a game and you have 8. Devs are not that concerned about it or they would have fixed it. Thanks

They're focusing on switching to HTML5, rather than trying to fix many of the current bugs and glitches, because the switch will eliminate most of those bugs. That way they're killing two birds with one stone, so to speak.

Can you make it so that kills and deaths in parkour format don't count towards the players kills, deaths, and K/D in their profile?

The reason I asked this is because many players who are too lazy to raise their K/D in other battles just do in parkour battles. Which I believe is abuse of a feature.

And once this is in, then we'll see what would be the next reason for purposely killing in parkour.

Ahem. What about my question? <_<

Shaft, ricochet, and isida with double damage. All other weapons with double damage are not that hard to beat but these 3 become impossible to kill.

 

Shaft: using 1/4 of his charge 1 shots you, it doesn't care whether you're light or medium or heavy hull.

 

Ricochet: first shot, 1/3 of your hp, you notice. second shot, less than half your hp, you are turning to attack him. third shot, you die, you weren't able to do something.

 

Isida: Kills light hulls in 1 second, medium in 2 seconds, and heavy in 3 seconds, and it heals everyone in less than 1 second.

Multers and hackers reign supreme.

The only way to compete successfully against them is to drug heavily, unless those m and h players also drug heavily, but at least druggers who don't cheat are most likely to win against cheaters who don't drug...

Okay so I am very very pissed about the server changes update. The reason I thought Russians, English and others were different was due to a language barrier. If this is the case then why was the update even implemented. The other day I was playing a noise ctf game and we were winning 3-4 (first to 7) and we had a whole bunch of Russians in our team. Due to this fact we couldn't talk strategy with them or tell them when to jump for the flag. They couldn't understand what I was saying and ended up costing us the game as no one would go for flag. The fund was around 50k which is alot considering how I had premium too and was second. This has happened quite a few times and because I play against people I don't speak the same language, games are getting more and more boring and there is no point of the chat anymore.

 

Also have another problem. I have noticed tons of people who sit by the flag and don't do anything to help the team and are in essence multing but they kill or heal others. They just don't help go for the flag or defend it, just go for personal gain. is there anyway we can fix this issue.ALSO WHY DO SO MANY RUSSIAN TANKERS HAVE M4S BUT DONT MOVE THEIR TURRET.

 

I think that the old way if servers should be implemented bit if tanki is trying to save space cut down number of severs instead making them all EU. This will help countless players in communication in games which don't have drugs and you actually need strategy.

Magnum and (to a lesser extent) isida are ridicuously OP.

 

Magnum is OP without any supplies enabled. An M2 isida on double damage can destroy me in one second flat. My viking is almost M4, so what was the point in spending so much time and crystals on getting a strong hull if it can be destroyed so easily?

The main reason that players left, or complain about daily mission in regular battle, is DRUG! No one like to play against a heavily drugger.

 

Now you are trying to introduce "Zero supply"?!

 

I would like "Zero supply" to cancel all drug effect on opponent team.

Yes, tanki keep denying this and say it's because the game is old, but it's a succession of bad updates which have turned players away. Absolutely no denying it.

Hazel has the balance of the game right where he wants - totally screwed up. I don't even know what to play anymore. I have mostly all m4 equipment and I can't even get kills that much anymore. The game has sunk to new levels. No one cares, especially not Cedric or Hazel. This game I fear is nearly dead. This is not the way to save it. Magnum is just stupid op, they cut hammer (which used to be my go-to turret, and Vulcan to nothing. I used to slaughter rails with my high rail protection now I can't even do that anymore. The cheaters have taken the game completely over. I see no hope at all of anything ever being done by the devs, except to make it worse. Russian players, who cheat worst of all, should play each other and NOT on the eu servers. Not that it would make much difference. I don't want to hear excuses any more or that the next "upgrade" will be better.


Magnum is annoying as heck, and there's no protection against it?! At least when hammer and vulcan were introduced, tanki implemented protections within the existing paints.

Stop counting server disconnections as kills! Every time I get a connection error (many times, see my other topic in problems and solutions) and reload for return in the battle, in the stats my disconnection count as one player killed me. It is very annoying, it ruins my K/D ratio but much worse is the penality in DM battle (for me) or in TDM (for all the team!). Please fix this problem...

The way to protect yourself is to sneak up on it and either box it in or quickly move around it, while shooting it of course.

 


Eithern, I fully agree.
I'll add that the problem you stated is mostly caused by hackers upset when we succeed against their multing cheating.

Increase supplies.

What is this supposd to mean? Could you explain a little? Do you want to get more of them from daily missions? Do you want them to have a greater effect on your tank? Do you want them to last longer?

Okay developers... latest gripes.  First something really needs to be done about the lag it is sickining.  I am practically playing 1977 Atari Combat because I have to have the graphics dumbed down so far.  I have to play with the audio muted and chats off.  This creates a plethoria of other problems.  With the audio off you can't hear when a mine has been dropped.  I would like to see some kind of visual notification that a mine has been placed. With the chats off you can't stratagize with other players.  Not like I could because I don't speak Russian.

Hello dev's.  I've encountered this specimen:

Extra Context:

 

So I entered this battle at around the 7 minute mark, with score 3-1 in Red's favor.  Blue was fierce, however, and they kept going for Red's flag. Ultimately, Blue had 5-6 flag capture attempts, making only 2 successful captures. In particular, Gzurr1 was the one spearheading the defense and stopping Blue's runs. But then Gzurr1 "left" and "joined" on the Blue team! Seeing this, I had thought he had betrayed Red, and was anticipating Blue curb stomping Red when the timer thankfully ran out.

 

 

 

If I recall correctly, Tribute has a maximum player capacity of 20 players, and for team battles, each team has a maximum capacity of 10 players. And if my eyesight has not failed me, Blue somehow has 11(!) players!

 

Sadly, this was not a one-time occurrence, as it happened in a Highland battle once!  While normally, up to 8 players can be on each team in Highland, here Blue inexplicaply managed to amass an extra player to make a 9 player team!

Magnum is too OP, they can one shot me and they ruin every single battle I join in Noise. Before Magnums, Thunders were already annoying for me, but now there's both Thunders AND Magnums shooting down at us, and it's getting on my nerves  :angry:

So these anomalies are a result of cheats?  Isn't the current matchmaking system also responsible for incorrectly placing one too many players on one team? Either the system glitches up and incorrectly places players on teams or the system has bugs that cheaters have exploited. Who knows? In the meantime, I guess I'll record some footage of any anomalies and post it here later for future reference.

 

Still, it would be ideal for the dev's (through representative spokespersons) to clarify on this anomaly.

This is not a hack or cheat, it's merely a glitch. It has two forms: either one team has a extra player and the other team is one player down (total amount of players in the map doesn't change, difference between amount of players in each team is 2), or there's an extra player in the map (difference between amount of players in each team is 1). Most likely these glitches are caused by two players clicking to join the game at the exact same moment, or they join exactly when the game just ended and the teams switch side.
