Viking4s, this is not exactly the best way to keep a disenfranchised player engaged in the gaming experience.  Especially, when that player is courting other MMO games.  

 

Just an open suggestion.  Customer Satisfaction is key to long-term survival.  I am the Customer.  I feel as if the current abomination of the game SUCKS (defined - an unpleasant experience)!  My feeling (perception) is as a player (my reality).  I don't care about any other's reality being in line with any other's reality.  The facts are facts.  

 

Just saying, another long term player to becoming a former-player.

As one customer among many others, you can do whatever you want: you can play or not play, it's up to you. If the game is not to your liking anymore or you want to see something new, so be it. It's life and that's a fact, so you can court as many game as you want.

If you hope to change how Alternativa see and managed the game and communication, I can tell you right now that you reached a dead end. Everybody will know in due time, what ever information they wish to disclose, that's how they work. They don't care about their reputation (it's a cultural thing, probably the hardest to change), they know they are doing the right and necessary thing.

 

The reality that you need to understand is that the game as you knew is evolving to a new game, Alternativa, through The Devs work, is reshaping TO. They do communicate about the changes, however they haven't shared the final stage because in the process they do take into account some feedback. If you have followed all the livestreams, v-log and Hazel posts, you can see more or less where the game is heading. The slow evolution/modification made to TO creates some weird and/or unwanted effect, but those steps are necessary. In the process it will make some people unhappy but I think it is better than a quick and brutal change that would make even more people leave.

 

Working in a different industry I can tell you that changes of a product in a market is the a really tough decision to take, because the risk to lose customer is high. When the decision is taken it's come from the top, and you really need a good reason to stop and reverse the process. Monitoring the feedback and people behavior is key to success so adjustment can be done. And sometime the changes are forced upon you because the world around you has changed too (competition, change of legislation,..) and you need to adapt if you want to survive.

The handicap is terrible: 8 and 9 levels on the same battle?

Its just for the spending? Maybe thats why so many people just leave and dont come back again.

Ballance the battles and cut the add ons. Make things fair. Do you know the meaning of the word?

PT/BR servers are almost empty... ever wonder why?

I'm tired of every single battle I join being ruined by Magnums. It doesn't matter the mode or the map. TDM, CP, CTF, Aleksandrovsk, Cross, Cologne, Future, Skylark (just to name the few that I've played today and yesterday). When are you going to get rid of that stupid turret?

Okay so I am very very pissed about the server changes update. The reason I thought Russians, English and others were different was due to a language barrier. If this is the case then why was the update even implemented. The other day I was playing a noise ctf game and we were winning 3-4 (first to 7) and we had a whole bunch of Russians in our team. Due to this fact we couldn't talk strategy with them or tell them when to jump for the flag. They couldn't understand what I was saying and ended up costing us the game as no one would go for flag. The fund was around 50k which is alot considering how I had premium too and was second. This has happened quite a few times and because I play against people I don't speak the same language, games are getting more and more boring and there is no point of the chat anymore.

 

Also have another problem. I have noticed tons of people who sit by the flag and don't do anything to help the team and are in essence multing but they kill or heal others. They just don't help go for the flag or defend it, just go for personal gain. is there anyway we can fix this issue.ALSO WHY DO SO MANY RUSSIAN TANKERS HAVE M4S BUT DONT MOVE THEIR TURRET.

 

I think that the old way if servers should be implemented bit if tanki is trying to save space cut down number of severs instead making them all EU. This will help countless players in communication in games which don't have drugs and you actually need strategy.

Your argument  is kinda invalid from a different viewpoint. What if the Russians did not understand you and since most of your team was Russian then you are at fault for not knowing how to speak Russian. Furthermore, some Tankers preferably do not like rotating their turret and that is their style of play. Finally it is a multi national game and since the game is Russian you should not be complaining. Something that I see everyday is that you bunch of english players always chat but when it comes to gaming it is the Russians that do the work. Actions speak louder than words.

Personally, I don't rely too much on in-battle chat.  These days, it gets littered with unpleasant, sometimes obnoxious toxicity that hardly does anything but ruin everyone else's day/fuel more toxicity.  Typically, I focus more on the battlefield rather than on some winners' bragging rights.  

 

Of course, I am aware of at least one of the root causes of this toxicity: dissatisfaction within TO community right now.  I would call for more satisfactory updates from the dev's that would make TO's core gameplay more fun and less aggravating, but I don't know...seeing the release of controversial updates like the Paint Separation update makes me skeptical.  

 

Oh and btw: nice straw man of the EN folks.  Surely you captured the essence of players such as I.  ^_^

The problems I want from you to solve:
1. error blocking the turret to turn and to shoot when returning from

    the garage still happens 6-7 years from the first re-balance.

    The turret has block and I can not turn left or right or shoot.

    I must do double press on the ESC button and everything is OK.
    For that time I am dead player or the opposite team is leading too
    much for the rest playing. It is happens even I go to garage and do
    nothing.
2. In the garage the rolling track is to small and can not be picked
    with the mouse.
3. You have a big errors in the texture maps almost every time when
    there is a cascaded ground and when that happens my tank when
    I am on a speed drug is thrust into the ground or a wall like pin.
4. And normal the dictator cheater population exists with his jumping on
    others head and if everybody noticed for last Holiday the servers
    was crowded with the jumping cheaters almost every time on the
    catching gold. And when I send to you the picture of the jumping
    cheater and the next report you said to me that I must send that to
    the Japanese consul to put that picture into the formulas 2 and when
    they bring that on the site of the link X, then you will do think of the
    considering whether it is a cheater or not. BLAH!
    Do IF you want or let the cheater rampage in the tankionline,
    I don't care.
5. A huge problem with reporting the insult player is when the player is
    banned he can not report the insult with the command
    /VOTE <name of the player>
    Why? Is it forbidden to report or it is a penalty to be insulted when we
    do our self.
    But if You do that on a purpose You do not distinguish from those
    who insult. And You don't want to be less insult player but role a GOD
    Or a Devil.
6. Resolve the problem with the alternative camera behavior, every time
    I go to the new game I must restart two times (check two times option of
    alternative camera behavior) if I want to use it.

7. My finish day of mission chain every time has been finished on a Tuesday.

    But on a last week has been moved for 2 or 3 days when they enter the

    patch update. And now my finish day for a chain mission is Friday.

    And when I tried to tell them, they say you are broken mission on a 26.6.2017.

    missed one day to finish mission, yes but then my finish day will be a

    Wednesday like last time, but not a Friday. I ask You or a them How can

    my mission chain finished 3 days later if I didn't missed more then one day????????

    But If I missed more then one day then my chain would be reset on the

    start of the week and I will need again 7 days to finish the mission not

    3 days more.

    How can it be possible if I am missed only one day of mission chain???????

    I will answer on that simple question they refuse to admit that there is an

    error in counting the mission finish line in the system.

the only other comments in the Tanki forum I repeatedly read for my comedic levity is my own about others cheating without drugs.

The developers continually to astound me with their decisions, in the worst way possible.

First, you consolidate the servers. Now, literally two thirds of the people in each game write in Cyrillic, and I have no idea what in the world my teammates are talking about, when before players were divided by what language they spoke. Was there any benefit in doing this?

This isn't to mention the rampant drugging. Most of the matches are decided by which team drugs the most, so eventually the match ends up as a complete slaughter dominated by the (bored) winning team over the (frustrated) losing team. People tell me that this is "part of the game", but just because it does exist doesn't mean it should exist. I know this is an old complaint, but this is to me the single worst thing in Tanki at the moment, and can be fixed by having stricter rules on what drugs you can use and when (which already exist, but in too weak of a form).

And now, with Overdrive, you're encouraging extreme drugging. I suppose it's nice that non-buyers can drug now, but now the matches will be even more lopsided. Whichever team uses the Overdrive the earliest will win, and will win with the might of a thousand suns. Even if the opposing team uses their Overdrives, they will be outnumbered and spawn killed immediately by three players from the dominating team who have double the speed, damage, and armor, too. The fact that those benefits can be shared with your teammates makes no difference to those who are spawn-killed, as typically when you spawn you're separated from your teammates. 

This isn't hypothetical-- I've seen this happen over and over again. Every time the holiday celebrations ended, I thanked my lucky stars because I wouldn't have to deal with Overdrive anymore.

I could go on. Too expensive items for too weak of an effect, hackers rampant, etc. I was this close to leaving Tanki, and now with the Overdrive I just might. I've never felt so screwed over by a free game.
