The legend rank is too broad. From recruit upwards there is an incremental change in garage and skill which keeps the game (somewhat) balanced. Why, then, is a "legend 1" user lumped into battles against users who could have 20,000,000 experience points?

 

There is no real difference between a legend 1 user and a generalissimo, just like there is no difference between a commander and a generalissimo. But the difference between legend 1 and say, legend 20, is just ridiculous and unfair. They have full protection against everything and usually have isida friends keeping them alive. It is hard to find a balanced game.

 

PLEASE put the higher legends ranks into a different bracket as it's not fair to play against them. The lowest rank I can face is field-marshal but the highest is infinite.

I've brought this up before - there should be some kind of division(s) even in these upper ranks.

 

Would have thought the spread for downward was larger though - could have sworn I've seen Brigadiers in some of my battles.

Most games are one sided, when the other team caps 1 or 2 flags, people in your team leave, making it worse. Buyers, Overdrive and Magnum ruin the game. There should be a limit on how much people can upgrade their equipment per rank and maybe a limit in the number of supplies used per battle.

Most games are one sided, when the other team caps 1 or 2 flags, people in your team leave, making it worse. Buyers, Overdrive and Magnum ruin the game. There should be a limit on how much people can upgrade their equipment per rank and maybe a limit in the number of supplies used per battle.

https://tankix.com/en/ The game that's NOT Pay2Win and the matchmaking system is done properly without any mistakes. Switch to the right side where Non-Buyers are as powerful as Buyers.

On regular battles the lowest rank I can face is field-marshal. I don't even know who creates the battles though... moderators? On PRO battles you can face much lower ranks.

when you click the battle button, battles get created.

Those battles are automatically generated when you press the 'Battle' button. Rank ranges were changed with this update.

I've played Tanki X from the moment it came out of closed beta. It has balanced battles and supplies, and has almost no pay2win features. But it's BORING. Which is why I rarely play it, and why I suspect few TO players do as well.

Boring?! For me this game is boring, saving up is a...   ....and Tanki X actually has not that many players but enough for players to have lots of battles. More balanced battles than TO. You get more daily missions, and it's not Pay2Win. It's Pay2Cosmetic. You can already change color of your ammo, skins, and matchmaking is done properly. Also, supplies no longer exist. Modules have replaced them. Examples of modules: Spider mines, invisibility, etc. Try TX again it will amaze you.

Three weeks ago tankers received 3 daily missions - same as Tanki.  Has it changed in past three weeks?

Also...

- there's no weekly bonus

- you can't change missions - you are stuck with them until you complete it.

 

Here's an example of a mission:

Collect 30 flags for one container.  Random item in container.  Took me 3-4 days to complete the mission. So I only had 2 new missions over course of collecting 30 flags.  For collecting 30 flags my reward was a useless paint.

The map situation is really lame. In the three years I've been playing the only new maps introduced are:

 

Aleksandrovsk - good map, but we totally got ripped off by a CP mode that only has one control point

Canyon - a good map, but kind of small

Deck-9 - tiny and worthless

Magadan - absolutely worthless

 

Nobody plays the big maps any more. They are not even available in non-pro battles. You never see Berlin, you never see Skyscrapers. These used to be fairly common battles. And the big daddy, Madness, the greatest map of all time, you took away. Nobody ever plays the new bastardized noob map you gave its name to, so what was the point in doing that.

 

I'm seriously bored playing all these little maps. Bring Madness back.

Golfinray, I pretty much disagree. Thunder and Vulcan can own Madness and Skyscrapers. And my worst fear on Madness wasn't Shaft, it was that there would be a noob Smoky that never stops drugging. It's true that short range guns would have a hard time on these maps, but at least medium range guns can do well. In fact one time I played a Madness DM that was dominated by a guy using Freeze/Wasp. Everywhere you went he was right behind you. But that was the only time I've seen something like that.

Vulcan can own a map? Are we talking about the same Vulcan? The one who does 0 damage past 20 meters from your tank?

LOL. Well, before they massively crippled it earlier this year. The way I see it is it's in a temporary state right now, eventually they'll have to restore some of its power.

I know it has modules. I've used them. TX does NOT amaze me. Playing on the same six maps over and over again is BORING. Driving tanks that feel and sound like lawnmowers is BORING. I feel the same way about the physics in TX as wolverine848 does. Grinding on one turret or hull all the time is BORING. Sure, cosmetics are cool. But they are expensive and don't give you any advantage in battle, so why bother with them? The turrets feel like BB guns (Hammer looks and feels like it shoots confetti and not shotgun pellets, Shaft summons a red dot on the enemy and doesn't feel like a sniper rifle. Compare this with TO, where firing Hammer is satisfying, and Shaft feels like a laser cannon.). The sound design is meh. Twins is stupidly annoying. Constant shell ejection sounds drive me crazy. Railgun sounds like a toy gun and not a railgun. Sound balance in general is messed up, a tank that is a distance away from sound like it's right next to you. Most of the sounds have low bitrate. For all the effort that went into the graphics, the overall style is just meh. The mastery system is the worst offender. It's like one giant micro upgrade chain. Spend several thousand crystals on one upgrade step that you won't even notice in battle. What fun! Not to mention you also have to keep on playing on the same hull + turret combo to do so.

Has more than 6 maps, there are new ones.

Do they still have the extra damage to back-of-tank applied?  So that everyone drives backward once they've grabbed a flag?

Yes they have extra damage from the back of the Tank, but really you wouldn't really realise it as the gameplay is not too fast paced, but exactly slow.

well before u go we now have issues with loading bar popping up after you leave a battle and stays loading for over 2 minutes . not only that we also have issues trying to get on forum and it tells you that oops there is a issue please try again.. mean wail you do it again in less then 15 sec and it opens..

 

reopen the complaint issues section . so players can post there problems ..

The 10 flag missions is not showing progress, even if I capture in non-pro battle with holiday paint and more than one player on opposition team.

Get it fixed fast.

interesting when the dev's say this system we have now is way better then the past systems . I have to beg to differ only cause my M2 fully upgraded on all items  ( turret / hull and protection ) and yet I still come out on top with my rank or higher I even do this with gizmo and marshals . even with match making the system wont help players , its way to easy for lower ranks but when you get to legends its no longer balance game play when your with all legends from 1 to 100 level . this should be changed for the ranks , so game balance could happen . you had it good in tanki x where it was a three tier system on rank levels this way high and stronger battled with there own and so on . bring it back for both systems and forget about match making its garbage . and you wonder why players in tanki X have left .. keep trying dev's one day you might get it right but then ?? I'm still waiting for this day to happen...

been there done that over my 4 years in tanki , why do you think i now post in this section cause I'm not the only one.. who say's the same record over and over again . so many are having same issues or complaining about ranks being with higher ranks . this the help section has no control on , only the Dev's and the Cm who can talk about it, and figure out some way to compromise for the players .

 

I guess you need to re-read what i posted the first time , cause even bugs and glitches wont help when its not a glitches..

This is a poor example. You are highest rank in an M2 battle with fully upgraded M2s. You probably drug quite a bit as well. What's so surprising about your victory? In the gap between M2 and M3 (from Brigadier to Marshal) practically everyone has fully upgraded M2s or an M3 kit, because no one wants to wait until Marshal to buy M3s. I have a fully MU'd M2 Viking. But I don't feel powerful for my rank at all, because unless I get in a battle like the one you posted, where everyone is below me, most of the players I face have upgraded equipment or even M4s. The system is bad, but I think this is because of rank brackets and the gap between M2 and M3.

sir i understand all that , but when you have marshals and gizmo's in the same battles with you and still come out on top three places . there is something wrong . higher ranks should not be battling with my rank or even lower ranks . this gives the lower less experience players a major disadvantage to others . would enjoy battling with a legend when your a new recruit or even high .. I think not due to you would not even be able to kill's on  any tanks . its like wasting 15 minutes of your time..

 

also smooth move Cedric on not allowing players to comment on the winners for your meme contest.. not to worry i knew long time ago I never stood a chance. due  to most of them were mods who won or your favorite players .. we are so glad your leaving  ..

Taking away our partially completed holiday missions was a miserable, miserly move.  

 

It's like Santa Claus taking back a toy because you didn't play with it 'enough'.

 

What's hurting this game is a grasping, ungenerous attitude.
