not sure what is going on with FPS or ping, normally i'm ok in battles but today in EU2 supper high levels , plus others with in the same battle experienced the same issues

 

also yesterday not sure if others are experiencing this but . was in a  battle and my activation turned on with out even touching it plus my level for it was only around 55-65% level . so I knew I did not have enough to hit it.. not sure if its a glitch or what..

Had lots of issues trying to get into battles last night. Timed out a lot as it never loaded.  ~ 1/2 hr to get into a battle at one point.

PLS LEARN STUPID PLAYERS TO MOVE STUPID TURRET AND USE SUPPLIES ! 

I CANT PLAY ANYMORE WITH THESE NOOBS, HOW THE HELL THEY HAVE LEGEND RANKS ???

do you have any suggestions how to motivate players to turn their turret?

I am sure they already know that they could perform so much better if they would turn the turret.. but they still don't do it..

Ideas?

kick them out for inactivity if they don't turn it every 2 minutes.

Dear Sir..

 

someone looked into this and found out that it takes less time to not turn them and still get a kill , compared to how long it takes to turn them..

I'm your worse enemy on not turning them , I prefer not to turn them only cause with Ricochet I have learned over the years to hit objects that rebound and take enemy's out faster and easier..

 

your mission ... is to make turning the turrets faster and simplify then to work easier for players..then you will see more turning them..LOL :P :wub:

someone looked into this and found out that it takes less time to not turn them and still get a kill , compared to how long it takes to turn them..

I'm your worse enemy on not turning them , I prefer not to turn them only cause with Ricochet I have learned over the years to hit objects that rebound and take enemy's out faster and easier..

I kindly appreciate your answer, which is in full line with the insights I received from multiple Rico players over the years. Many told me, that the reason for not spinning their turret is basically pure convinience and that they can hit their targets pretty well by only turning their hull.

The reason why I still posted an question and not this answer, is that the original complaint focused on players that do not spin their turret and does not know how to use supplies - and this is a rather rare species IMHO. Most of the non-turret-turners use supplies a lot (cough - they have to to keep up :p - cough)

 

On the other side I don't understand how faster spinning turrets would help.. but I will sit with you in the first row in Stadium laughing together about the firebirds that hit nothing any more, if their fast spinning turret turn like crazy, and about the railgun's airtraces that are anywhere else but on the target :ph34r:. Popcorn is on me :P

What?

 

Once mastered you can hit targets just as easy (with Ricco) while moving AND take less damage because... you are moving.

Much harder to move and hit targets if you can't turn your turret...

MMMMM Popcorn..mmmm any time sir... will bring the pop ... also if you think about a fire or freeze turning faster they would still do burn damage . its seems that Ricochet is now becoming the weakest of the turrets . rail takes u out in one shot , hammer in two , and so on.. they need to improve Ricochet back to the way it use to be , cause it takes me sometimes three full health bar to kill players..

Does this happen when you use it with your hornet? If yes then the problem is your combo.

Unfortunately players no longer get refund for their glitched battle rewards or even Golds. Better luck next time but there are several ways you can reduce the lag on your own.

I've been a long time player of this game and currently, there are a lot of things which are wrong with this game.... The Devs should work on fixing the existing issues and then try to implement something new... I hope nives would relay this message to the dev team ASAP! I would also love to hear the views of the mods (blackwasp, hexxed, hate etc.) on the problems given below:

 

1) Module system: Magnum and Striker have the least protection in the game and these turrets deal devastating damage! The lack of modules and useless existing ones don't even come close to solving these problems. The only way to solve this would be to let players decide what protection they would want out of their modules (make a standard module cost 250k crys). It would be easier to manage for the players and it would help bring down the popularity of these OP turrets (Twins, fire, magnum). [Temp Solution: nerf striker and magnum]

 

2) Battle System: Players still don't have the ability to chose the battle they want to play in... I get it that most in-game maps currently are dynamic and accommodate a vast diversity of players but this isn't always true. These maps give preference to mid ranged turrets, have slower overall gameplay and are unsuitable for short ranged turrets. Players should be able to select the map the should play on! My garage was mostly centred around short ranged turrets before the update but to keep myself in the game I had to go for Rico... this should not be the case at all!

 

3) Overpowered Premium account: Whenever I rant about this subject all answers I get is that " The game has to make money!", "If the game cant make money even you wouldn't be able to play" and what not.... I get it!! But it doesn't make sense to me that premium gives 2x crystals + more than 600 drugs to a player/month [thats about 80k crys worth]... You guys have already transferred most of the things to the shop and even still u dont nerf premiums.... At least downgrade the rewards a little !!

 

4)Very inefficient ban system: Banning players for sabotage, hacking etc. requires way too much evidence, not everyone want to keep their recorder running 24/7 ! The battle mods too are not around most of the time... I've seen tons of people hacking the game, it is a challenge in itself to convince people to report the offender(most people don't even speak English/know how to vote offender) and when this step is painstakingly completed you realise there aren't any mods around! The "Your report has been sent" gives it away easily and most hackers leave immediately.

 

5) OP Twins, Firebird: After the update twins has become the most OP'est turret ever... Even though my rico is 16/20 I still manage to earn more xp through my 9/20 Twins. Wasp/Fire with drugs swarm dm's and burn everyone to death so damn easily.... Even though I have both turrets in my garage I think they are very much OP and I would like to see them nerfed a bit.

 

6) Why cant u buy kits with striker/magnum from the garage? Are they a buyer-only item!? Is this the real reason they havent got many modules against them yet? I would really like an answer to this

i think tanki online is too much PAY2WIN and thats really bad, player who spends more money wins

 

0.10D/L is too good for me now

with thunder M1!!!! M1!!!

people have M2 combos at lower ranks

i have M2 weapons but they are trash: isida and freeze

ISIDA: was my favourite weapon but BOOM no self-healing R.I.P isida 2009-2017

FREEZE: why is it even in the game? absolutely USELESS

R.I.P 120K crystals. enough to get raigun M2 which i need to play XP/BP(i already have hornet M2), only fair mode in TO (no buyer advantage)

also supplies are really bad, just spend some money and you have 1500 of each and make the game of other players  REALLY BORING

1) Really? The Module System is so old that everyone has essentially got used to it and learned to adapt. IMHO, the Module System isn't even that bad anymore. In fact, it was actually a relatively underrated update, as its long term benefits were actually useful. Prior to it, barely any of the high tier paints could hit 150% in total protections, now every single M3 module can be MU'd to 150. Also, there's no such thing as a "temporary solution" - the Devs are either gonna "fix" the turrets or not. 

 

2) Wait what? Yes, the players do get to choose what maps they want to play in. *facepalm*

If you're talking about Matchmaking (which you better be because if not, your point is completely invalid), it's not even out yet and what you saw was essentially a 'prototype' - so to speak. This 'prototype' will be amended most likely. 

 

3) LOL. Premium ... OP? It doesn't actually even give a direct advantage. The crystals/EXP gained are earned, just multiplied, more than normal. You can still get Premium from Missions, which is actually rather generous of Tanki tbh. Yes, the game needs to make money and Premium is one of the best ways they can do so IMHO.

 

4) Yes, it's inefficient but Tanki has done what it's obliged to do - it has implemented an anti-hacc system and a set of Moderators. It is our responsiblity to follow the rules. The devs can't spend all their time trying to perfect a banning system. 

 

5) Firebird is OP at lower ranks but you simply have to stay away. If anything, I'd say Isida is OP, Firebird can be left alone. Regarding Twins, I think it's fine - it's basically always been strong, never underpowered. It takes some (not much) level of skill to it and can be deadly. 

 

6) Currently, yes, they are exclusive to the Shop. Though, I don't see the problem with that. You're complaining that they are OP and calling for them to be nerfed yet you want them to be more readily accessible? See the contradiction?


Honestly, I don't really think any of your suggestions are really that necessary. I am not one to blindly support Tanki in all its decisions, I've even made a massive rant topic about Isida but frankly, I don't really think any of your statements have a leg to stand on. ;) Edited by Marc
