The most common cause for this is lag, most likely either of the players have a slow or high latency internet connection. Nothing much can be done from the developers apart from the general optimisations they are already constantly making. 

I don't think is lag because they keep shooting at you while trying to flip you.

It's not much.. You can get to WO2 in less than a month.

yea its way to easy now and we now save on drugs big time ..

True, drugs are easy... Even at this rank I get >100 a week with mission chains. 

 

But my point was, the rank requirement is extremely low. Only need, what, 76000 exp before you can purchase any paints. At that rank, you shouldn't even be purchasing paints. (If you're a buyer, the shop paints look nicer, so they don't need Garage paints). 76000 < 1/10 of Legend 1.

Mostly you get long range  huge maps or the odd medium map, all the best maps are removed from non pro pass owners i have to say making create on pro pass was an error it takes the fun out of playing if you do not want to pro pass.

 

Wait for the Matchmaking system. It will solve this.

 

As i predicted the standard old pat answers and answers that avoid what im saying by answering something different:-

so you want to remove my choice of battle to ones that I dont like as a way to fix something that was not broken in the first place (the create button)

 

I understand why you did this as it means a player wants to get good value for money so they come back to game more often and play longer when they have a pro pass, as you hope they will eventually buy something for real money. Its the long game played to the detriment of what made tanki good in years gone bye.

 

The PRO Pass isn't that expensive, anyway Tanki is not P2W or even P2P. The developers have to make a living. 

 

and yes it is a p2w game, you say its not so employ some more staff to actually remove cheaters from battles and the game altogether forever, if it was not about the money they would have been gone a long time ago instead you keep them 

 

Take a good long look at why numbers fell from previous years what did you change to drive players away? Could it be pro pass changes, could it be the over drive, did it start when you removed  ability to 1234, and oh yes they stay active for less time and first aid is a joke.

 

Not really sure about that, I only joined this game about 6 months ago...

Hmm how about to many cheats never dealt with ( remove the cheats oh and  you have less buyers ) people have voted with their feet. You say you wish to ban cheaters but you make it so difficult to actually report someone successfully, how many reports are seen with not enough evidence posted on, you put the responsibility on players to report, when in reality its tanki staff responsibility to do this and i don't mean the "volunteer mods". You are being paid to keep this game clean, by many many players.

 

Use the /vote NICKNAME command to call for moderator assistance. You can report violators in the Game Violations section. Make sure you read the section rules before doing so!

 

 

 

How many times have you played the game and voted and seen a volunteer mod arrive, in the old days yes it happened frequently when coolwalky was about, ( ive been in 500 flag battles and not see a mod for  4 hours once not even a russian mod comes to help out you dont need to talk English to catch a cheat but thats an asside), you need to make  paid staff do this job the volunteers have to pass their evidence on to paid staff any way for action. If  thats not about money then tanki need an accountant to explain it

 

Don't even get me started on Magnum i will say something i shouldn't.

 

I don't think Magnum is that Overpowered in my opinion, It's hard for me to give you an un-biased opinion because Magnum is my favorite turret.

 

Its always been the same with new guns they are always OP when they first come out so that everyone rushes to get it then when its at good dispersal rates then it gets nerfed this is tankis pattern new paints new guns  or new hulls to counter it.  Now you cant even hit some thing in line of site it has ruined game play end of storey if you cant see that then your living in cloud cookoo land

Do You notice that from overdrive update SANDBOX no one wants to create?

I just ask why is it that trend?

For Island and hill I don't want to ask either?

The common politics is that the rail gun is favored and the big maps is

very often created instead of a small maps.

I loved sandbox because in that game was less lags then in the big maps.

Do something with that?

Smaller maps made it easy to complete daily missions, but at the same time left new players with less active battles to join.

 

When bigger maps were introduced as the main type, they actually helped a lot for all players to find a battle any time of day.

 

We're looking at the current balance and list of maps, and it is possible that more changes will be made in the future.

When bigger maps were introduced as the main type, they actually helped a lot for all players to find a battle any time of day.

 

We're looking at the current balance and list of maps, and it is possible that more changes will be made in the future.

The psychology behind this move is however slightly different most of the really fun maps were put on to pro pass, players will play longer to get   better value for money out of their spending on that pass (cost - reward benefit) and tanki hope you will play longer in game  so eventually you will spend real money on the game, because you become more committed to the game and wish to do well and have more desire to win in battle. Not being able to frequently one becomes frustrated so then does buy with money.

 

Please dont dress it up any other way, my spade is a spade lets not call it something else.

Its also interesting how the complaints section is hidden away so you really have to hunt for it rather than it being on general view for all to see, makes you wonder if you are trying to hide these comments or are ashamed of what people are upset about rather than using these player concerns as positive feed back even if they are said in grumpy off hand ways. Many times players only come here out of sheer frustration to improve the game and you seem to want to smooth over these comments this area should have its own section upfront like ideas and suggestions, thats what they are just said in a different way.

I don't judge how the complaints system was done before me, but it served its purpose well.

 

We will try to create more issue specific topics in the future, to address main concerns, like HTML5, MM, and ODs.

Yes, this is something not brought up often - when they switch to matchmaking they want 10 min battles (Ugh) and 10 vs 10 which means...

All large maps.

Which tend to favor longer-ranged weapons in general. 

 

Will take some extreme effort to get to that Magnum hiding in it's base all the way on the other side.  Good chance you get picked off trying to get there...

wolverine, now that you're legend (congragulations)... tell me, do you see any battles with ranks below field marshal? can you play with your friends below field marshal in regular battles? do you understand what i was talking about a few weeks ago now?

When I look at battles lists I see mostly Legends & Gismos, plus Commanders & Field Marshalls.

Might be some from Brigadier to Marshall, but they would be minority.

i was talking about why i can't wait for matchmaking. I'd like to play with my friends who have ranked up to legend, because i haven't been able to since they did. I'll be able to form battle groups with them and help each other out with missions once again. I really doubt there are any battles at all for you with ranks below fieldmarshal right now.

So it was related to matchmaking and rank-spread for battles created there?

 

I was (and still am) of the opinion that default rank spread should not be very wide.

The wider the spread the more chances for unbalanced games.

Last thing I want is to try and get missions done in MM-battles and end up on a team with way more Marshalls than Legends, while enemy team has a few Marshalls and lots of Legends.

 

Additionally, if rank-spread too wide the lower ranks in the battle will have a much harder time finishing missions. Depending on friends to help you finish missions is not a sustainable method for many players.

 

Players, if they want to "play up" with friends should be able to do this in Custom Battles (where rank-spread will be customizable) which will be available for free.

If one of your team mates constantly tries to flip you for no reason thats simply sabotage. You can record and report them in this section: Game violations Just make sure the video meets the Game Violations Section Rules

I meant enemies are the ones doing that. Tanki needs to improve the hitboxes for hulls so it can be more realistic.

From my opinion tanki is ruined.. when tanki removed the ability to create normal battles and now only admins create battles which is most bad because they only create long range battles which means rail thunder etc.. they dont create island , ping pong like these short normall batles for twins isida..

it is very hard for completing a mission for short range turrets,,,I was going to EU 4 were low ranks come in long range battles and will be easily killed now i cant do that because of all battles in 1 server means everyone will join low ranks battles too also guys see the difference before 90 000 used to be online now 30 000 because of stupid updates keep ruining

How do you think those low ranked players feel about this? I'm fairly certain that they don't like being easy targets, because it will make it much harder for them to play and complete their missions.

Admins do not create battles, an automatic system does that. You bring up a fair point though, not everyone is able to play their favorite map and not all maps are equally suited for all turrets.

i agree but no one wants to commit to a game that lags. and a laggy game means less enjoyment / frustration.  so in making all the changes for the better , they are making the game worse because of lag and in turn reducing amount of people that want to commit funds.

This is happening too many times:

 

I enter a battle, and halfway through it my turret stops doing damage. I can collect boxes, use supplies, kill enemies during mines, but turret does no damage, even with normal green ping and fps.

 

Throughout the remainder of the battle, turret does no damage.

 

Self destructing or going to garage does not help.

 

Then when I quit the battle and join another, the turret starts working just fine.

 

But I have lost a lot of fund because I've had to leave battles halfway in between.

 

And it looks as if you guys have reduced the battle kick time without informing us, because I get a server connection closed message, and Im back in 20 seconds, and find that I am no longer in the battle. More fund lost.

whatever it is, its a fault on their side, and they need to fix it.

 

i will have to ditch this account soon if i keep gaining exp but not crystals.
