Why 8 versus 3 triggers the autofinish and not 8 versus 4? If you remove Finish 1st Missions you can make it so that 8 versus 5 triggers autofinish, that may prevent people from drugging and spawn killing so everyone in the other team leaves and they get the most rewards.

 

Why does Tanki reward the worst players? Have you looked at the player count lately, after all the fancy stuff you implemented you are still losing players?

There are so many times that I fire my Magnum point blank (zero distance) at an enemy tank that I am killed by my splash damage (I know it is normal for a Hornet hull) but the enemy tank has no damage. I asked my friend, who has a Pro pass, to try this with me a couple of times in a private battle. We found that near 50% chance that the "enemy" tank has no damage but the Magnum tank self destructed. Is this a glitch or it is designed is this way? If it is designed then I totally don't understand the reason.

Clean your cache,If it doesn't work follow the instructions below: 

 

1.Uninstall the game client.
2.Go to: %APPDATA%/../Roaming/TankiOnline
3.Delete "Local Store" folder.
4.Re-install the game client

when u hit ur opponent’s tank and u die almost at the same time u ain’t suppose to be able to damage your opponents tank

i mean this happens to me 100% that’s why I said this this even happens when i hit my opponent a split second before they did

This sounds more like a player hacking. You can report those over here.

So, this is definitely not how it's designed. I tested it a couple of times myself and both me and my opponent get destroyed by my shot (and vice versa). I'll report the issue, thanks!

I hate Magnum but I made Magnums selfdestruct by getting close to them, while I get some damage but not killed.

 

That is one of the few things to get back at Magnums.

 

Maybe Magnum is not fixable, only a removal would work but that is close to impossible.

There are glitches that could explain this. There's one glitch where you see yourself shooting, but you don't do any damage and no one else can see your shots. There's also a glitch where you can't interact with anything at all, (supply boxes, etc.). I don't know if this one helps, but one time I was parkouring with a magnum, and he did no self-damage when he shot. He said it was a bug.

 

These are some possible explanations, and if they don't help, then they're still glitches that should be fixed.

 

 

 

Also, just wondering, will HTML5 tanki be better at stopping hackers and glitches? I would like to see some annoying glitches fixed, as well as some improvements in other aspects.

More Gold hackers...

 

Seem like with the container contest you created more "hackers". i just saw the first Gold today and a hacker took it.

 

Why don't you just stop dropping Gold Boxes for a while until you fix that hacking problem where a tank sits on the drop mark and then goes up, and until you fix Dictator too.

 

There was one idea somewhere that someone post, it was about reporting votes that follow you even if you go to other battles then mods can follow them too and catch that player red handed.

It is just a visual bug, players do get their crystals anyway, it just shows as a 0, nothing else.

 

 


Hi i wanna report a serious glich in the new polygon map.

 

so i joined this battle (non pro) with only one player on the other side, and i noticed he can shoot me from everywhere, no matter where i hide he gets to shoot me, its like a blind spote or something, and when i finally managed to see his he was just a simple thunder/mamouth combo.

 

how he could shoot me from all over the map no matter how hard i hide without him even moving, i used viking while he was on a mamouth and he didn't even move the whole battle, he was just standing right when he respawn and shoot me from everywhere !

 

i will record a video and upload it here for you to have a clear view of whats hapening !

 

[update]: i got him on a video where you can see clearly that he can shoot me from behind a wall, i will record more videos about this !

 

This sounds more of like hacking as Cooper said and this sort of hack is mainly used with Thunder, I saw it quite many times where the Thunder just shoots from the place he/she is and hits the direction his/her Turret is facing, it is shooting through walls hack to the best of my knowledge, so recording a video would be the perfect option and posting your video in hereif you ever see such a hack or anything else that looks suspicious to you.

Well this already is in the game and has been in the game for quite some time now, first I would recommend you to start recording a video whenever a Gold Box is about to drop, I mean just start recording when you see the Gold Box notification and if a hacker takes the Gold, you have a proof of him/her using hacks and all you will need is to post your video in here.

 

Secondly, about your last comment, now that we have the ''Game report'' channel in the game, I mean the chat lobby just like the other channels, if you see or encounter a hacker, someone who is multing, etc etc, I mean anything that is related to battle violations, simply post the player's nickname, battle link and the type of violation he/she is doing and one of the Battle_Mods will join the battle, quite useful channel these days and many players use it. So even if you can't record, ask someone else to just post the 3 I mentioned in there and you will be good to go.

 

Now let's say the hacker you saw just took the Gold and left the battle, leaving you no time to record or even report as it was very quick and didn't last long. Still, go to the ''Game report'' channel I mentioned, this time if the player is no longer in the battle, you don't need to post the battle link so just post the player's nickname and say he/she was a hacker, took the Gold or did this and that and Battle_Mods will find the player later on but this is only when the hacker left the battle and only for hackers, don't use it for those who are sabotaging the battle if they leave or already left the battle.

Besides penetration, what was taken away?  And you received more damage as compensation.

 

As a target of shaft, my Viking actually prefers the "old" shaft....

Magnum shells leave a trace in the air - try to learn to spot that. This gives you an idea of where they are and what they aim for.

it is unfair to have a fully charged scope aimed at me even before i materialise and have 3900 health taken from me the moment u do.

 

it is unfair to fight a weapon that see through bushes and has more range and accuracy.

 

magnum. i think you have a problem with us. so its okay when you kill thunders, firebirds, isidas, hammers, freeze etc from across the map when their range cannot reach you but when a magnum kills you its too much? maybe you should stop camping at your base and start running around.

 

shaft is way more overpowered than magnum. why do you think i spend 30 times more time on my m2 shaft than on my m3 magnum? i only started this game less than 1 month after magnum was released.

 

you obviously just want your turret to be the only one thats overpowered. magnum might be overpowered too but even if it is its nowhere near shaft.

My big disagreement with this is that Shaft has its own disadvantages, such as reload, laser sights, etc, but the game was built to handle it. Magnum can shoot over walls, which was never meant to happen, and several other problems. I recognize that tanki will never be perfect. As I said before, I think tanki is making it too easy for noob players. There is fairly little skill involved in Magnum, such as turret turning, and quick reaction because noobs can just sit in a corner and pound the enemy. The biggest problem with it is that, if you change one thing to make it harder, it's suddenly too hard (ex. lowering splash damage), or if you make it better, (higher damage) it's overpowered and hated. Shaft has been part of the game for long enough that it's been gotten used to and had several changes made. Magnum, however, has been in the game for very little time, and hardly changed.

Plus, don't you realize how many shaft users have switched to Magnum and how many more Magnums you see than Shafts?

 

I think that, to make Magnum more fair, there should be a new feature added that will balance it better, kind of like smoky's critical hits. I know there are plenty of those ideas out there, so you can go look. Regardless, Magnum does need to be changed, but I don't know how.

shaft is even easier to use, just put the crosshair on the enemy and let go.. how hard is that..

 

if magnum has to be nerfed then the same should apply to shaft but to an even greater extent.

To put the crosshair on the enemy you actually have to have a line of sight with them- which means they can both see and hit you.

Not to mention that when you are hit with any sort of impact turret at all, your aim gets knocked way off and by that time the enemy has moved.

And, people watch out for Shafts- they make sure not to be in the laser or line of sight.  There is no way to "watch out" for a Magnum.

 

I've played both Shaft and Rail.  Astonishing how easy it is to kill Railguns with Shaft....but also how easy it is to kill Shafts with Railgun.  That's called game balance, and Magnum doesn't have it.
