Well, seeing as matchmaking will be out tomorrow, my recommendation doesn't apply anymore..;p

Let us know whether you can play DM battles to your satisfaction or not with the matchmaking system in the announcement topic though!

well like i posted there , he never mentioned if it was still coming in or not. so will now have to wait and if its not well get ready for a bunch of players leaving ..

Team composition

 

During the development and testing of Matchmaking one question was asked most often: what will be the ideal maximum number of players in battles after Matchmaking is released? In the end, we decided to implement this decision: team battles will be played in 8 v 8 format, and for modes with one side 16 players will be able to join the battle.

 

Matchmaking system is designed in such a way, that battles start only with an equal team composition. This means, that teams will be full from the very start of the battle, and you won’t have to wait for opponents or teammates.

This mean Deathmatch. There is a s at the end of mode. This mean DM and Juggernaut (DM with big boss).

Consequently TO is not removing DM, better, they are adding one more.

You're not being shortchanged, although the assumption is understandable, considering this new system needs some getting used to. The reason your battle score is different from your mission score:  

The score you are seeing in the battle is your battle score, which will depend on how you contribute to the team (and how much fund you'll get), it's different from the experience you're gaining in battle towards your total experience. Missions are based on that experience and in the latest V-LOG they mentioned that experience would increase slower, giving you more time to earn crystals before you rank.

Missions can only be completed by entering Matchmaking battles.

When i log in the game (using browser) first the page remains blank and after about 20-10 secs the loading bar comes up please fix this issue

MM System:

Pros:

-battle fund distributed by how much you do in a battle (though it is easy to mult)

 

Cons:

-you can NOT choose map

-you can NOT choose nor team nor teammates (only if you make a group before)

-you can NOT choose what rank will you play with / against (every battle i entered, i played against a lot of Legends with M4 and alts)

-when a battle ends, you can NOT stay in that battle, you have to join other

-waiting time. If it takes more than 3-4 minutes to join battle, is it really fun to wait just to join losing team* 3 minutes before battle ends and just repeat that over and over and over...

*-no matter how "balanced" teams are, one team will capture a flag in CTF, get more points in CP and so. Those who are in losing team will most probably leave. that team play with 1 player less. it takes a lot of time for someone to replace that player - > unbalanced

-what a beautiful gameplay that Recruit got that registered today, pressed Battle button and entered a battle with a buyer 5 ranks higher with Viking & Ricochet M1.10 (M2). Ya, i am pretty sure Recruit will defeat him :)             also, 2nd Lie vs M3 tanks.

-Balancing team doesn't count supplies -> you have some battles where on one side there are more than 3 buyers and on other side you got not even proper equipment (M0s, M1s...)

-you can NOT see in friend list is your friend in a battle or no. If you want to send an invite to him to join your group, you must be either luck

-Multing was not even often. you could actually make it this way: once you join a single team battle, you got to make a choice - red or blue. why not, if you leave a battle, you can only join the same team or wait X minutes to join opposite team?

 

Also, what's the point of "balanced teams" when they are not balanced (reasons above), and you have to wait several MINUTES!

You are what we call in the USA a "homer." You have some sports writers that their home team never does anything wrong. You defend the undefendable for tanki.. How much free stuff to you get for that?

That would be true if it was a sport team. But it is not a sport team it's an online game business. You have a distort vision of what Tanki is about (or you pretend to).

 

An online game is virtual - it's different from a material game (apart from that both of them are business that would like to prosper and earn money). The first one you pay for an experience - a bit like buying a ticket for a concert at Tanki online, the second you actually buy the whole stadium and replay any gig you want (and paid for) it will not change - it's static. Your Monopoly board game will always stay yours, it will not be changed by the manufacturer, and you play with it until it is not usable.

 

Video games are all the way different they evolve, if the owner/creator decide to modify the experience ... well they can and they sell you a different ticket (a golden ticket would be the premium pass or a bundle) - the show will be different (MM, drone) while the place still stay the same (TankiOnline).

 

Tanki decided that the current experience was not good enough, they shared, 2 years ago, what was coming. If you are still here you misunderstood didn't listen or you kind of still like it.

 

Virtual free stuff (a paint for example, an greenish avatar - check the how to become an helper it's all there) and a real experience in a wonderful team, the possibility to contribute to real project and meeting new interesting people.

because I have been banned for nothing too many times. 30 days twice by Cooper for nothing. Ego is a wonderful thing.

 

They tell you that if someone bothers you to put them on your ignore list. I bother Cooper and does she put me on her ignore list? No she bans me. Tanki does not tell the truth.

We've been over this before. You were banned for some serious chat violations and you've been instructed to contact the Russian chat administrator @GVA in RU forum to find out the details since Russian chat mods banned you. As a forum administrator, I don't deal with chat violations and no EN helper deals with bans given by moderators from other communities. So for the last time, please stop spreading false information and gossip.

Hi. I'm speaking for all EN helpers when I say that we have no authority over helpers from other communities. If they do not answer your pm's, you should contact CM of that community or tech support and pass on your complaints to them.

As long as the issue is within EN community we can sort it out but we have no jurisdiction elsewhere.

Gave up after waiting over 15 freaking minutes. 

Thank you for letting us know the timer issue hasn't been fixed yet. In the meantime my advice to you would be to press 'exit' if the waiting time lasts more than a few minutes and then try again, it should take you to a battle in a lot less time.

This is a conundrum for players and tanki.  Without more players wanting to play those battles, etc....   with matchmaking pushing more and more players to pro battles, match matching wait times will get longer and longer and there will be fewer battles to match up with.  

Remember when tanki would proudly post a graph showing daily playership for the past week?    How is daily playership doing these days?  Just never see "135K players online"  anymore.

You're right, that's definitely a reason for concern. In order for matchmaking to work as intended, it's imperative that enough players use the matchmaking system.

Hello all , i made an a topic called TankiOnline 2014. . . . . where i discused how does game work now and why did they have to remake it when it was perfect , but they closed my topic, there is an answer too , byou can look up for that topis , so why am i writting again ?

Because not only game was more fun in 2014 , but it was smoother and better because there was better frame rate and it wasn't lagging , now because it works on difrent servers and HTML5 it lags , many of my friends left because now this game lags , so thats where i am going , why you have to make it worst , and if you admins read this then please in answer i want to get statistics or links to there to see what was the amount of players on 2014 and now in 2018 , and players submit your answers too , let's help each other and btw , don't close this topic because anyway il make a new one  . . . .

I understand your frustration, but like I said in your first topic - it's simply not possible to bring back the 2014 version of the game. Lags are annoying, but developers are constantly working to optimise the game and improve performance.
