what i'm interested in is why tanki is so interested in restricting its playerbase. currently, the game is getting about a fifth of the attention it had at its peak in 2014-2015, and isn't working toward getting it back at all. every single player for the most part seems to want reasoning behind many of the updates since that time. why did you have to force us to use matchmaking and not just improve it from how it was (the Battle button)? even in the V-LOG, Kasim seems disappointed in the changes he's reading off. take, for example, when the announcement of matchmaking for all non-PRO battles came along. when he had to read off, "That's right; you have to decide. Do you want to complete the missions or play on your own rules?" (1:23 in vlog 171) his tone seemed to subtly change as if he wasn't enthusiastic about what he was saying. since 2015, many more restrictive updates have come, with few adding more new content, but serving us with new crystal packages and focusing more on making buying your way to the top an even more viable option than before.

 

currently, Tanki's interest is exactly equivalent to how it was in May of 2011. the community isn't doing anything to make this happen. maybe, just maybe, it's the fault of the game.

not sure about what others think. but the Rio map for Assault do's not work for one side ,where they have a platform and box's / crates .

 

see what I mean is in the map one side has crates / box's in the way near the ramps , giving less space to move around. in some cases there could be a lest 5 tanks attacking the other team and yet were all on top of each other or blocking each other or  pinned against the box's and can't even move to  reposition to protect the other entrance due to all stuck in one location..

 

either remove box's or remove Rio from Assault battles completely

There is now 2 distinct lobbies, one for Pro battle (with the list of the customised battles and the details of the team + the link of the battle) and one for the MM battles (normal battles). 

* You can join PRO battle anytime (but you need a PRO pass or being part of an in-game clan).

* While in Normal battles you have too use the MM system that will create a battle for you and most a the time you will get to the 10 minutes battle from the start.

Battle button and battle list are not the same thing. MM is an improvement over the Battle button. I'm not talking about the battle list.

if you want to do such things make sure you do it without causing problems... otherwise don't do it at all

That is correct, the rank limit for groups was set to Warrant Officer 1 to reduce abuse with the group feature. In the mean time devs continue to work on improving the group feature, so this rank limit might not be final.

I have some news, it's not a bug. The group function is currently unavailable up to WO1 . This is a temporary solution to reduce abuse of the group function. Developers are working on improving the group system and MMs in general.

In MMS battles, you cannot invite friends. In PRO battles, you do it normally by clicking your friend icon, clicking their name and "invite to battle".

No, you cant follow someone. If you click on their profile you can see their likes, topics and posts.

Can the maps in matchmaking be rotated time to time? Playing the same maps again and again is kinda repetitive and there are plenty of good maps out there that are ideal for 8 v 8 but not being used in MM battles. Also, hasn't this buff on freeze made it a bit too OP? 
And can MM be implemented on no supplies battle  or can default MM battles become no supplies? Drugging is actually ruining the gameplay. The outcome depends on which side has more drugs to use. And any of the events cannot be enjoyed thanks to tanki promoting holiday events only in non pro battles.

There is 24 maps in the MMS (see list below), 24 out of ~77 maps available so roughly ~31 (one map out of 3). In pro battle the choice is far from being that profound.

The supplies is for TO to make money in order to pay for the equipment, the employees and other stuff. Without money there would be no game.

Most maps I just back out of the second I enter. I will not play Brest or other such sniperfest nonsense. So exactly how does that help the game when there are a dozen other maps that lots of people love?

Which other dozen? Brest is perfectly playable, snipers are on both sides anyway and I use Hornet and sometime Viking since I'm all M4 on those. Use 42% protection on Shaft and/or Magnum depending on the opposition. 

You should play challenging map once in a while that will make you sharper.

Every once in a while I will stay in a Brest if I am set up Viking/Rail. That aside, there are lots of other maps I and other players like. That was the point. And the same maps over and over are getting old.

During the whole time since MM started, it has put me in Rio, which I love, twice. It has put me in Highland, (which I also love) maybe 5 times. It has put me in Brest, Barda, Osa (which barda and osa are not toooo bad) 100 times. It has put me in 2042, which I love, twice. I has put me in Industrial Zone maybe 4. I don't understand the disparity. I the map selection is truly random, something is wrong. I don't get to play the 25 maps, I get to play maybe 5 over and over and over. Seriously that sucks.
