For months and months, when I look in the game violations section of the forum, I see many players getting blocked for using clickers, which is described as "exploitation of a software bug in the game."  If it's just a sofware bug, tanki needs to fix it because there's nothing more annoying than joining a parkour battle and finding a bunch of stolen russian accounts laying down literal solid lines of mines because they have their clickers set to about 10 clicks a second.  Tanki also just needs a revamp of the anti-cheat system, considering it doesn't block that many cheats.  I see lots of players using the "ignore tanks" hack as well, where they drive straight through people, making them flip.

In the past battles was 15min and that was so great. Then they created MatchSuckMaking system and reduced it to 10min that reallly disapointed me. And then to 9min and now to 8 min? Really what next ? 5min battle? U cant even cap a flag or have fun or hide and shot tactic or ... Really? Just why? I want to know the reason please.

 

Im sure there is a reason :).

Im sure there is a reason :).

Shorter battles means less time waiting in MMS, blowout battles end more quickly, and it is much easier to get Stars during Star Week, to name a few reasons.

Well, there's another view to this...

 

To accumulate the same score or crystals for mission, you have to play more battles. Maybe I could get mission done in 10 minutes before. Now maybe I can't and it takes two battles.  So 16 minutes instead of 10 minutes.

 

Plus, every new battle you attempt to play has "wasted" time.

- Time trying to get into battle

- time for battle map loading once you have been selected

- time wasted when you are placed in a battle that will end in 3 minutes and don't have a hope of contributing to your mission

- time going to garage to have equipment suit the random map you have been assigned to

- time for teams to orient and actually start playing and build up things like overdrive

 

The more often you try to enter battles, the more wasted time that accumulates.

 

And blow-outs?  As soon as players realize this is going to happen they leave.  Especially during Star-Week events where you have better chance at more stars by being on the team not being blown out.

Man, I really do detest the forced MMS

 

Every week, I get the urge to play, but the moment I'm put on a waiting list and in a map that doesn't suit my play style or I have to change equipment and the battles are super short and aaaaahhhh it just kills it for me.

 

And yes I'm aware PRO battles are a thing

So I've come to the realization that posting on this forum is just screaming into the void. Nothing changes, and all the advice is just "do something yourself". Wait time is too long, quit and rejoin. Firebird is too strong, spend more on crystals. Games are unfair, stick it out and wait for the next one. The Brand new MatchMaking system sucks like a hoover vacuum, get a new game. Thanks Tanki, thanks for treating us like the cash cow/lemmings we evidently are. 

 

 

Also, how hard is it to get everyone to load into a round at once? Jesus christ, how bush league are these programmers that start team rounds before the team is there???  I can't count the number of times I've been in a game where the score has gone 2+ one way or the other before players are even in. Amateur hour.

Played many a battle where other team had at least +2 tanks and ran up the score.  Battle over before all 8 tanks joined my team.

 

Utter trash.

 

Make a Lobby you Developers.  Hold tanks there until 8 vs 8.

So longer waiting times? Your idea would please some players, but others would hate it. MMS is hard to get right.

Unfair battles (8 vs 5, etc) is way, way worse than having to wait another 30-60 seconds to get a decent battle going.

Is there any point in saying how much more work the game has become? Is there any point in saying every recent change seems to be aimed only at pay-to-win?

 

The new missions might be called challenging, but I think a fairer word is work, hard work. The missions now require multiple matches per day to accomplish, every day of the week. Hmm... Making us earn it? Or just making us decide going to our jobs is more fun?

 

There are so many changes right now it is hard to tell if anyone is hacked, or if everyone is hacked. Crap. I thought this was a game, not frenzy of frustration.

I wonder sometimes, what is the use of a forum if none of the devs takes the remarks made in account ?

Lots op people complain about matchmaking and the way rewards are granted (stupid batteries for players without drones, ...), and all they do is think of new paints, minor modifcations to the amount of damage some hulls can do and making a bad system (MM) worse...

Complete 20 daily missons in a week... That's 3 missions a day ! And the missions are getting harder (finish 7 battles, earn 750 XP in DM, ...). Do they want us to play TO all evening ? Or just buy stuff to make our gear better so we can complete the missions easier ?

Reality 1

Tanki has setup the matchmaking system in an interesting way and you WILL be playing against Tanks that are of significant rank advantage i.e M2's against M1's and M3's against M2's.

(And they extended the points at which you rank up so you are going to be playing against them for quite some time)

 

Reality 2

Tanki allows even encourages Tankers to 'power up' all game. 

 

Reality 3

The above 2 'features' combine to ensure that for 99.99% of games, one team will so dominate the game as to make the outcome inevitable and your trying to actually compete, pointless. 

 

Reality 4

Tanki does not care. 

 

But there is sort of an an answer ... 

WHEN you are facing tankers who multiple power up all game who are of significantly higher rank ... simply PAUSE!

Nothing is going to disrupt big time 'druggers' more than having noone to shoot. Practically, short of leaving the game you can't show your displeasure in many other ways.

 

Thoughts ?

While it's definitely true that some battles end up being unbalanced and there are enemies with a much higher rank than you, it doesn't mean that the game intentionally sets you up for failure. Make sure you manage your resources: complete missions, buy supplies during big discounts, don't play too much and think about when to activate your supplies to make the most of them.

 

Also, please do not encourage sabotage in battles. Intentionally pausing the game and being inactive is a violation of game rules and can get you banned.

How does the game not intentionally set you up for failure? I have been playing MM all morning. I have been put into battles that were already 6-0 with all the players but maybe 3 on the losing team gone. I have been in games where 2 mults on my team destroyed any chance we had and we were a very good team without the mults. 

Exactly what proportion of your games are like this?

Has nothing to do with pleasing everyone.  Majority of players will say they want an even shot when the battle starts.

The highest priority in the game should be balanced battles - ie same # players per team.

 

After that, if players want to work harder to get advantage, or buy advantage, that's up to them.

 

But if the core of the game is broken, players will get frustrated and leave.  They already are.

ok I spoke to you about this issue I have been dealing with .. well it happened today. this time i reported it for proof on both ends .seeing when you post a photo , for some odd reason its posting more then one . today its like 5 . it might not show some cause i did delete a few .

I cannot say enough how disgusting it is to enter a hopeless battle and know you will be awarded no stars. (I know, I could instantly leave and be a shameless, faithless coward, but no. I just can't.)

 

The stinking MM stuck me in a battle on the losing team 5-0 Rugby. I quickly assisted my team in getting two goals, but with only 70 points and 4 kills, no stars. Of course, the battle itself was total frustration. Little consolation in knowing I actually helped the team when it amounts to nothing, not even one star.

 

The stars criteria stinks. It is disgusting. Tanki must implement a simple quantitative criteria for players, not teams. Teams are too often unbalanced, and the losing team is ONLY frustrated. It is crap. Stars are crap! Stop it!
