I can live with most of the idiotic designs of this game, but how about at least fixing the problem of timing out without even getting into a battle?

The basic idea behind this "feature" makes sense:

From the moment a player starts to load a battle ( = the box counting your seconds vanishes, and the players sees the green loading bar), from this moment this player _is_ assigned to the battle. He's a listed as participant and occupies a slot in his team. Noone else can be assigned to this slot, which is waiting for him until he's finished loading. If he finishes loading... because maybe his connection is so bad, that it would take him 10min to load.

So there is a timer, that gives each player 2 minutes. If the 2 minutes went by without the player beeing loaded sucessfully into the battle, the players loading is abonded and he may try it again in another battle. His slot is freed up, and open for someone else who likes to join.

 

So.. while this mechanism makes sense in principle, the error message that you receive does not make sense at all :p :p

Even more.. it sounds like a cruel joke, especially if you read it multiple times.

 

So.. sorry for your inconvinience.. I hope that Cedric will report this issue to the developers. It should be a rather small fix, which does something very important: it reduces the annoyances. These days the game is full of those.. be it the missions update or the rather late alteration descrition release, which led to quite some misfitting purchases by the players.

 

Good luck in your battles.. and I hope your connection becomes better.

If it was better in the past, consider the usual cure (clean cache, check for flash updates, ... ... ... )

Perhaps the "basic idea" is good regarding the timeout, but it seems the execution leaves a lot to be desired. We have many examples of bad coding by tanki programmers! As far as I know my connection should be the least of my problems. I have 150 Mbps Up and Down and i am wired with a cat 6 cable to a Gigabit router, so if that is not enough, then I do not know what is! Like I said these type of problems crept up since- what Tanki calls this joke-Matchmaking implementation.  Do you want to see a true matchmaking system? Then head to World of tanks. None of these crappy issues, and the teams are fairly balanced as far as weapons and combos go. But Tanki thinks that we enjoy getting killed by higher ranks ate least 3-4 levels up!

Im complaining about the people who get juggernaut every time they spawn into a battlle. Until today I thought it was always the first person in the battle, but then i was in a battle for about a minute and there was no juggernaut. then the same noob joined that always got it and he was given juggernaut.

What Tanki devs call Matchmaking is really a bad joke of someone who has no clue what Matchmaking really means. Like I said in a previous post, if you want to see a true matchmaking system, although not perfect, head to World of Tanks. At least, there you get dumped in a random battle, on a random map but you always have the same amount of players at the start of the game, everyone enters the game at the SAME time, and there is no more than 1 rank above you.  Unlike Tanki where tHazel-Rah thinks we all like getting killed by one shot from a legend with more powerful weapons. Personally, I never liked matchmaking systems because they take away our personal choice of maps, who to play against, etc.

you know why I gave up on PC WoT despite playing around 7k battles on its sister game, wot blitz? Because if you are bottom tier you're screwed and if you're top tier you have a field day. of course you're bottom tier 90% of the time. TO's MM is far from great, but at least the faults that it has are due to incompetency and are not there BY DESIGN.

you know why I gave up on PC WoT despite playing around 7k battles on its sister game, wot blitz? Because if you are bottom tier you're screwed and if you're top tier you have a field day. of course you're bottom tier 90% of the time. TO's MM is far from great, but at least the faults that it has are due to incompetency and are not there BY DESIGN.

If you look at screenshots from mobile battles results (I saw two somewhere) and look at the GS range of the players you will find clues on what TO is doing in term of players tiers MM. The mobile interface displays more information than the current interface. I'm talking about team battle. 

​For DM, a wide range of rank is not the best, but you can still leave the battle if you don't like it as doing so you would not putting your teammate in danger :) (unlike team battles). So have no remorse to leaves DM and Juggernaut battle early.

Seems to me like you have issue with playing this game. Too many questions or barrier you have and  you seem to overthink a lot for not much ado. Just play the game.

sir please don't say I have issues with this game when others also have the same problems. been playing for over 5 years , I have 3 legend accounts and over 10  accounts . I play from lower ranks to legends . also battle more then 2 hours per day. in the beginning I use to battle 6 to 8 hours and the game, it was amazing . sure it we had issues but not as what is now going on in the battles. in the past we got to make and choose our length of our battles. now the system dictates how long and which ones to go too. I would rather be able to choose my battles in which to going too for my ranks . instead of being taken into selected battles with higher ranks which are nearly impossible to destroy

Are you denying many of the updates adopted recently are just plain terrible?  You can deny this?

WTH. I posted this problem before, but I often keep dealing only 477 damage with shaft (m1), max w/ drugs around 955. I dont know how this is caused, whether it is HTML5 im playing on or some other stupid reason. Im losing many points, kills and rounds because of this and its getting me irritated more and more.

I need help with this issue, because i asked this same question a few weeks ago but i still havent got any good solutions (if i got, please repost). Dealing less than 1000 with a shaft is just painful....

 

 

I tried playing on normal TO (without html5) on Chrome but i screwed up with the settings and now graphics (and FPS) is horribly bad. Now im playing on mozilla with html5, because the normal link doesnt work smh. Someone who knows how to fix this properly (both mozilla & chrome)?

Hello, could you provide screenshots regarding your complaint? Also, are you positive that users aren't using protections against you?

I totally agree with you ! I find it really unpleasant to be with ranks very high compared to our rank. I can not destroy someone during the battles and I fall more and more often against higher ranks than me

Remove Parma and Sandal from the MM rotation.

 

On Parma you have a choice to either go down two corridors without any cover on either side of the map and get obliterated by long range turrets, or just mindlessly brawl it out in the center. Sandal is way too small for 8v8, I have no idea why it was put it in the map pool.

It sometimes happen for me too only once or twice for me. I shoot someone with shaft in-scope he gets the damage of non scope one, the player was without protection and double armour but it happens very few times. There is no max and min damage for shaft. I hope tanki will fix it soon, btw ninja its hard to provide proof cuz it happens rarely and triggers us so bad xD

 

Try using Tanki official client on main page.

Please provide screenshots containing the damage indicator and right thereafter one that shows the protections of the players when you press TAB on your keyboard.

Have you already tried to play with the stand-alone Flash player?

I don't know if this will help you with the damage bug, but it will increase your frame rate a lot compared to HTML5.

hello wasp,

once again, i cant play with standard flash on mozilla, i dont know how. playing with flash on google results in poor game quality, so thats why im "stuck" with html5

The stand-alone Flashplayer that I mentioned, does not make use of the mozilla browser. It uses no browser at all, and exactly therefor it's the single most efficient way to play tanki with a high framerate.

I get even higher framerates with the standalone flashplayer, then with hte tanki client.
