Oh yeah I am sure you need more speed boost and more mines because you do not have enough! I think not!

And why do you not need any more? Because containers give them to you often. If they didnt, I bet you would be complaining that you dont have enough...

i checked tanki after the restart and it said i was banned and i had 17 minutes left. I left when i had about 3 minutes left. That was last night. Its nearly 24 hours later and im banned from the forum still, idk if this is supposed to happen since im new

It sure would be nice to have more maps. It would be even nicer if all the maps weren't messed up for whatever purpose the devs think they need to be fubarred for MM. Polygon MM is reasonable for TDM, and still good for DM, but it is messed up for the other modes, especially assault.

 

Does red ever win in Polygon Assault battles? I suppose it does, but doesn't red need another flag point? Blue holds a well channalized and defensible position. Even a smidgeon of team works assures blue's win. Another flag point seems essential.

 

Please stop tweaking the maps. I used to have most of them memorized. Now I seem to have to relearn every map every few days.

 

Please put in more maps. If we are stuck with a crappy MM system, at least give us some more variety. Also, please keep track of which maps players have played recently and lower their odds for repeating maps close together.

 

It would also be nice if there was a vote up or down button for the map on the battle closeout results screen. The button could apply to raise or lower the odds for the player to repeat that map and provide devs with feedback regarding the general favorableness of each map.

I agree with most of what you are saying. I wanted to comment on "Does red ever win in Polygon Assault battles? I suppose it does..." Yes, I've been in Polygon Assault battles where red has won. But it depends on what kind of players are on red. If you have players playing as a team, then yes, red can win. However, if you have players playing as individuals on a team, then no, the possibility is slim to none.

This remark goes for almost every kind of battle in this game, except for dm, tdm, cp and jug.

Here is why I do not need them

Speed boost:    16,002

Mines:               11,202

DD:                     9,102

DA                      8,589

Repair:                    37

 

As you can see I have enough speed and mines to last a lifetime!  Repair on the other hand, not so much.  Why is that?  Because every other container I open up is either mines or speedboost or a usless paint (that has ZERO value for me) that's it. Believe me I use speedboost quite a bit as my tank is a Titan and I also lay mines every chance I get and still I cannot diminish my supply of them because the containers are so unbalanced.  Like I said, 1 out of 2 containers from my daily missions have either mines or speedboost. Never mind the Daily missions "get 1 flag for 20 speed boost and 15 mines" Totally useless.

You missed the point. You dont need any more because containers give them too you... Of course RKs are going to be rarer, so of course you wont have as many of them. If you dont like what containers give you, dont open them. Simple.

because yo only ever use titan..? change to wasp-freeze and most importnt supply will become speed boost and lest important will be repair... and your disadvantage will become an advantage

I haven't bought any supply kits or any supplies since the first Tanki WAR. That's when I started doing missions and have kept up with them. This is what I have:

RK...2324

DA...6951

DD...5515

SB...11281

Mines...14851

Batteries...1527 (no drones)

 

My main combo is Vulcan with incendiary band/Titan. Because on the incendiary band, I use a lot of RKs. I use more DDs than DAs. When there's a supply box on the ground and I know a teammate is going after it, too, I'll let my teammate pick it up, even if I have a mission for that box. I try to use OD on a teammate without a star. If my teammate has a star and is going after a flag or ball, I will sacrifice my OD on that teammate. However, if I'm being attacked, I will use it on myself. 

 

I don't know why your RKs are so low or why you're not getting them in missions and containers.

why? burning doesn't double with DD... but your overheating will be reduced with DA

I know that. But with DD I can destroy more of the enemy tanks or do more damage before I start to overheat. If I'm paying attention, I'll load a DA when the yellow line disappears. I also have anti-fire protection loaded.

Hahaa I missed the point? I had quite a few thousands of supplies BEFORE containers were introduced by Tanki!  You sound like the idiots who designed this atrocity they call matchmaking! "if you do not want them do not open the containers" Haahhaaaa! That is an idiotic statement. What is the incentive then to play the game and complete the missions if not for the rewards? If the rewards are worthless, then of course we will complain.  And why should repair kits be rare? It is just another supply and all supplies should have an equal chance.  It is not enough that, even in the weekly containers, you get only a 3rd of the repairs as compared to the other supplies, it is disheartening to work hard to complete missions only to get 2 containers that give you 99% of the time useless stuff.  As a matter of fact I just opened up 2 containers that had 125 mines and 1 paint that I will never use. 

You are a newbie here, but once upon a time there were over 60,000 players daily and over 75,000 during holidays and we used to rank up faster and earn more stuff that we could use and only buyers spent crystals on useless paints and XT skins. I do not need either one to enjoy the game.

I do not know either. It is very rare that I would get Repair kits in containers.  As a matter of fact I have seen a pattern where 99% of the time 1 out of 2 containers will have either Mines or Speedboost. Lately, I have noticed that on my other accounts too.

None. If you dont want the rewards, you are not forced to play the missions.

IMO repair kits are better than other supplies. Also, they cost more in the Garage so of course they will be rarer in containers.

Well. I'm out of this discussion, I don't have any answers as to why you're not getting RKs in missions and containers. They are rarer than other supplies because of their demand. I'm not going to go into supply and demand economics here, it can get a bit complicated and I'm not the one to try to teach it to you. This is your homework assignment: Read up on the theories behind supply and demand economics, then you will understand the problem behind the RKs.

Match-maker does not work as intended, and the new missions are way harder plus players finishing mid-week have nothing to play for.

Turrets are more balanced, its less P2W, drugs are easily available, Overdrives are coming out soon, JGR mode is cool, we have more cosmetics (More things for buyers to buy instead of power), you rank up more slowly (more crystal, so more power, an absurd amount of Star Weeks (even if you dont like stars there are still DBFs). Thats all I can think of off the top of my head, but Im sure there have been other good updates since 2014.

      Fire, thunder and smoky are still OP, (they even got BUFFS to make them stronger), devs made missions way too hard and barely increased the drugs received from them (if they did at all), MM places you in battles where I'm fighting people 6 ranks above me, you spend more drugs you will get in star week, JGR is only for people who are good at egogun, modules became overpriced so it's very hard to buy one now, Overdrives have been delayed for 6 months and countng (was supposed to come out in the summer), Drones will be what drugs were in 2014, ASL is just spawncamping the red team, RGB is only for dictators and the game overall has become more buggy and laggy with every "update".

 

Only good thing you mentioned is that there are DBFs during star week. Even then, I'm forced to use Tanki's broken MM system and not no drug Pro battles.

 

 

Don't get me started on the OP alterations.  :angry:

But have the three main offenders been balanced? Nope. Still seeing the same OP firebirds, thunders, and smokies dominating battles like I did in 2016. (maybe railgun too, but it's "usually" the alteration)

Hello tankers. I have a topic of complaint to make here because I have witnessed that some turrets have their sound effects too low.

 

In this topic, I will discuss what needs to be done to properly re-balance the sound effect loudness of each turret. For example, Striker has a very high pitched sound which makes it the loudest turret in Tanki Online when being near to it. In contrast, the hardest to hear of all the turrets noise levels if Freeze. When Striker encounters a Freeze, the sound effect loudness of Freeze is almost impossible to hear, even if you have loudspeakers. My PC has loudspeakers which makes the sounds come out very well, so even with that some turrets have low sound effects.

 

Freeze must have its sound effect loudness made louder, so that it can be properly heard by other players. Even, Firebird and Isida have low sound effects, so when turrets like Vulcan, Striker and other short to long range turrets open fire on them, its covers up the sounds of Freeze, Firebird and Isida.

 

Developers must re-balance the loudness for each turret so that they all have the equal some pitch and balance in their sound effects so that players can hear all the sounds of each turret properly. That will also enable players that makes Parkour videos and Video of the Week contest videos to be able to hear all the sound effects of turrets in Tanki Online properly.
