Unfortunately there is indeed a minimum rank of WO1 to sign in to the RU forum, this is done to prevent spam. Not much you can do about it.

I can see where this is bad for business. A new player might not be able to differentiate between a hack and a good player, and if the game seems too hard from the onset (because of the hackers), then the new player might become disheartened and feel it is not worth their time, effort (and possibly money) to pursue the game any further and just quit. Just like with any other game, it is at the beginner level where they get the most hooks by making it seem deceptively easy. Otherwise, it is just rehashing the same players (alternate accounts) over and over again.

Apparently you now have to be a minimum of WO1 to report a hack violation. So where is someone of my rank supposed to report a hack violation? I have it recorded and all.

You can still send your reports from your high account but you need to write a reason in the report (I can not create a topic by low rank) with the Nickname of that account.

and if you don't have another account you can send it via PM to Me and @Mr_STIFFLER in En Forum.

Kindly refrain from posting any criticism of moderators' actions, as those should be sent to their respective administrator's forum PM.

 

And what is stated in the game rules:

Since last night, Shaft players get removed from battle "for inactivity" while in sniper mode. This dysfunctional feature or bug must be undone as soon as possible. The weapon Shaft (by the way one of the favorites of your paying customers) becomes unusable that way.

Another player said it is two minutes without moving the tank. It has always been these two minutes with other weapons after not moving the tank, which is fine with other weapons, but there used to be a well reasoned exception for Shaft in sniper mode, which appears gone since last night.

In long PRO battles, it happens. And obviously not only to me, as there used to be an exception for exactly this case for all the years. Problem is that now you suddenly and without warning get kicked from long battles with huge battle funds (and the emotional investment that comes with long battles).

I just got kicked out without warning from a PRO battle, a hard fought game which I had played for more than an hour, with much emotional investment and a huge battle fund, for alleged "inactivity" because apparently at one point I was in Shaft sniper mode for two minutes (or probably rather immediately went back into sniper mode after shooting, without moving the hull for two minutes). The removal of this Shaft sniper mode exception from the "inactivity" rule for not moving a hull three days ago was ridiculous, and if the exception is not reinstated, I might well be done with Tanki (after having much fun and spending more than a thousand Euros over several years). Please communicate the issue to the developers, if you have not done this yet.

It has been forwarded. It can certainly become rather inconvenient having to make sure to move every 2 minutes in the heat of a battle. And you're certain this issue started occurring only last week?

I don't know why Tanki cares so little for the players - but clearly that's the case.

Just telling it like it is.

 

Ironically, while Tanki seems to want people to play MORE, they actually implement changes that make people spend more time waiting to play - and wind up playing LESS.

 

I don't know if they just don't care, or they're stupid too.  They don't discuss all the mistakes they make (unless they're so huge they can't ignore them) so it's hard to tell why they're so ineffective.

 

One thing that seems abundantly clear is they have no problem with pushing beta software to production - then if they get thousands of reports of it crashing and burning, they sometimes do something to fix the problem.  Otherwise, not.

 

That's how it was when they first introduced match making.  Everything broke. Then there was that time when containers were dropping non-stop. Match Making II involved cases of waiting FOREVER to get into a game.  So they changed it so after 3 minutes it fails and notifies you of the failure.  (In other words, they didn't really fix the bug, they just made it harder to get embarrassing screen shots of someone waiting 14 days to get into a game...)  Now we've got assault and rugby games that act like you're "in the game" - then time out.  We also have shorter games, so you spend a proportionately longer period waiting.  Top that off with two mission types that are SPECIFICALLY designed just to keep people from leaving games early and you begin to see the mindset.  They don't care about FIXING bad software.  They just want to cover it up.

Solution:

Please remove crystals, premium pass, containers, kits from shop and they should not be available to buy from real money. Instead please add them to buy from crystals (a lot of crystals). Nothing should be available to buy from real money that affects player's game play (such as making him stronger). This way, everyone will need to earn crystals from battles or events. Then they could buy themselves some kits, supplies, turrets, hulls only from crystals!

Everyone will be at same level and Pros will be the ones who play a lot of battles and buy everything from crystals (not from money)

 

You must be thinking "What would we sell then? How we will maintain our business?"

Answer is:

    Sell paints, XT skins, Prime skins, Shot Effects, and much much more things that do not affect player's game play!

 

Please do this to attract more players and regain those who have left for this reason!

First of all, people have been complaining about the game getting P2W since before I got here in 2016. Tanki is never going to remove those from the shop, because many (probably most) buyers dont really care that much about cosmetics. They just want the power. Removing the gameplay affecting items would majorly reduce Tanki's revenue. Oh, and just my two cents: It isnt Pay-to-win, its Pay-to-progress faster. Just about everything a buyer can get, a free player can get with enough grinding. You can even get XTs with the challenges, although they did recently nerf them for free players. Its harder to play for free, but by no means impossible.

Buyers may indeed rank up faster than peers - especially if they have Premium.

However, buyers will also top score-board at each rank as they progress.  They have more of everything = more options.

They don't really have to make the tough decision of MU-ing a newly bought kit or buying another module or drone. They do all three.

 

But I agree the Devs will not remove those items from the shop - that's how they keep the company/game going.

 

Unfortunately, lately they have skewed the balance too much in favor of buyers with many of the new expensive drones and alterations.

Having an m2 smoky/Titan in the Sergeant ranks really is pretty silly.  It's a "men-versus-boys" comparison and just might turn a lot of new players away from the game.

That much is true. There is no defense for it, its just a bad decision on the part of the devs. However, buyers dont have an insta-win button. Any decent free player stands a chance and will often win, depending on luck and other factors. A buyer may be more likely to top the scoreboard vs a free player of equal skill, but it wont always happen.

Let's face it: Alternativa need dollars to keep the game afloat.

 

You might think "Oh, Alternativa only cares for dollars and nothing to their players." No. They need dollars to pay their programmers, artist etc.... And sometime their salaries increases b/c of the living demand increases too.

 

If you really want to bridge the gap between buyers and F2P, here are some ideas:

 

Double the reward earnt when opening a weekly container, i.e Legend gets 3k crystals per that..... after that idea update implemented, he/she gets 6k. (Of course getting 3k crystals from a weekly container is enough for a Legend).

 

Container rewards need to get buffed again.

 

Remove speed-up. This. Is the reason why buyers can get Titan-Smoky M2 within 5 minutes. At Sergeant rank. They are willingly to throw more dollars to spam that speed-up buttons just to gain MASSIVE advantage against weaker opponents. The only exception that speed-up will be used is at the test server.

 

-Yes, they can just login and micro-upgrade and then log off, but they can't gain advantages immediately.

 

Module cost need to revert back to pre-drone update. This of course will render bunch of tankers frustrated because of its would-be-affordable (that one's turret would be underpowered).

 

-To counteract that advantage, we made few module rebalancing ideas such as give an additional module slot but reduce protection percentage provided per module (wolverine hugely supports 40-40-40-30 module idea).

 

Drones. Again. They have to go. Period.

 

M3 kits that are in the garage will have the same unlock rank as the shop. Meaning they will both unlock at Brigadier.

 

That's all the ideas I can throw.

Which is why there are plenty of Game Discussion topics, this particular topic is for urgent complaints on CM level and nothing else. Allowing discussion here makes it difficult and unnecessarily time consuming for mods to separate actual complaints from general discussion in order to forward them to developers.

I have an issue with the most recent update about how turret control works. For example, with Railgun if I put my turret at an angle then press C if I press either Z or X while the turret is turning, the turret stops for a second and then continues. I'm pretty sure it is a result of the recent update and I just wondered whether you could fix this or at least explain why this update was done?
