As a token of apology for today's prolonged maintenance, each player can activate a special mission in the HTML5 or Android version of the game until 22:36 UTC +0 today. Once activated, players can claim their reward within 7 days. The reward of the mission consists of 1 day of premium account.

We only had 2 hours to activate the special mission. It is no longer in my special mission section. Only after activating the special mission can we have 7 days to claim the reward. They should have allowed players to activate the special mission for at least 6hrs.

I understand what happened and yes I also agree with your comment.. this should have had more time on being able to collect it and not only a few hours seeing not everyone is on line at that time..

I checked on 4 accounts that I use .. 2 have it and I was able to claim it . but on my other two it was removed .

its extremely unfair because the people that suffered (could not play) were from UTC 1300hrs to UTC 2036hrs. And the people that benefited from the so called compensation did not suffer the actual outage since only 2hrs were given to collect it. Am I not making sense and am i being unreasonable?

I did not get any premium in my account. But the time 22:36 utc mentioned in announcement was ridiculous because it was 4:00 AM in my country and i was sleeping obviously. They should change this ''activate mission'' thing. They must be aware that there are different time zones everywhere, not everyone gonna get these kind of benefits but due to crashed servers most of us got affected and fall behind completing the missions.

I crashed while in battle recently, however following this I suspect the game thought i was still in battle and even hours later, I cant open game (left loading bar open in background for over an hour), was originally on HTML client when it first crashed, but flash and web browser versions aren't working either.

Dear  Marcus Koffleart ,

This is a game and people join it in different times of the day according to their free time or schedule. To give a compensation with such a small time frame is  considered  unacceptable.

Players should have a  24hour frame to claim, not just 2  hours. It would  have been better if no compensation at all was given  than giving something with such a small timeframe.

i feel damn sad. Do you know how it feels to be the first to report this issue and not get compensation while others who didn't know what happened benefited???

I agree with your opinion, and other CMs agree with it too. 

Unfortunately, we are not those who made this decision but we have already passed our and your feedback.

Remove the self destruction zone in every map (for parkour) 

Its really annoying to do parkour when your constantly self destructing cause your going too high.

please understand the feelings of the players. servers just recovered from a 7.5hr downtime just 7hrs ago. PLUS, many of us were NOT compensated because of the ridiculous 2hr redemption window.

sir you are perfectly correct on this way of thinking.. I was on line before it happened and then when I returned it was then that I noticed the issues. so its hard to say who should get rewards . but in away it should go to all players who's accounts are active , but also given more time in order to claim them..

now saying this when I say active it should be those who have been on line within a certain time line say in the past month . this way like my other accounts which I have not played on for over a month should not reap the rewards .

Got to agree.  Tanki was horrible on this response.  Had to keep checking back all day, got frustrated and came back today to ....NOTHING.

see I don't see it that way due to the fact Marcus might have been doing personal things . so he responded fine, for the staff resolving this issue .you also have to remember it was the weekend and not during the week. making it less staff available to fix the issues.. so basically they did the best that they could .. were lucky it was not like some company's which were down for a week last year .. such as paypal it took them like two weeks when we finally got it up and running . this happened around black Friday sales events..

The Magnum turret is useless for melee and nearly useless for everything else except assisting with a kill or getting lucky and finishing off someone else's target. Splash damage to yourself seems greater than direct hit damage to the opponent. Every time I shoot a tank within splash damage range my tank is destroyed immediately. It is quicker to suicide by shooting a wall with the magnum than hitting the Delete key. One shot and done. That is with my Magnum Mk5-6 and Viking Mk5-6 with full health. The current default setting for elevation angle is useless. I spend too much time resetting my Magnum elevation angle every time I spawn. Default it to 25 or 30 degrees. I usually get destroyed before I can get my magnum reset to 30 degrees. There is no need to have 1 degree increments for adjustment. Maybe 5 degrees. The reload time is much too long. You are a sitting duck after firing. Shot accuracy even with skill is a roll of the dice. It takes 2 or 3 shots to find the range for most targets and rarely does 1 or 2 hits destroy a tank. You carpet bomb an area and hope the enemy doesn't send a tank your way, because you are defenseless.

it takes a little skill to use the magnum well. there are downsides to magnum of course as you've described but it is a powerful weapon.

So you've never used DD?   Or Hornet?   Plenty of magnums using hornet and getting tons of kills.   It's ridiculous how easy they can get kills.

I have been playing Tanki since sometime in 2008. Before the Shaft, Isida, Ricochet, Vulcan, Hammer, Magnum, etc. I have never tried the Magnum with the Hornet. My best hulls are the Viking, Hunter, Dictator and Titan. Franky, I stopped using the Hornet after they rebalanced the hulls and made the Hornet less than it was.The Hornet used to be the best hull in the game. I wasn't happy with some of the changes that were made to the game, so I stopped playing for a couple of years. The focus of the game changed from "Play for Free or Pay to Win" to "Pay to stay relevant". I just got back in a few months ago. There have been some improvements, much less lag, but overall game play isn't as fun as it was and paying to stay relevant is still there to some degree. DD I use frequently and with similar results with the Magnum. Its a whole lot easier to destroy yourself. I find it frustrating to get a direct hit on an enemy wasp that doesn't have double armor and the splash damage destroys my Mk5 Viking and their Wasp is still there. I think they have made the Wasp too OP. I just had my Juggernaut pinned against a wall by a Wasp while we waited for his nuke to go off. Seriously, how can a Wasp do that? The Wasp used to be very fast and very easy to destroy. Now I can barely destroy Mk5 and Mk6 Wasps at all. I have noticed a few Wasps recently that are completely invulnerable to direct hits. Only splash damage counts. As soon as I get my Gauss up to Mk4 I think I will abandon the Magnum.

By your description, i think the wasp had the heavyweight construction augment. Augments are new to the game so it makes the game-play less predictable.
