I usually play late night because of my work schedule and domestic responsibilities. A few times I joined a battle and the chat was in French. Can you say, "Flag behind back building" in French? Or, maybe you can. I am not a multi-linguist, a polyglot, a hyperpolyglot nor a polyglot savant. Not everyone's brain is naturally wired that way. It has absolutely nothing to do with babies.

Here there's almost everything you'll need to know to communicate well enough in this game.

 

Just spend 15 minutes everyday memorizing it, you'll take 3 weeks at most to remember everything.

Its like this in every country i go to. The people speak english or french but refuse to because they want me to know that in their country i have to use their language.

 

Actually even in my country people here refuse to speak english to foreighners even though they can speak english.

I kind of get the visiting country part - not necessarily nice but I can understand it.

 

But in these TEAM battles - is it not in your best interest to communicate with team-mates if possible?

Plus - when entering a battle your not visiting their country - at very least it is "neutral" territory.

 

There were certainly less communication issues when we had servers based on language.

I'd prefer fewer battles where-in I can communicate effectively with team-mates.

Besides after reading the link provided.  And, reading the "Common Phrases".  My question is ... WHO really talks this way during the course of battle?  Some of the statements were downright absurd.  

 

Now I think what would be a much better means of communication and could be deployed at the smaller ranks.  Pre-written select a message.  This way the message could be translated when it goes out to the other players.  

 

Just food for thought.

I don't think it matters if anyone talks like that or not.. As long as they can understand you it should work. Actually i have asked for common slangs and actual common phrases to be added but some mod didnt think it was a good idea.

Go figure...  If it makes sense and has practical applications.  Well, TO will avoid it like the plague.  I have made several complaints in regards to the game an even offered up solutions.  Zilch, nada, nothing...  I mean really.  As a player, I have a vested interest in the continued success and longevity of the game.  However, I am by no uncertain measure required to stay in a game that seems from time to time that the developers are working tirelessly to push players away.

What you asked for in that topic were phrases for normal conversations, not for game terms you'd be using to talk battle strategy with your team. Since battles aren't meant for chit chat and since most EN players see the EN lobby chats, that moderator had valid reasons to conclude that such didn't really need to be added. That topic's purpose is to make it possible to be able to communicate with Russian players in your team during battle.

If you have any suggestions for useful phrases/terms that could be used during battle, please share them in that topic.

Those pre-written messages would be great. The good news is that such a feature is planned, the bad news is that it definitely won't come before the matchmaking system is out.

I tested it myself. Russians are more likely to listen to you if you talk with slangs.

 

For example, if i say "that freeze defending is very annoying, make sure that horseraddish is dead when i go in to take the flag!" people are a lot more likely to listen.

 

When you speak broken russian.. Its better to use slangs so they get the feeling you just don't have time to write correctly.. Just plain broken russian makes you look like a fool. For them, anyone not russian in this game is a foreigner, the less you behave like one the better.

Your reasoning makes sense, but it would be a little reductive to base a solid conclusion on your personal observation only. I personally haven't had any issues communicating with Russians in my extremely limited and broken Russian when it comes to battling. And it's not like they don't want to try and win just because your Russian is bad.

been having issues since this rugby and assault mission came in.. see I get both battles and then when I go to change it I get another similar style of battle which I end up having to change some times over 6 times or more just to get a battle mission I can do . please get this changed to have it balanced for players . if your giving us a assault mode then also give us a drug battle this way we can do one or the other or even both.. mainly when players have missions 99999 to do..

 

also after you hit the shift bar to active the free drug system the space bar for shooting if your holding it down wont work , what you end up having to do is remove your finger off it and then place it back down to reactivate it . leaving you in a frozen state for a few seconds before it starts to shoot again. this is on the Ricochet turret . not sure if this is on any other turret.

this is getting really annoying now, I've been reporting this problem since servers merge update. i keep losing connection while playing important battles and when i refresh it takes me to battle lobby not to the battle i was playing. i lost my time and in the end i get nothing back. there's no point of introducing new contest and new modes if you developers can't fix this small issue.

it happened again few minutes ago, i am so done with this stupid game.  :angry:

 

 

 

Refreshed the game and i am outside of the battle i was playing, had 2.5+ score and gets nothing for it.

 

 

 

of course it's takes time to fix these issues because you don't get any money for fixing these issue. yeah keep releasing horrible animated paints.

There is a seriously annoying glitch. Ghost tanks are able to carry flags with them when they die with flag!

The administrators have been informed already. This same problem occurs in Rugby mode. Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

When everyone is crying for a Magnum Nerf, CTF flag glitch to be fixed, or some pretty epic ideas in the forum...

 

the best idea they can come up to focus on right now is to get rid of battle notifications and to fix engine sounds for different hulls (the latter, yes, i know was requested by one of us)

 

Makes me think that the devs are too lazy to implement changes that take legitimate time, because honestly, although I am not a master programmer, I know it doesn't take weeks to get rid of battle notifications or to change engine sounds. 

 

Updates that players don't get angry at are the ones where it doesn't get rid of an old concept but it adds on more to the game. 

 

My suggestion, listen to the community and spend some time on major updates that add on lots of content to the game without deleting previous versions of the game and make quick-fixes to Magnum and other glitches.

please change the system

 

today having to change my missions three times to be able to get one that can be done..I'm sick of the rugby mode or the assault in the missions so many times remove them so there balanced out with others ..I'm wasting my crystals on having to change them ..been having this issue since you implemented Rugby and assault modes , some days I can change it up to 6 times..

the number of mines i used on my profile has decreased. last year i used 6006 and then my friend used about 200 more on my account but now it shows only 5000+ i have been trying to complete the achievement recreating the lunar surface for a long time, i hope to get my mine count back to what its supposed to be.
