WHAT THE FUNK is up with these horrible map rotations?   Please put some of the old maps back into rotation!   

 

Deathtrack

Esplanade

Kolhoz

Madness ( After you get done putting the floor back in it )

Monte Carlo

Skylark

Stadium

Subway

 

 

Mix it up a little bit more.  IT cant be that hard, you all seem somewhat capable of making such an easy change.

 

And while on the subject, who's brain fart was it to take the floor out of Madness?

 

Such good maps that people really enjoyed.

 

Also, I have noticed that when it "Russian Playtime"  there is a lot more variety of maps.   When its "USA Playtime" we have maybe 10 CTF maps to choose from but its 4 of one map 3 of another and the rest are maps that NO ONE wants to play.   Your servers ability to auto-generate maps seems to be selective to what time of the day it is.

 

One final note, I play quite often with a friend from Russia and we both built the exact same tank.

Viking M4 / Rico M4 / no protection modules and we even used the same paints and no turret alts. We parked and shot at each other, aiming at the same spot as one another and counted how many shots it took to kill each other.  It takes me 9 shots to kill him whereas it takes him 6 to kill me.   I presume this is because since this is a Russian based game that it favors the home field players?  He wasn't sure either. Can you shine some light on this?

Just play the game... I don't see anything wrong with the current map list.

 

The way that the server decides when to create a new battle is when a player pushes the Battle button. If there are few or no good battles to put the person in, it will create a new one. If nobody presses the Battle button, nothing will happen. Try playing at a different time, like at 8:00 - 12:00 UTC. Plenty of battles at that time.

 

Madness' floor was removed because - primarily - 80% of the game was jumping off an edge only to land flipped. Plus, the game was essentially decided by who managed to escape the wrath of the wacky anti-cheat system that they didn't have time to fix because of HTML5 and other concerns, like turrets and alterations.

 

As for your test, try it again while pushing each others' tank so that you will never miss to stabilise all the variables. Plus, each shot deals a random amount of damage. Test it.

Would like your post if not for that Russian bias conspiracy theory .

I'm not saying there is any conspiracy...I just am curious as to why things work differently from one part of the day to the next. And why my tank against my friend exact tank dies with less shots. I don't give a flip who you are or where you are from, I am asking sincere questions about the mechanics of the game, the functionality of the servers map selection and will we ever see some of the old parked maps brought back into rotation.

 

I KNOW that more Russians play the game and that's great! But when you look at the variety of maps in ALL of the modes there are FAR MORE choices than any other time of the day,

Ok, I appreciate your quick response, and almost everything you said except for "Just play the game... I don't see anything wrong with the current map list." And in response I say GOOD FOR YOU! at your rank I am certain you are pleased. But others who have been around a while would like to see some more of the older maps back in rotation.

It certainly felt implied. Battles are created randomly - and while it might seems like there is more variety at certain times of the day, that is the product of chance, which can make less believable things happen. And there are generally more battles at times that Russians play, simply because they make up the majority of players, which can make it seem like there is more variety. Regarding your Rico test, I have no idea what to say, but I would far more readily believe there was a problem with the test than regional bias. 

 

Regarding maps, at some point in the future matchmaking will come out. I presume that the battle list for MM will be limited just like it is now, however, there will also be a battle list where anyone will be able to make and join PRO battles for free. The only drawback of these PRO battles will be the inability to complete missions in them. 

 

They buy everything way cheaper than us.

 

They have better sales than us.

 

The mods are biased toward them.

 

Admin is biased toward them.

American payment systems take a larger percentage of the payment for themselves than RU ones. The result is that in order to earn the same revenue on shop items the game charges more than RU. If you spent some time on RU forum I think you'd form the opposite opinion about mods. They are generally jerks compared to EN ones and tend to aggressively argue with players a lot. There are some EN mods/admins like that too but there are fewer.

So is there any chance for a sooner than later comeback for some of the maps I have mentioned?  And thanks again for answer to my questions.

It's hard to tell, but it does not seem to be a priority for the devs at the moment. MM was tested on the live servers August of last year and there was little mention of it since. The main focus right now is the HTML5 version of the game, and we are told that everything major will follow after it.

Could someone tell the devs or whoever is in charge that the moronic system of creating non-pro battles just has to stop.

 

I play day after day - same exact maps - not enough maps - not enough games - every game full and I can't get in a decent game.

 

And why are there so few maps? I used to see lots of the other good maps that you never see anymore.

 

We need to be able to create our own non-pro battles  or the system needs to create more battles and more variety of maps..

 

Somehow the devs could find a way to fix something in this game. Just toss us a little bone, anything, for the players who make your money for you.

I'm with you on this. It is beyond boring to see the same maps all the time. To make matters worse my pro pass has just expired.

During off-peak times the map selection is horrible - just absolute garbage.

12-15 normal battles going and you are likely to see at 2-3 maps in there 2-3 times each.

Same-old-same old.

 

The programming should be set up so that a map does not get repeated through the "Battle Button" - a different map should be selected by that button to provide variety.

I think the fact that I'm a low rank doesn't change the fact that I've followed the game since launch. Maybe not playing the entire time, but I've definitely known the game better than a lot of Legends. I have plenty of accounts that I play on, so rank doesn't really mean much to me. I remember the sting of Moon Silence's removal. I remember parkouring with funky Rico mechanics. Best of all, I remember when people just accepted the game as it was. You rarely saw people complaining as much as they do now. Tanki's community (not pointing fingers at anyone) has definitely dropped since ~2015. 

 

I'm not saying that I wouldn't love some maps to be added to the Battle list. Of course I want to be able to do missions and normal battles in old maps. But the Battle list is what it is. For me, I just play in PROs except for missions. Maybe you should do the same.

Sure, we can all get used to changes. I eventually got used to the removal of battle creation, which in my opinion was the worst update of all time (even though that does not mean I like it). But just sucking it up is not the right attitude in my opinion, if we want anything to change for the better.

It is and has been an a outrage that Colonials like me have to battle with or against Generalissimo and Marshal ranks, a very deeply thought of concern has appeared that Tanki battles have become less skilled and much more of a annoyance because of higher ranked drugers. I have given some thought that we should go back to old rank system in battles giving that the last update has scrambled and widened the rank system. Acknowledging that this idea might not be approved, i must ask that for the sake of the game please listen on this thought.

 

Recruits can battle and only battle with other recruits

 

Once going up the ranks the addition of other ranks the game should balance the weight of ranks and tank variations such as the rank of your tank vs the Marks you own. If you join such battles that have M1s in it but have a higher rank do not let the tables be flipped.

 

An Addition for this system is of course adding one or so ranks to the higher level you are giving variation does help but adding to much kills it.

 

And finally the makers of battles should lessen the rank ban to help cool down noobs and op players from join giving if the battle should be balanced rather than ruined

How do you propose this would this offer any benefit over the upcoming matchmaking system which is very much into development?

When are these people going to fix this broken weapon that takes exactly no skill to use?

 

People using it like Thunder, attackers in ASL camping with it rather than actually helping the team, players sitting behind a wall of Isidas and mines shelling the friendly spawn area...

 

I was in a Highland CTF game where 2/3 of the enemy team were using Magnum. I died every time I spawned, it was that stupid.

 

Buy Magnum protection you say? All the Magnum modules are not worth the crystals, because the other two protections (jn most cases) are useless.

 

Please please please fix it!

Matchmaking

 

Lets see.... so far no progress has been made.... in fact i have been waiting a long time since the future "Matchmaking" to come into play but after some update i have seen no helpful additions to making balanced battles since 2015. Actually they tested the random picking for battles and i found it rather trashy...

 

 I would suggest that the Adim. should hear me out on the subject... its would perfectly be notable that they would use their heads and look and review player profiles in a system that measures the usage of drugs and the rank of the player with their weapons yet alone with the several maps that they like to play on. 

 

I would not be asking for to much programming to go into this, yet tanki still hasn't made this a breakthrough... 

 

Some of the players have and shared my concerns with the current matchmaking....I would like to make myself crystal clear their will not be less complaints if Tanki keeps implementing these updates that have open up ranks that can battle with others, this of course has made battles rather tricky to find and stay in without rage quitting... I find ever since they improvised and thought ****ing around with ranks was a good idea. Its just made a 100k player game to a mere 31k player game... i have not seen improvements actually i have seen disimprovemnets.. I will not even being with the fact some of the Forum Adim. are corrupt and use there power to quite those who freely want a say... 

 

I feel as if history has repeated its self and i do understand... Like wise i will be posting more.

Bet they still haven't introduced magnum / shaft / rail module - you know a long-range module that makes perfect sense?

Okay, this is getting annoying. I sent an email to myself last night with my number of kills: 16438. That was after I had made ~12 kills after server restart. I currently have ~16640 kills, and I haven't parkoured for the entire day, so no, that's not the reason. Yet, the war site insists that I haven't made the 200 kills, and I'm stuck at 2/4 turns. Come on guys.

Not only the forum is slow but also the game has some new glitches:

1. the parachutes of the supplies just hang in the air if you get the box before it hits the ground

2. I cannot turn my turret using the mouse controls. I enter the game just fine and after a minute of playing time the mouse controls work only to fire the turret but not to turn it.  I did not have this problem today until AFTER the restart. Hmmmmm, what are the developers doing now? By the way, I tried this on 4 different accounts and they all have the same problem. I am using either Internet Explorer or Firefox because of the mouse controls and I did not have these problems until today's restart.
