Marshal Ricosk was just in a DM with all multilevel Legends, including hikmet_supermen (Legend 69). Of the top six spots, only hikmet with a Rail wasn't using short range (Freezes were the top two spots).

 

I'm not complaining about my M3.17 equipment (Dictator-Ricochet) against such players. That's life. I am where I am, they are where they are. (It is DM, so MM doesn't hurt it, but it does seem the MM shouldn't drop a Marshal into battle against a Legend 69. Still, that is a tradeoff I'm willing to accept. Wait time is more of a bummer than playing against overly worthy opponents.)

 

I'm complaining about DM only working for Firebird and Freeze. Sure, a guy with several thousand hours experience can use a Railgun to accomplish fourth place and a high K/D, and a Legend 3 had a respectable showing with Viking-Ricochet. (Rico is OP, but Freeze and Firebird make it look like a chump most of the time.) A couple of Hammers had fair showings.

 

Some are noticing that the turrets have been beefed and beefed. The hulls were reduced to three and haven't been updated since (What was it, 18 months ago, a little more?) We can pick any three protections we want, but we face eight to ten different turrets (most of which are stronger than they were 18 months ago) in any given DM. Even in this battle with multilevel Legends, I saw only a couple of 50% protections, most had no protection against Ricochet, and those who did had less than 35%. It is because most of us aren't willing to outlay significant cash for this game, and protections cost 1.25 million crystals if we do it slow, and three times that if we do it fast. It sure looks to me like most won't do it.

 

The short range turrets are all overpowered. Seriously experienced players are using them to very good effect.

 

I point out the very high level of experience to indicate the best players are using the short range turrets. They have full M4 garages. They can use any turret. They are choosing Freeze and Firebird. Those are the strongest turrets right now, and balance needs to be restored.

 

Regarding cash for the game, I buy a little. I've "contributed" at the level of $100 to $150 per year (USD, of course, mostly at Christmas), but that doesn't buy millions of crystals for boosting protections to full strength. I'm all for Tanki being a financially successful endeavor, but I won't be one who supports at that sort of level. It isn't worth it.

 

It would be nice to have seven unique hulls again, with some serious speed on the small ones. And the Mammoth should be a high-hit-point, stable slug, not a reasonably accomplished melee fighter when the speed boost is activated.

 

We truly need more than three protection modules.

ha ha so true .. MM system is not working that good for most players . I'm not impressed with Rico not being updated . and also fire and freeze still way to strong

MM needs fixed.

 

Ricochet has always been one of the strongest turrets in the game, not because it is OP, but because it is so effective. Poor players become effective. Mediocre players become fair/respectable (some say lucky), and good Rico players are hard to fight no matter the turret or protection. In solo 1v1, Rico is going to win the majority of contests against any other equipment. (Assuming approximately equally skilled players and the map isn't so large that a long range turret has a distinct advantage.)

 

The bounce is the key.

 

I've several times suggested bounces reduce the shot power, very little at first, but more with each bounce. However, I noticed a suggestion that Rico get a bonus for bouncing. It occurs to me that it would be an incentive for players to develop skill with bounce.

 

What I think should happen with bounce is a 2-3% increase in damage for one bounce, and a 5-8% increase for the second bounce, but then 10% decrease for each bounce after. This effect would encourage players to get good at shooting corners and walls, but would discourage sitting at the end of a tunnel and blasting away while the balls bounce between walls. There is already the decrease with distance, and multiple bounces increases distance rapidly.

Really, I dont think this should be a priority. Fixes to MMS and releasing new overdrives are more important IMO. Its not like the floating mines alter gameplay or cause problems, they are just like normal mines, just whatever is underneath them is invisible.

Ohh yes they are, the invisible polygons are super annoying when you use Shaft. The roofs from the houses in Kungur look normal but they have an impenetrable forcefield around them, making your absolute hit an absolute miss. They can make detailed polygon layout for tanks but not a static simple object... The same counts for the relic pre 1.100 graphics Titan/Firebird wreckage in Desert; the issue has been here for as long as I remember.

 

I don't understand why it's taking 7 years to notice or to fix, like... the solution is clearly ready considering how detailed the surface of hulls and turrets are designed, and they are moving objects!

It's a pain for rail gun too. Also for other turret but it is less obvious. A couple of polygons are not going to add lag or lower FPS.

Well yeah, the hitboxes on houses and those dead tanks, but you just have to learn where the invisible barriers are. The only issues that I find annoying regarding those polygons is the random blocks in Massacre. Remember that making the houses more realistic would put more strain on the fossilized servers, causing more lag...

Marshal Ricosck had another DM with high level Legends. Firebird and Ricochet made up the top ten except for a pair of Magnums working together. They managed 2nd and 3rd. Impressive, but working together provides a significant advantage.

 

Guess who got first? Short range. Not even Freeze or Firebird, but a stinking Isida!

 

It is insulting to have Isida in DM.

 

Besides, the stench is hazardous.

Lol, I distain myself right (being a non-Russian person). You clearly through your thoughts with no idea on how the system works and benefit everybody. You don't know the limit and objective of the helpers team and you clearly do not know where the boundaries are. 

I can't blame you as it is not clearly explained, but you should listen and avoid mixing everything to prove a point. 

2 communities of helpers, different options and opportunities proposed by TO for the Helpers to deals with the different levels of rules breaking.

There is the strong approach with banning and the more educational one with using the ignore tool.

just to add to our pain in battles . what about your driving along and then come to a complete stop . this happens a lot still when on a bridge or going up and down hills. also add to more of this been noticing sometimes with rico , I'm shooting then out of the blue it stops then restarts up again. leaving one or two shots a miss. I even still have my finger on the space bar . so the maps still need repairs .

5.1. The User has the right to report violations of the Game Rules by creating a new forum topic in the Violations section. It is necessary to specify the nature of the violation clearly in the new topic and attach a chat screenshot or a video which clearly shows the violation.

 

This forms a legally binding contract between agent and principal of agent by your own contract writen by agent or principal of agent, if you are not even bothered to  adhear to your own contract, you are in breach of it 

 

Now if you would like to talk contract law lets begin shall we ?

You can report all the violation there with no problem, make sure you provides all the evidence. The answer to your report will be then treated depending of the violation level. Don't be surprised by the answer regarding insult and stuff alike.

If modules are used, Ricco will lose to Titan / Twins every battle.

 

The Ricco runs out of energy before it can kill the Titan. 

But as we all know, twins never runs out - just keeps firing and firing and firing...

 

What's wrong with Ricco sitting at end of tunnel and shooting?  It's smart strategy.

Ricco can't do it forever, like a Twins and how many maps have Tunnels?

The battles are no longer grouped together by the map. It really isnt much of a problem if you can read, since they added the map name in addition to the map nickname.

 

fix the pro battles list  :angry: it takes at least 5-10 minutes to find a battle. it was fine before but you noobs had to ruin it for everyone.  :angry:  :angry:

Its less convincing when you exaggerate that much.

i didn't exaggerate anything. maybe if you spend your time playing the game instead of spending it on forum you would understand the struggle to find a battle which suit your play style. lets say i play BP all the time on certain maps, now i have to click on every battle to see if it's a format battle or not.

And this takes you 5-10 minutes? Pu-leez. And for the record, I do play BP on Sandbox, more than anything else.

 

EDIT: You dont have to click on the name. If its a format battle, there is a cup next to it. If not, there is a star.

what you guys thinking you don't have any sense .

 

seriously i am totally disappointed. also they blocked my previous major account since i raised voice against their unfair rules and practice.

 

do whatever you want to do ....but i will not give any penny to your game you can take bowl and sit alongside road for begging money.

 

same on you people you killed my precise time

You need to reinstate the chat violation section as this forms part of the contract and process to report chat violations

We've been over this for more than a year now, as explained here and in numerous other topics on the forum, like here. Players have been taught to use in-game options to block players who bother them or disable the chat completely, to customize their playing experience and set options to their liking and it's been a good experience so far - the system works. No one is forced to read what other people write nor to get into a fight with anyone, with few simple clicks. 

 

Now kindly read suggested topics and if you have any further complaints, you can address them to me privately. Thank you.

You have to weigh these things up. I earnt 153 stars which I felt was a large investment of time. For that I got 125 RK, 125 DD and 10 gold boxes. You did double the amount of stars which to me is too much. Your eyes must be sore right?
