Have Crisis drone been nerfed ?

Hello, 

 

Since our beloved mods are too slow to answer question in the chat I decided to make a post here. I owned Crisis drone(7/20 upgrade) with batteries it increases the effect of one supply while disabling others, however, without batteries I was able to use multiple supplies at one time without dealing with cooldown whatsoever. Now, I can't do it without batteries and I'm subject to cool down effect. Was it nerfed ? Because Yesterday it was fine but today I can't which is slightly annoying because I got used to no being subject to cooldown. Can someone fill me in??

I just confirmed — this was an unintentional feature and a recent hot-fix update removed this ability. Developers cannot guarantee stable performance of undocumented features, so if a feature is not listed in any official description of the item, then it shouldn't exist.

I don't own Crisis drone so I don't know much about it, but I do know that all drones require Batteries to work. which is why I don't get what you mean by "Crisis drone(7/20 upgrade) with batteries it increases the effect of one supply while disabling others, however, without batteries I was able to use multiple supplies at one time without dealing with cooldown whatsoever."

There hasn't been a Patch Update yet, you can follow the Web Version Patch Notes and the Mobile Version Patch Notes to know if there is a patch update.

(I could be wrong so if you have more knowledge on the Crisis drone and believe I am, in fact wrong, then please post a better answer)

That's the thing I loved about this drone you still had advantage even without batteries. When I respawn or start the game I was able to use speed boost, double damage and shield at once and at any time in the game without worrying about the cooldown effect or having batteries. That was the cool thing about it and now I can't.

Instantly charges up bro. I understand the unfair advantage but why give it a green light in the first place and now change it up after a month and so

May i know for how long this has been going on and would you happen to have any Video evidence or even screenshots of three supplies being activate while having the crisis drone equipped? Exactly. Unfortunately no because I thought that was  the norm for those who have the Crisis drone and it was like that ever since I got it from ultra container on Tanki's birthday, it's only today I can't use that advantage. If there's anyway our coders and devs can access my account history and check for themselves you'd see ? I can't believe I'm the only one who had that advantage I'm pretty sure other drone users experienced that.

I investigated a bit and found out that the «Crisis» Drone does not require batteries to work and also that it can only boost up the power/effect of one supply at a moment while disabling other supplies and instantly charges them (the other 2 supplies) up, which makes you be able to switch between supplies at the right moment (again, you can only keep one supply activated if you're using the «Crisis» drone but can switch whenever you want to). 

So overall you don't have to spend batteries (This video helped me.) to activate your drone, The «Crisis» drone does not have a reload time, i.e. it’s effect works permanently (About Crisis Drone). And you can't use all 3 supplies at once, if it did/does happen to you then there's a chance it could be a bug so please provide a screenshot or some sort of an evidence so that a Moderator can report this problem to the Developers.

Ughhhh man that sucks, I had strong feeling it was a bug but it lasted for more than a month and I assumed is normal even my friend was surprised and wanted to purchase it for that very reason. I should have recorded it in hindsight

lol, you got lucky. Drones have to use batteries to be able to perform their magic. No battery = no magic, and that is that. Be thankful to have been able to use it without burning batteries till the fix.

you can only use one supply at a time while using the crisis drone without cool down, so I assume it's a bug.

Not sure or at least I didn't see anyone's battery being consumed while they used this drone.
It could've also been the "Bug" because I didn't see anything about batteries not being consumed in any Official topics.
