SuperNick95: A Legendary Admin

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hi, welcome to our daily interview. Today we have a special guest that accepted to be interviewed, a head administrator that we all love (don't we love all head administrators? We do!). Thank you @SuperNick95 for accepting this interview. Let's directly start with questions, shall we?

sabry1.png Hello Supernick, how are you?

Csadmin.png  Supernick95: Hi, I'm fine thanks, and you?

sabry1.png I am fine thanks, when did you become eSport administrator?

Csadmin.png SuperNick95: I was eSports admin in 2014. After leaving the game for a period, I came back in 2017 and became eSports admin in 2019 once again.

sabry1.png When did you start playing Tanki Online?

Csadmin.png SuperNick95: I started waaaaaaay back, in 2011. The game was completely different back then: graphics, mechanics, equipment, maps, everything.

sabry1.png When did you become eSports helper and for which group?

Csadmin.png SuperNick95: My journey as an eSports helper began in 2013. I was forum moderator at the time and I started taking care of the clans section in the forum. I had experience as a clan player and I had already played some tournaments and events. I began taking care of clan topics, which then evolved to a tournament organizer position.

sabry1.png Have you ever been in a team? which?

Csadmin.pngSuperNick95: None of the currently active teams.

sabry1.png How did you feel when you first played for eSports?

Csadmin.png SuperNick95: I don't remember a particular moment when I started playing eSports, like one day I was not playing it, and the next day yes. I got interested in XP battles because I was bored with the other game modes, and I realized that in XP it was really a matter of skills. After a while of playing XP, I found out that tournaments existed and I started taking part in them. I tried rico and thunder solo tournaments and after that I joined a clan. The feeling was great: playing for an organised team, talking to friends, training's, and incredibly exciting fights. In eSports I found a part of the game that I did not know before.

sabry1.png Have you ever had difficult moments with your team?

Csadmin.png SuperNick95: Losing a tournament is never a good feeling. You try to blame others, you point at your team mates and think that it's their responsibility for not playing good enough or losing flags. Sometimes you get stressed because external factors such as lags may also contribute. But in the end they are still your mates and everything is worked out, you begin training again and in the next tournament you take another chance!

sabry1.png Have you helped Marcus to make the tankisport website?

Csadmin.png SuperNick95: No, I don't have experience with programming or coding websites. @Marcus however is very skilled and what he has done for eSports and the community is outstanding. The website greatly helped us track down and remove most of cheats in eSports, making it much more fair. Additionally it allowed eSports to be better organised, more transparent towards players and more easy to manage. The creation of tankisport was a big step forward in the development of eSports and the community.

sabry1.png Do you have something else to add for our readers?

Csadmin.png SuperNick95: If you are already into eSports, good. If you are not, what are you waiting for?

sabry1.png As an administrator do you have a message to give to the community?

Csadmin.png SuperNick95: As an administrator of this community I urge everyone to play fairly and correctly behave. A lot of players have their families and friends in Tanki and in Tanki they feel like they are at home. In the end, we are simply a bunch of people who like games and like blowing up tanks. But let's not forget that other tanks are driven by people too and we should always respect them

sabry1.png Thanks for accepting this interview ?

Well, that's it for today's article. It's been enjoyable talking with SuperNick about his past, and it's been enlightening to hear a bit about what it's like being a Helper. I hope you all enjoyed reading, and goodbye for now!

Amazing interview indeed. SuperNick is one of the administrators whom we don't know much about but reading this interview has helped us realize how important his contributions are to the team. I definitely learned a lot of things from this interview. I for one did not know that Marcus helped in the creation of tanki sport website so that was a fun fact for me!

Spoiler
  • Always give space after a comma (,) and a full stop (.).
  • Give a line space after every question, so its like this:
    • Question 1
    • Answer 1
    • (space)
    • Question 2
    • Answer 2
    • (space) etc.
  • Some minor grammar fixes and rephrasing.

I can not emphasis on how much you have improved in the past following weeks! You have incredibly shown us and all the readers that dedication, hard work and effort takes you a long way. There are still many areas that need fixing, but I am sure that by the start of next year, you will be excellent in the art of writing. Keep it up!

Nice article!

Since I am an eSports Reporter, and your article follows the same format as most of our articles, here's some changes I would have made:

Spoiler

1. Whenever it says "SuperNick95:," you should make the text apparently different from his quotes, that way it looks better. Just simply making this text bold would make it look much better. You could even bold the text AND colorize it differently from the quote for some added brownie-points.

2. Make sure to capitalize everything that must be capitalized, regardless of whether it is something you wrote, or the interviewee wrote. Specific examples:

On 7/28/2020 at 4:31 AM, Sabrytoun_Superman said:

Supernick

(The "N" should be capitalized, just as it is in his nickname)

On 7/28/2020 at 4:31 AM, Sabrytoun_Superman said:

tankisport

(Both the first "T" and the "S" should be capitalized, as it is the official name of a website)

Other than those simple mistakes, your article is outstanding; good job!

Don't discredit yourself, every article you write is well-written, and very entertaining through-and-through. If you'd like to continue writing articles like this, and advance your writing skills significantly at the same time, hit me up via Forum PM or Discord DM, and I'll help you apply to become an eSports Reporter. I'm sure you'd have a great chance at getting the position, and I feel like you'd enjoy it.
