Not notified when my post got reactions

One of my posts got 2 reactions yesterday, and despite having enabled notifications for reactions, I did not get notified. This is not the first time this has happened. Also, I haven't ignored any user (yet).

The post was in the Newspaper section. The last time that this happened, another post of mine had got a reaction in one of the Newspaper articles, but I wasn't notified.

Why does this happen?

 As for your case @coconuttree , the articles in the Newspaper are made in a private section. Once they are ready to be published, the Newspaper reporters approve the articles and move them to the main section which is why you don't receive notification for them.

As for you @SHREYA88 , We made a few tests, and we did receive notifications in the newspaper section. Yet, some notifications are delayed.

Ummm, thanks buddy, but I get notifications when some1 reacts to my posts in other sections. 2 users liked this question of mine, and I got notified. 

You need to scroll down a bit more (in Notification settings), and you'll find General settings. There you'll see "Someone gives a reputation point to my post". I have enabled the notification for that. Yet I didn't get notified when 2 users reacted to a post of mine in the Newspaper section...

So it seems...

Till now, I think this has happened only twice to me. The first time pythor had reacted to my post in his topic "Zone, XP/BP Duelist's habitat", and the second time, when Sacrifice and At_Shin reacted to another post of mine in Sacrifice's topic "Noobs Podcast". Both times I did not receive any notifications. Both topics are in the Newspaper section. (I'm not providing links because it's very difficult for me on mobile... However, both the topics are pretty easy to find)

You may check my profile, or the above mentioned users' profiles, to see whether those actions have been recorded or not.

I'll check those profiles too.

Even I faced notification problem for the newspaper. I follow it but didn't receive notifications when they published new articles this week.
