It looks like Tanki may be gearing up for an advertising push to bolster their plummeting player count.  Rebranding with a new name to con some ex-players into trying the New and Exciting Legendary PVP Shooter!....maybe even a few new players.

It's a good idea but should have been implemented a few years ago before this ruined version of Tanki is all that is left...sorry, Legendary PVP Shooter.

I guess I'm just a cynic, but what new player would bother with this monotonous husk of a game....and ex-players might dabble for a week or so to see what has changed, but they already quit the game because of all the "features" that are rife throughout all of Tanki now...MM, ODs, drones, massive supplies, alts, etc not to mention the loss of teamwork, comradery, strategy. etc.

 

Oh yeah, the home page (I really wouldn't call it a new web site) looks OK...slightly seizure inducing and washed out with very low contrast, but that bland low contrast matches the HTML version of the game.  Seems like kind of a waste of energy when there are so many real issues to be dealt with...but hey, it's the devs.

mi opinion, es que yo siento que es mejor el viejo sitio web, tengo una  pc muy vieja y ahi descargue tanki online del viejo sitio web y lo agarra muy bien y no se traba, pero cuando pruebo el sitio web de chrome de tanki ahi me agarra muy lento, nose porque sera talvez sera que exige mas rendimiento nose, pero si espero que no cambien el viejo sitio web, espero que me hubieran entendido

"Legendary" lol, its just a new fake facade for terrible game.  It doesnt matter how good your website looks, if your game is not enjoyable to play then they still leave. Numbers say it all. Cap between buyers and non buyers widens every year that now days you can fit whole universe between them. It may look good outside but what's inside is a different story.

I like new website, but the buttons looks like a bit small, would be great if text in the top menu is made a bit bigger.

The current website is good, but we are in the new decade and websites do need to change to reflect our current era. You do know that you should avoid Chrome because Flash will be unsupported in 4 months? I highly recommended you switch to HTML5 version for better overall performance.

I only see the English, French, Polish and Spanish language options on the new website. Which means tankers who resides @ Mainland China may not have access to the web.

Who knows, maybe after the new website has been polished and fully migrated to HTLM5, devs may improve the game afterward.

I don't like the animation on the new website because it makes me dizzy. Instead, please use a static background for the new website. The background must be images on tanks. To suit the theme of Tanki Online, use a dark mode background with static images of tanks, and make all the buttons green. Green button like with the Flash version would be much better.

They should add a Hindi version of Tanki Online on the new website because I have seen Indian players in Tanki Online. Please add a Hindi version for them.

Oh, I didn't notice that LOL. So correcting myself, the new website only has Russian, English, German and there IS Polish (which is abbreviated as PL).

Um... I wish I can play on Mainland Chinese server, but there is additional steps to do that, which involves entering your legal name AND Chinese ID number (the only way to obtain it is becoming PRC citizen, renouncing all other citizenships AND have to be at least 18 years old). I am that citizen but yet becoming 18 years old.

It is very much in your face, add a button to disable animation if required.Your next project by the way is to fix MM and overhaul MURDER HORNETS overdrive,it is due a serious nerf, and no secrets, JUST DO IT.

All the updates that have been killing Tanki on the EU servers have done even worse to the China servers.   You can still see the China numbers if you go the the language icon and it is always just a few hundred...not enough to keep MM going.  It is the same scenario that happened to the Latin servers....not enough player base.  Both these communities were doing very well before MM, then the more time consuming missions, ODs, drones, alts...you know, all the trash that has ruined Tanki on EU servers.   The worrisome part is now the EU servers are getting players numbers similar to what killed the Latin community and is now killing the Chinese community.
