Recycling Batteries

Recommended Posts

Dear Admins, I would like to suggest having a recycle option which allows Tankers to recycle/exchange their batteries to crystals. Why I suggest this, is because most players don't buy or like using drones so exchanging their unused batteries to crystals would be so useful for them, that they can use these crystals in upgrading their tanks and be able to compete with others. I hope this suggestion would be accepted as I am looking for improving this game with you guys. Thanks in advance.

Yes it does. If one has large amount of battery, he/she can and will get large amount of crystals without grinding and it will break the economy.

Few years ago, Alternativa made this mistake by allowing players selling unwanted equipments, this dramatically reduced developer's income. And to recover, they had to make a difficult decison of reducing the battle fund significantly in order to get players throwing their dollars for crystals again.

After that, they learnt a lesson that it was not good for players and the devs themselves for the long run and will not let it happen again.

It is game policy that you cannot refund any items for crystals/tankoins.

so in short words u r saying the game is trying its best to be P2W = pay 2 win and not satisfy it's players..

And the Admins wrote that players saying " Gold plz, admin? were gold diggers which turns out this "Quote" means Devs are gold digging ?!?

And for batteries you guys can make them more rare or only bought so thats not gonna have a really big effect on the devs income .. or maybe decrease batteries worth...there are lots of solutions that can be made to add this feature in game and I bet that more than half of Tanki Online community would be happy about it..

I don't know WTH is that analogy but if dev are going to implement your idea, watch Alternativa going to bankrupt within few months without doing a thing.

No. No. No. It will encourage more P2W-ness and because dev relies on players buying supplies as major income, it will still reduce their revenue significantly.

Simple solution, just don't use a drone if you cannot afford batteries.

I don't think players were ever allowed to explicitly sell their equipment. There have been times when players' equipment was taken away and their crystals were refunded (most notably 2012 rebalance) though.

surely every game and every company his first goal is money. but some games make balance between buyers and non-buyers but actually Tanki non of this games.

some games their entirely income depend on skins, and that's totally balanced like PUBG. but to be honest Tanki can't do that, because the natural of game, and if Tanki did that it will be bankrupt very soon.

but  but but, after what I say developers didn't have to say the game is balanced and the gap between buyers and non-buyers is small, because we all know that's not.

Oooooh. It's similar to what I said (but still different).  Either way, that refunding was the terrible mistake that dev made.
