Well, if we are going that route, I wish they would also remove drones. Between the drones and overdrives (mostly Hornet of course), the new mode pretty much sucked in my opinion. Either I was constantly getting killed or I was unable to do more than scratch any of the other players because of Defender. There were the most Defender drones I'd seen in my life in these battles... These battles have really changed my outlook of the game (its gotten way more negative) because now I am seeing the true force of the amount of unbalanced changes and equipment that the devs have added to the garage really adding up. In normal MM battles with all Legends, you see many players with 9999 GS and such, but you are rarely forced to fight against them without any aid from teammates because, well, it's not DM. Now I realize how inadequate my GS of about 8.5k on average is against 50% prots, drone users, and all the overdrives out there. It only is good in team modes.

 

Overall, the event was OK. At least there were the micro upgrade sales, which are what I took advantage of. I managed to upgrade my whole garage another step forward. Now I am less than 4 steps away from max on all my equipment which I am getting to M4.

How on earth do you manage this?? I know you run meta combos (vulcan) and probably use a 9999 GS combo, but I would still be nowhere near this amount of xp and cry in one week. Are you basically playing all day and all night for this?

Cannot relate... for example, I was going to do the puzzle piece contest... got to 12 pieces and everything on the first day right away, then yesterday went to work all day, completely forgot about it... Came home super tired, and passed out almost instantly at about 10 pm. The puzzle contest would've required me to stay up until 2 am (I am on the west coast of the U.S.) so I completely missed the window. Also I am mostly only doing missions these days since pro battles are largely dead. The only thing which ever got me to no-life was like the 5 hour Arena CPs. I have an old screenshot of getting like 11k xp and 8k crystals in one battle during the midranks. I miss that old Tanki.

I gave up on the 20000 battle points and 30000 battle points missions. I also gave up on the 50 gold boxes mission because I was exhausted by the time I had caught 40. I just bought another drone in the sale though and I think it's a lot better than Trickster so I'm happy!

Well that was a fun event. Completed all the special missions (took over 10 hours), got my 15 ULTRA containers!

It really sucks for the ultra container missions because I did not receive any gold boxes as a drop reward in previous challenges. Now I am stuck because I don't have 100 gold boxes to drop in battles. Its too late for me now.
