I am so surprised to see Ares in the Flash version of Tanki Online. Developers mentioned quite a long time ago that Ares would only be released when Flash is discontinued. However, developers changed their minds.

i have a question! 

will the new guns and hulls have ultra skin appearence

and what about the new guns will they have animated recoil (in case they have recoile ) like ares OD (watch the front of the hull when launching OD)

Because... they never said that, you just invented that information. Next time be more careful to what you say about the developers.

The same way you invented the "Developers said that they are planning on making another light hull that hovers like Ares." Totally fantasist statement on your part.

I think he's confusing what they said in the v-log about developing maps (episode264)

Heals 2000 hp per second. It's virtually impossible to kill the Ares in this position unless you disconnect him from the ball (e.g. slow him with freeze), disable him with Hunter, or one-shot him with Hornet/Booster.

It's extremely difficult to use, however.

Wait wut?   

Not so difficult that players can't overcome the learning curve and use it to score goals at will.

 

The Titan dome healed .... 500 hp/second if I recall and that was deemed too powerful.   LOL.

I have over 20 hours played with Ares, and it took me 3 hours today to get this successful attempt for the video. And in this case it wasn't even necessary because the enemy team was quite weak anyway. So far I only managed to do this strat effectively a total of 5 or 6 times.

But it does still work well (but to a lesser extent) in many other cases, so I'd say overall this is definitely in the top 3 most powerful overdrives at the moment.

Hmm, wouldn't a domed up titan be able to just tank the explosion head on?

The ball and explosion ignore Titan dome protection. But the Titan can place the dome on top of the ball to cancel it out.

  1. Notice that you got severely damaged buy the splash damage at the end? This is when you have double armor on and the defender drone. What happen if you don't? You will die before you able to score the point.
  2. Also, have you noticed that you have to slowdown or even stop the movement before firing the OD? That's because if you fire it while on the move, due the slightly forward tilt of the hull, the OD will slowly travel downwards and eventually hit the ground and blow you into pieces.
  3. This strategy will only work on fully upgraded MK7 Ares with speed boost on, other than that, the orb will travel way faster than Ares which it is impossible for Ares to catch up.
  4. This strategy will only work in an open area like the one you have in the video. If anyone blocked you on the way (which I have no idea why nobody did that in the video, may be the enemy team is really weak as you mentioned?), you will be disconnected with the orb and you are done. Or if there are any obstacle in the middle of the path, you have to either slow down and disconnected with the orb in advance or the orb will hit the obstacle and blow you into pieces.

 

Ever OD can be OP in some scenario, I played CTF for countless hour and Titan's dome is very strong while defending the flag. For Ares, its OD is very strong in ruby because most of the time players will clustered around the ball.

 

That's why I said it many many many times, remove the splash damage!!! Please!!!!! I'm not sure who come up with the idea and what is the purpose behind it but it is simply a very bad idea.

See my reply above, you can only pull this off on a fully upgraded MK7 Ares with speed boost on. That because this is the only way Ares is able to catch up the orb, it is more than just learning curve. It is physically impossible to pull it off in lower ranks.
