Last time, in V-Log 261, you took us on a trip back in time in 2015, the date when I first joined Tanki Online. This time, please take us back right at the very beginning in 2009 during the first launch of Tanki Online on its "Day 1" of release.

In next week's V-Log 268, please can you show us all the original Tanki Online game on its Day 1 release day in 2009. I just want to see what equipment and how the original gameplay was like because I joined Tanki Online on "May 2nd 2015". Because of that late join, I never got to experience the original Tanki Online experience that some players had way before me. In the next V-Log, please talk about and show how the original Tanki Online looked like with graphics. What turrets, hulls, maps and other features were there?

Tanki Online 2009 on its Day 1 release date. What was the overall game like?

I previously read about this history of the game, but I would like to see how the original Tanki Online looked and what equipment was available when the game was first released in 2009. That would be very interesting for players to see in the next V-Log 268.

Tanki V-Logs in Russian seem to have started 2 years before V-Logs in English.

The spectator is using Flash.

The spectator mode works well on the Flash version. It is still has some problems on HTML5, as far as I know from interactions with spectators of the Rent-A-Spec service.

Notice that while showing how Ares moves, the video is from the player's point of view (not spectator mode), and the demonstrator is using HTML5.

 

But of course, the spectator mode should work well on HTML5 also. I agree with your point, Benefactor.
