ok so now no v-log chat room . but v=log has been viewed ...commented ..20 minutes ago..

new added on ..

so far still no way to comment on the v-log , it looks like tanki is not ready to take the heat on the negative comments which might have all ready been said else where  . for me I can't see this game lasting that much longer . I can see more players leaving - we all ready lost close to 9 k in a week , on Monday the count could be around 4k making battles not worth coming on to do. for missions its wrong on so many levels not to allow others to receive them. for older accounts not sure ,why when tanki stated in the past that if your account has been used to purchase items with real money your accounts would stay active but now things changed ?

** posted my answer to question of the week on the wrong v-log. Also redid it again for this week . hoping I'm not deleted from this weeks entry's

Forcing players into HTML5 version is nothing wrong, given that flash is a dying platform. But the problems arise when you don't care about players' opinions. That HTML5 thing is laggy as hell, not optimized for low-end PCs, slow, literally slow I mean, we hate that UI etc. From what we players see, you really don't put any effort to fix these things. Take that slowness for example. You develop & test HTML5 version with high-end PCs in your HQ, but have you ever played it with a low-end PC.? I assume "no"..! You really don't care about what players think or feel about HTML5, you guys only care about money

I don't understand why the Flash version is being gradually crippled instead of being left alone until its removed, unless it is for technical reasons

I switched to playing in the HTML5 version a while ago, but still used the Flash version for everything apart from playing because I prefer it

The gradual crippling doesn't bother me that much because I've made the switch, but I still don't see how it will persaude the remaining HTML5 haters to switch

It's just annoying them

If they really don't want anyone playing the Flash version (assuming it's for technical reasons), then they might as well remove it now

(edit: I don't want them to remove it before December)

Thanks for the most useless advice that was ever given.

Not a good advice, there is better way to flip Ares and you don't need to go that high.

The russian v-log had way better youtube video that included Trio Parkour with Ares!

Be careful not to delete Nives' account.

And I just opened an account with the nickname Nives, can you use it to give Nives' account it's proper nickname?

The advice isn't actually advice. Other than that, you're fine. : P

Holy Cow, that's ADVISE FOR TODDLERS.

Maybe old accounts shouldn't be deleted.

Couldn't those just be deactivated, so that when you comeback after a long time you'd have to reactivate them.

"optimizing the player database"

Expectation: oh, they're going to give it a brand new look?

Reality: we're deleting all accounts who have not logged in in the past 3 years.

brb, emailing Tech Support to get all of my old accounts back.

Let start afresh, this is a Neo Tanki, no point to try to take the train while it is in motion, so many changes happened. TBH, you better start from the beginning to discover the Neo Tanki and enjoy the full experience (the new bugs,...). It will also prevent Mk7 at low ranks, that was supposed to be removed by the special summer boost.

The idea is to reduce the storage and query time of the database, this is in fact the easiest way to do it.

Great. So now I have to go into the HTML5 version of my accounts to see what the missions are, and then go back to the flash version to actually play. Since I won't play with HTML5 until you make it less unpleasant to use.

You guys never cease to amaze me with your completely disdainful treatment of your player base, and your continuous assumption that we're really stupid.

Your explanation for why we can no longer access missions or challenges in flash is insulting. You are not forced to do this. The only thing you are forced to do is drop flash when it becomes discontinued across the board. Making it more unpleasant for players in the interim is just vile and childish.

With my idea they can do both. Old acounts get deactivated and they are put in a different storage until they get reactivated if the player comesback to Tanki and starts the process.

I'm not sure if it's doable, it's just an idea. I just think 3 years is too short to completely delete accounts.

I find it very unfair to players that Tanki Online accounts which have not been used for three years or more that developers decided to destroy them. I agree on this for ranks of Recruit to Generalissimo, but to make this more fair, I would suggest keeping Legend account permanently, even if players have not played for ten years. Do you know how long it takes for the (road to Legend)? Well, it does take a long time for Recruit players to get there. That is the reason why I suggest Legend accounts to remain on servers permanently even if those players have not used their Legend accounts for ten years or more.

It is perfectly normal to deleted inactive account below Legend ranks, because most of them are low ranked accounts. Please improve this update by keeping only Legend accounts which have not been active for many years.

That is call archiving and they are properly doing it as it is very common in enterprise. Yet, after all, you still have to pay extra to store the old data. I personally OK with this practice.

Storing the accounts in a personal storage is a good idea. What developers could do is make it possible for players to download their Tanki Online accounts at any time, then they can choose to re-upload the accounts whenever they want to play with them again.

I actually quite like this idea. Why not post it in Ideas & Suggestions?

Just watched the V-log. Did they really teach me how to flip Ares? Why would I need to know such useless information? Why would I need to know how to flip my own hull? Why?! WHY?! That part of the V-log was incredibly stupid.

I despise how they're removing the missions tab on Flash. They shouldn't be shoving HTML5 down our throats! They might as well get rid of Flash tomorrow! I can't believe how they're destroying history as well as their own game.
