Massive festive celebrations will last for five days: from Wednesday, September 9th at 2:00 UTC, until 2:00 UTC on Monday, September 14th. 

And now for the details!

 

Funds and experience

 

Ever since summer ended, everyone has been asking the same question: “What will happen with the boosted summer funds and experience?”. We analyzed the data, discussed it and decided to change the current parameters. From the restart on September 9th, the experience will increase to x4, and the funds will stay at x2.

 

And during Tanker’s Day, the above funds and experience boosts will be doubled in matchmaking battles. 

Perfect opportunity to rank up (maybe even multiple times) and earn some crystals for shopping!

 

Special event

 

In the upcoming weekend, from September 12th, 2:00 UTC until September 14th, 2:00 UTC, the festive mode “Solo Juggernaut” will appear in Matchmaking on the Magistral map. Become the Juggernaut and challenge your opponents!

In addition to that, this map will be expecting a massive goldbox rain. Be prepared: it will not be easy to stay at the top of the leaderboard!

The headquarters are testing the combat readiness of the tankers!
For that, they created special missions with different standards.

If you complete it successfully, you will be rewarded the great prizes.

 

• Supermission: The real tanker

• Task: Complete the «Fighter», «Knight», «Gladiator», and «Tomahawk» missions. 

• Prize: 5 ultra containers

 

• Mission: Fighter

• Task: Destroy 300 tanks with melee-range turrets (Firebird, Freeze, Isida) in matchmaking battles. 

• Prize: 300 speed boosts

 

• Mission: Knight

• Task: Destroy 300 tanks with short-range turrets (Twins, Ricochet, Hammer) in matchmaking battles.

• Prize: 300 double armour 

 

• Mission: Gladiator

• Task: Destroy 300 tanks using medium-range turrets (Smoky, Striker, Vulcan, Thunder) in matchmaking battles.

• Prize: 100 repair kits

 

• Mission: Tomahawk

• Task: Destroy 300 tanks using long-range turrets (Shaft, Gauss, Magnum, Railgun) in matchmaking battles

• Task: Earn 20 000 points in any matchmaking battles.

Guess TO does not care about getting new players to join the game and stay.  Why the heck would any new player stay in this game when they will be ranking at double the rate of their crystal income?

So essentially, the fund has been technically reduced 50% in ordinary day and NOT being increased in Tanker's day.

 

You should really fire your data analysis.

Don't care, this mode is removed because it is unbalanced in the first place.

 

 

Sales

-50% on micro-upgrades and speedups, now this is something I like.

 

Coinboxes and Ultra containers

Coinboxes: contains supplies and crystals. Occasionally drop a few "coins"

Ultra containers: Chances of getting something "Ultra" is around 0.3% (I didn't make this number up)

I might buy the Steal beast bundle, just to upgrade my drone

This is for no-lifers, don't care.

Fund was increased twice because of Summer boost but they decided to make it stay forever. In tanker's day there will be another X2 so you will get X4 of what you were getting before any boosts. So, I don't get how it's none as you say?

When the fund increases so as the XP, and XP is growing x2 faster comparing to the fund.

What that means is the crystal-rank ratio decreases by 50%, which technically reduces the fund by 50%.

 

e.g.

Originally,

crystal : XP = 1 : 1

Assume an ordinary player will get 1000 crystal when he level up Private (100 XP).

i.e.

Crystal = 1000

XP = 100

 

Now,

crystal : XP = 2 : 4 = 1 : 2

When you level up to Private, you will only have 500 crystal on average. 

 

 

You will level up faster and you will earn more crystals spending the same amount of time playing.

 

But the ratio of the amount of XP / the amount of crystal is completely off. 

This is one possible sign that the company has foreseen they are going to encounter/is currently encountering some financial difficulties and desperately need ways to increase their income.

 

p.s. I like the fact that there is no dislike button here and no matter what reaction I gave, it still contributes to the reputation of that person. "Nice" design.
