Why is latency getting worse with each update?

I remember when there were more than a couple of servers... EN had its own server and ping never got over 100, ever. That was YEARS ago. Now I have well over 500 continuously dropping to 100 only for a few seconds every minute. All other times it is well over 500. I assure the problem is not on my end, I am using a 12 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload connection (better than my internet before the server changes), plugged in via Ethernet cable, no other applications open on the computer. Sorry for the rant, but I am sick of being robbed and killed because my shots either happened a second (or 3 or 4 etc) after I pull the trigger, or just flat out do no damage (I know they hit because physics affect their tank. I make a railgun miss while doing no damage) while everyone else damages me like its nothing, leaving me completely defenseless. Not to mention it becomes impossible to pick up supply drops and gold boxes, as the tank just drives right through them.

Oh and that is not even mentioning the sheer minute it took for the forum to even begin to load.

Is this just me?

Your internet speed isn't that quick

Ping depends on a number of factors, such as your location and ISP.I personally didn't notice any significant increase in ping, and there haven't been any reports about it lately. It most likely is somehow on your end.
