Since someone bought up mobile. I don't recall much, but how is hoppers movement on it? Does it strafe? Etc

Yes. A faster Ares basically.

Ah yes, the lovely anime, I should rewatch it soon, not enough animes that are blunt about reality being harsh, a bit like tanki's imbalance situation due to players wanting more content

Hopper. They all have DA and likely drones too.  And then maybe add a protection module.

In the CTF and Rugby battles I have played hopper has scored the majority of caps.  It's not even close.

Just played a battle on parma - ended up 5-0 as other team had 3 Hoppers and they seemed to have OD ALL the time.  They just needed to get close to the base in the lower area and than zap - up over the walls and capped.

 

It is just no fun playing against them in those battles.  When the game is not fun, people will leave and find something else to do.   Is it worth it to attract mobile users and lose the same amount of established players?  TO better hope they can retain those mobile players.

Some thought, you notice the things you hate more in battles, rather the reality of what's going on most of the time. Or its because it is still new and players just like the hull. Give it more time until the next balance change I guess.

The "reality" of what's going on in the game?  What does that mean?

It took over two years to "balance" hornet.

If TO waits that long I won't be around when it happens.

I just found Hornet as annoying but not OP.  I used to main Hornet because of its controls not its OD. Hopper a light hull that jumps. Is OP. What??

Oh yes i've faced similar once, that map is chaos, especially due to how open it is, AND not 1, but 2 nuclear boxes, plus hoppers OD retention is a bit crazy, could use a nerf.

A light hull that jumps OVER DEFENSES and can cap easily.

Which leads to high scoring which leads to fast OD generation which leads to...

We all know ODs are positive feedback loops.  They help you score which helps you generate more ODs. 

Hoppers OD generates too quickly and even though you (and others) point out it has low health - the OD it is generating quickly helps it avoid the defenses that are a threat to it's "low health".  And then there's drones...

Answer: Nerf the Drones. 

Many game modes are ruined because of the Heavyweight tank augments. Impossible to cap if the enemies just sit on their base. Those who sit on bases are probably just Smoky Titan or Vulcan Titan. How is that fair?

Yes do enlighten me with pics against hopper, I mean, you clearly are a hypocrite, saying you can beat the crisis hopper, next minute calling it a flying cheat, make your mind up. Back your chat, like I have mine.

I guess the following would also be considered a flying cheat for you:

OMG, i said are rather i implied, and i QUOTE (myself) if a FLYING CHEAT faced a team of players like me he would be toast, meaning he would get slaughtered.

Well, a hopper equipped with DA + 50% module is also very tough to kill.

It's the avoiding defenses that is critical.  Sometimes the hopper doesn't even need a Defender because it's leaping over walls, mines and also defenders to score a goal or cap a flag in assault.

It needs a nerf.

I think that Hopper, Crisis, EMP Gauss, Defender, and a bunch of other things are OP, though I will clarify that I don't have much of a problem with Hoppers in non-flags/ball modes.  More than one thing can be OP at once.

Apply two items from following list...

- Reduce the length/height it can travel on OD - maybe SB has no effect on that part.

- remove stun

- delay on stun effect like Hunter has

- remove the fire damage.  Seems random and really not needed.

- Reduce area of stun effect and duration of stun

- Change the Charging mechanics to be more in line with Titan

your points are pointless, you every post bragging with your skills, and record a GIF with a hopper saying that it's not OP (contradiction). no one want to see your footages as it's pointless

you implicated yourself in a lot of points, you said Hopper isn't OP, and the horrible Crisis is on a disadvantage

tbh, I don't know how to answer you, I don't know what to say.. So as you bragging every second about your skills

So I invite you to come in a match -me and you- and seeing who can approve his point ( as you didn't provide any approve for your points than your skils)

I will share the result immediately here, we will play in 3 games

Hopper has changed Tanki in a bad way.  This hull is far too powerful.  If Tanki does not "re-balance" its power soon, I will quit the game.  I just played a game were the score was 3 to 1.  A Hopper entered the losing team and scored three times in 2 minutes.  I have a fully upgraded Wasp hull and the Hopper is twice as fast as my wasp on nitro.  And Hopper's overdrive is also far too powerful.  Many games are determined by how many Hoppers are on a team.  The team with the most Hoppers wins, and nothing else matters.  I know why Tanki did this.  They want all of us to BUY a hopper, and I refuse to do that.  I have spent years developing my skills with a wasp and Hopper has utterly ruined the game for me.

Probably on Crisis Drone. Wasp is faster than Hopper.

I have played with many combinations, I KNOW what is OP in actual games, and I have faced many combinations too. Have you done these two together? I think not. So please, stop the cap. 1 hopper shouldn't be able to do much alone if the team opposing it has a brain to understand the limits. 2 maybe is hard to face, and more ofc, it brings an imbalance. But clearly, you talk a lot for a player who hasn't seemed to reach the endgame yet, either real drone (defender/booster) 9999 GS players havent annoyed you yet, or you hardly play enough game modes to know whats really good. I even posted a screenshot where I wasn't hopper and faced 2 hoppers, what you tryna tell me about hopper being OP, I CAN FIGHT HOPPERS with/without Hopper. It depends on understanding the limits along with having a team that also understands, the second part may be virtually impossible considering players don't want to learn and just want everything nerfed. I would like to refer you back to the tabulated graph which shows Crisis in a 1v1 to death situations LOSES to all those mentioned drones. Don't @ for clout now. If you're just sad that a crisis keeps running from you, that's not my fault, use a ranged item instead, smoky plays good for flanking, thunder can be good too, and I'd suggest maybe try shaft. You also didn't seem to see the rugby travel with crisis, the team flanked me well and destroyed me, they played it smart with the twins holding defense. It takes brain less brawn to beat a hopper.

Do re visit the following replies before you message back, 1st one is about crisis making it's way, meanwhile enemy being flanked, do you keep armor, do you speed and take a hit, against a team it's not crazy, 2nd about the actual stats of drones:

Cleaned up the list for you, I definitely agree with that useless burning damage needing to be removed. Stun duration is the same as Hunter's Iirc so ideally changing the radius seems good enough, charging mechanism could certainly use change, it's partly glitchy at times, long ago I noticed an instant OD after using one, was confused on how, could just be the game itself, I have no clue..
