If you have time to read much, you will notice that I criticize Hopper in many things not just the stun delay.

If Hopper have a delay before stun, yes that will change much, many times Hopper coming around me I don't know when they will use the OD, just made me in a baffle when he will use it. at least Hunter have a delay for one second to make me deal with, in example if a hopper around me and I have Viking OD, any time I use it he will stun me directly. But Hunter have a one second delay, that maybe allow me to kill him before I get stunned, this is just a one example for many examples that happens.

The immediately stun made the Hopper player use the OD whenever he want without any risk of missing the opponent, btw either this or that, the no-delay in stun made it directly OP than Hunter.

Ahhhh i am gonna get much hate for this...

 

As a player that has witnessed the early days of tanki (maybe), I do not think that hopper is game breaking, as many suggest.

as for people that go crazy about "___ has dropped a goldbox" or sth, yeah, no, hopper is OP (haha)

but, does hopper really give you a crazy advantage over your enemies in MM? I don't think so.

Hopper's overdrive is one of the most mediocre overdrives in the game.

in higher ranked battles, you would have people with stun immunity, burn immunity, etc.

some of you may think, dang, this will stun you, it would kill you... etc...

the thing that makes the stun literally useless is because IT CANT KILL YOU quickly. 

as a person that mains hopper, I can tell you that it's overdrive does not give much of a tactical advantage.

sure, they are stunned, but more than always, they just repair, and then blast you.

the emp is glitched? or something because the repair is never disabled. the flames are gone and ur pretty much dead if they have some skill.

since you are so high over them, you cannot shoot them.

The real reason I personally prefer hopper over everything else is because of its movement. 

the fact that you can strafe with this hull makes it very agile, despite being much slower than it's counterparts. 

Not because of the jump, but because it's mobility, and versatality, do many hopper users use this

or in short, it's easy to use.

I don't care about what the big YTERS say bout it, but if hopper was really THAT op, why isn't everyone using it?

now, you goldbox catching tryhards, don't go around saying that they should disable the jump. this thing will literally hover over enemy tanks, and climb to the top of the sea of tanks, without the jump.

now yeah...

I think a lot of the complaints about Hopper / it's OD are about the ease with which Hoppers can cap in CTF / ASL and score in RGB, especially with a Crisis drone

In other modes it doesn't annoy me that much

When you all say 3 overdrives in 1, what do you mean, it's just 1 overdrive.

If you mean 3 effects; Burn; Stun; Jump

Let's talk about Titan; Defensive; disable Ares BFG; Disable Wasp Bomb; Remove existing Dome

Hunter be the real king here. Yes in CTF Hoppers Jump is a madness, if you have stun immunity, i recommend it, if you don't, stay at a distance.

Not trying to defender Hopper here, just correcting the '3 od in 1', if that's 3 od in 1, then hunter is what, 5? Hopper Overdrive is a single overdrive comprised of 3 attributes, to say it's 3 od's in 1, I shall just terminate reading any evaluation if anyone cannot acknowledge what an overdrive is.

Hopper is too strong, legend hoppers have unfair advantage, particularly a team of them. They are nothing other than flying spaceships in the wrong game....It's a tank game. Flying over the tallest structures, freezing and stealing flags, etc... they have too much power. Please rid us of hoppers or weaken them to merely jumping a single tank. In some cases, in two leaps they steal flag and then to home base with no interference, then do it over and over, so discouraging to those who have worked to strengthen & improve skills of their land based tanks.

I guess it's time to add a bit more. Not everyone may see this as a problematic issue. But I do.

The devs of the game have indirectly, whether intentionally or not made Hoppers OD stronger.

Remember stun, it only stopped you from shooting, moving and holding items before, but hey, now it also stops you from using supplies, which was possible before to help you shield yourself at times.

Now if a Hopper stuns you, you can't even save yourself from the burn if you have neither stun and heat immunity on.

I highly do suggest the need of stun immunity if you do have it when you do face hopper players.

Stun has basically become a 'temporary supply disabler' which only EMP was meant to be.

The only difference from stun and EMP now is that EMP also removes current supplies whereas Stun let's a player keep supplies but not use any for 3s. It is clear which effect is more annoying. (Also getting stunned makes you drop flags/balls)

I think hopper is really OP hull. Fast, easy to catch goldboxes(90% caught hopper), fire damage before jump. As a hull its really good,  but its so OP for enemies. I've got nervous sometimes, when I played versus hopper :D

I Really Like Hopper! Especially on events it helps non buyer / noobs to enjoy and catch some gold boxes. Some people were mad at the beginning when they added hopper (including me), but later on I realized what tanki was trying to do:  make the game playable for non buyer.

when ever a gold box a hopper mostly will get it and its no fun i was wondering if when hopper uses his overdrive he can't get any boxes or only gold box because hopper for gold is unskilled its not fun. Thank you for reading this and taking a thought about it.

How is it that a "Flying Monkey" can score a goal in Rugby when I am sitting on the goal post. In other words, does a "Flying Monkey" have the ability to push the ball through the top of my tank and score?  ?

I dislike hopper in CTF, Rgby, Assault modes. Especially if hopper is equipped with Crisis drone. 

Then there are times where the hopper would take the ball/flag and use their OD to get to a spot that makes him/her impossible to kill. Then they just camp there the entire game with magnum and damage us while we are on the ground unable to damage them. I think the devs allowing "safe zones" for hopper outside the map is insanely stupid.

The company made a lot of $$$$$$ by selling Hopper (Flying Monkeys) for $200 U.S. each but all we Tankers got was a miserable, unplayable, unbalanced game.  ?

I have a suggestion. The Hoppers get their own game and maps!

At least it will get an indirect nerf when there's a lot more Hunters running around with stun protection after March-1 Challenge.

But still it's ridiculous.  The lateral movement alone makes it hard to counter in ctf/rugby/assault.  The OD just adds insult to injury.

Please ban hopper in the modes where the gold boxes are boosted. Because its no fun trying to get gold boxes with out using hopper almost everyone  is using hopper.

Hopper ruined capturing modes CTF/Rugby more than it ruined the Goldboxes, Gold box is no more an important thing in the game and it drops a lot. If you care about every gold dropping you wont play ever, they drop a lot.

Easy way to counter this in my opinion is using mag with either mortar or rgc to kill them or knock them off

Nah homie, I don't want Hopper to get banned. I want to see Hoppers flying everywhere. <3

I don't use Hoppers other in random Parkours.

I don't think it really matters... since they score most through capping.   (and are as close to unstoppable in that regard as they can get)

I think at this moment hopper is the most imbalanced hull in the game.
1.To balance this hull mb need to make a thing that when hopper use their ability it can't take gold, because it makes gold boxes more borring when a half of team is with hoppers and you play with other hull;

2.If the first point are very uncomfortable for players, then nerf their ability in other character, at example to remove or stun or fire damage.
It only my opinion because I played for 2 months and I of this hull
