Just finished a Rugby battle on Chernobyl.  Finished 2-0 for enemy team and only scorer was a Hopper-Gauss-EMP with Defender drone.

That hull & turret augment are abominations that are ruining the game.

Just gonna leave battles when I see those items.

When we criticize a hull we don't criticize it as it's weak or ugly.... no we criticize it because it's OP and too powerful, and what you praise we criticize.

What do you mean "paint design?" If you are micro-upgrading something, like this case, the design does not change what so ever. The design of the tank is called the skin, which does not affect upgrades.

Well there wasn’t a skin change coming from mk6 to mk7 on hopper vs the changes on dictator on upgrades. I wasn’t talking about micro upgrades

If I am not mistaken, they have removed all skins (Mk1-Mk 5 or 6) from the game. That is probably why you do not see any other skin except XT for Hopper.

It can capture flags/balls with ease because it can simply jump over base defenders, is more maneuverable than Hornet and Wasp (can strafe), and can get up to useful positions by jumping.

Just finished a rugby battle on wolfenstein where hopper was coming into base over the bloody walls.  It was just ridiculous.

It's rather saddening to see the broken lightweight construction on this hull that makes it cover the distance of whole map in mere couple of seconds bordering the speed hack limits. It's basically impossible to effectively counter it in Rugby, Assault and CTF battles.

Seems to me that balance have left the building and the attention is only being focused on spitting out even more updates without actually paying attention to how they will effect the gameplay.

Met this Yarik guy in two battles of CTF. Basically impossible to stop him in anyway since he can capture flag in like 4 seconds with Hooper. You cannot even block him because he will simply hover over  you even if you stand directly on the flag and shots hardly ever connect with him because it's impossible to follow his extremely fast hull. Utter joke.

I think guys we discussed a lot about how it's can capture the flags very well. but we neglected the most annoying thing that its floating is very annoying.

What I mean... it's annoying when one of your teammates with hopper comes around you or push you something, first cuz it's floating (didn't touch the ground) with very light weight that makes it cross over you like (ignore tanks) hack... really annoying, as today with my Viking-Striker when I was in sniping on someone-- the very annoying hopper-firebird was trying cornered himself to go to kill that tank by pushing me and come across me...

Or when I was trying to push some hopper from taking the gold but I can't, though logically I can push him in the farrest in the map cuz it's 1000 weight

Even the Dictator (the heaviest tank) couldn't annoying me with this way

The problem with Hopper it is overpowered in it's current state. 2 of the Rugby matches I played today were losses due to a Hopper the enemy team. A Hopper using it's overdrive with speed buffs active can jump over large portions or almost the entire map. It will not just effect RGB but also CFT & ASL. A solution can be to nurf Hopper's jump ability (like make not jump just as high or make fall faster).

So, seems like a lot of complaints about hopper. Yes I understand its overdrive, but how does its speed/hp compare to wasp and hornet. Perhaps if it is intended to be the ultimate flag capper, one could reduce the health a bit, thus letting it be the best at capping but less good in combat that its light cousins

I am afraid that no amount of nerfs will be able to truly balance this hull, since it's broken at a fundamental level. Either it gets nerfed to the ground and becomes useless, or it will stay as it is, breaking every game mode it plays in.

Hopper needs to be adjusted. I know it's illegal to suggest tanki remove something from the game but.....  

Rugby is impossible to play when someone in the game has the equivalent of an airplane. Maybe adjust the allowed equipment in rugby matches to exclude hopper. It is not as large of a problem in other game modes.

That is a mediocre player. No offence, It is visual that he's using EMP Salvo. And ZXC instead of real mouse controls, please, he hasn't clearly experienced strafing if he's still using that. You sir, are yet to see a deadly player.

Who tells you that I have not seen a good player? I know very well that he drives like a drunk 80 year old, yet look at what he can do. 

The point of my post was to show how broken and disgusting Hopper + Crisis is, not to discuss how that dude plays.

Im afraid you both miss the point of him having EMP salvo, which is probably the one thing that doesnt require much effort. Also fighting crisis is easier than you think, it's much harder to face a defender hopper.

Any hull is hard to fight with 20/20 Defender, the turret which he was using does not matter in this case. You missed the point of my post.

As in speed, jumping ability and the option of ignoring the enemy team completely thanks to the hovering mechanic.

Also, regarding effort.

Press 4, approach the enemy base, press 2 and 1, then jump while pressing 4, capture. Wow that requires so much effort, truly the work of a masterful player.

@2shots2kills the turret he used does matter. Also the way you described the usage of crisis is mediocre. It must be a camping team if the hopper only has to use '4' once until he reaches enemy base to tank. Sir, please adapt, crisis is not hard to fight if you are smart. @TheRealHZFJ and @Tidebreaker can both agree with me, along with others. You talk of a mediocre use with crisis, using 1-5 for supplies imagine ??. Meanwhile hoveing mechanic, yes at times it is glitchy, but driving still needs technique and practice unless you're in a map with a straight like Desert.

You also seem to forget that the majority of the playerbase is bad at the gake or has weak equipement, hence making this mediocre player seem good. How about seeing how he fights against a good team? Like an actual good team.
