The Hopper (Flying Monkey) on my team keeps stealing the Rugby ball from me - I keep blocking the Flying Monkey from scoring. What a crappy way to have to play Tankionline! ?

This crappy hull doesn't make any sense in this game, in 2009, the project TANKi online was started, for a long time it was good. but when they anounced the new HTML 5 client, the game began to die. they began to add flying hulls, they removed a lot of things, and they added alot of things, to make it "BaLaNcEd". but with the time of today ALL the flying hulls, especially hopper, are TOO OP. the game is called TANKi online, not airship online. Just bring the old game back! ?

Now the question is, why they did that, in the old days there was skill needed to take a gold flying trough the sky, that was the best way to take golds, not with a flying musquito

Hi...  I'm a viking player for long time ago. I have a questiobn? how an hooper player with 2000 hp (ptotect max) can restist of 3,4, 5 fire of my railgun, hammer and shaft? useless to speaking about my vulcan and ricocher .. tanki is a joke I know it but now... I wonder if hopper player need to wait to use overdrive. Looks like all hooper pklayers have the right the use it every mintues. Thanks to read...

That calls Defender drone, which give them 1.5x armor. So Hopper has 2000hp, with Double Armor it's 4000, with Defender it's 6000.

I just bought the defender drone with the 30% sale...
No regtets...  but I regret. Still so many batlles to upgrate it for the best effect. I'm so tired... and so poor lol

A last thing i want to say, I stopped playing tanki online for 2 years. I came back 2 months ago. And the game is better. Before, u need to play one year to get so poor results. But, I'm still frustrated ... ---> hopper ... however , go TO.

There is no question that Hopping Tanks ruin the game balance.   Many games end in under 3 minutes with the "hop scoring".  If my team wins because we had a Hopping Tank, I feel we cheated.  I miss the old Tankionline.  ?

Generally, I don't mind about Hoppers because I like its uniqueness of jumping. I do agree though, it does increase the chance of blowouts on Rugby, CTF and Assault (and for the 5th+ time, it should not have Hunter + Firebird traits when jumping).

 

Yes yes, Hoppers snatching gold boxes left and rights but I don't care when they do that.

 

How to fix the issues? I say when capping flag/scoring goals, the tank (not just Hopper) have to touch the hitbox of the flag point/goal, not above a tank (when it is sitting on it). 

 

Someone also suggested that when Hopper jumps, it goes "Phantom" mode, meaning if one is in midair via jumping, it would automatically drop the ball/flags and cannot pick up any boxes.

completely agreed. rugby, assault and ctf give people with hopper hulls a big advantage. Also not to mention that catching gold boxes with hopper is way easier.....

Hopper itself isn't that OP, but when it's paired with Crisis drone where it becomes a huge game changer. (Defender drone too, but on a lower level)

There Is A Solution To The Imbalance Of The Game Due To Hoppers.   Hoppers were introduced to make money for Tankionline which I understand.   However, it has obviously made the game very frustrating for the rest of us.   The Solution is Hoppers get their own separate game.   That way it is a fair fight and the rest of us go back to the old Tankionline which was fair and fun!  ?

Even without those two drones it is still an overpowered hull. It's mainly the relatively high speed and strafing that makes Hopper annoying and disturbing to fight against, not to forget the detonation jump and corresponding status effects. I often use the hull with Magnum AGLM and Booster, occasionally with Gauss EMS without drone or Shaft APS. Nerfing Hopper is being waited for since it's very release, but finding a suitable and realistic approach for doing that is rather hard.

Yeah, the space mini-game thing we got can be further worked on to be it's own Hopper-only game :D
