They just do what the like, that is why I am using it as an example. Not because it was an improvement.

It is the same thing with HTML5, it is supposed to be better, but NO ONE WANTS IT!.

The situation is hardly the same. The switch to HTML5 is being made out of necessity - Adobe will drop support for Flash soon. TX was a separate project. HTML5 is the same game with a different coat of paint.

Please shut down Flash immediately...or have a send off party in the middle of this month and get rid of Flash completely (you've effectively killed it anyway). And then start working on the lack featured, super slow to load, inconvenient, hard to see, dull and insipid, highly inferior HTML so it will become what you promised...equal or better than Flash in all regards.  HTML is WAY WAY FAR from that point.

So get to it devs.  Do what you promised.  Kill off Flash early so you have more time for HTML...Flash is useless now anyway with your silly and poorly conceived abusive restrictions.   You say Flash is done Dec 1, but you turn it into unusable trash before October.  You didn't exactly lie, but you do what Tanki ALWAYS does and twist and spin the truth to suit your agenda.  ...get to work spin doctors.

I'm just telling you that other games wouldn't do this.

If they truly had no choice then what they would do is wait for Flash users to migrate, and at least make it usable. Not having a no damage error and fix.tankionline.com not helping.

Instead of also restricting features like we're their experiments.

I don't know what it is with these lot, but when the wrong group of people have a good idea, this is what happens.

The next feature to be shut down in a week or two in Flash would be the shop. I bet my predictions are true.

Spoiler

giphy.gif

We will wait and see.

There is no chance they will disable the shop in Flash.  LOL...The shop will be open for bu$ine$$ even after Flash is long gone...Tanki, a possibility of losing revenue?  ahahaahaaaaaa...not in this reality ?

Please shut down Flash after a going away party in the middle of Oct and get to work on fixing all the brokeness of HTML.  Make HTML have all the features of Flash, load as quickly as Flash, make everything as visible as in Flash...just like you said you were going to do.  Early shut down should give you devs plenty of time to FIX HTML so everyone wlll be happy playing on it.

Might there be a way to have an option for a super stripped down version of HTML so people with old weak PCs could still use HTML?  .Disable color or clarity or some of the graphics like shot tracers, etc?

Thanks for destroying our game. I am playing the game since 2011 and because of your updates even if I want I can't play in HTML5 or new client.

Full of lags, keeps loading,  and when you manage to get in, the game is already at the end.

I want to play but I can't. Time to go thanks to you!

@Unleash

Players are complaining mostly because of bugs. HTML5 will be fine tuned once Flash is gone.

whatever floats ur boat to sugarcoat html5..

yes, yes.. even grass will be greener when flash is gone and then everything is PERFECT. haha

How so? i guess devs are destroying it if everyone is complaining, last time no one complains was in 2015 i think wonder why.

Everyone talks about how good it was in 2015... I bet at least the half of the players saying it was better didn't even play at that time. Players were always complaining, even before 2015, not less than now...

Anyone can play Tanki 2015 or something like that even now in an overdrives offed battle(not that hard to find) or any other format battle. They just don’t want to because of the big bonuses of MM and so don’t see it.

When I was writing to support for flash problems they told me to switch to the new game, I wanted to try it but, in terms of problems they have nothing other than flash here too often or fps or ping goes haywire and everything crashes, and as it happened on flash you often find yourself destroyed. If hit, you want to change armament by going to the garage, biblical times elapse, wasting precious time .. Yellow contours of the wagons after activating overdrive, in case of close contact, are annoying and often prevent the opponent from seeing well. Sometimes I have also noticed a delay in the release of aid such as mines. First it would have been better to deal with the various problems and then, if ever, anticipate the closure of flash

Good bye tanki, I quit it when flash is removed.

Marcus and the developers dont understand that the old feature and design (which is now in flash) the majority likes and we want a similiar design in HTML but u are making a completly new tanki but let them make the mistake of thinking wrong, I dont care.

At 1.12.2020 under 5k users will play this game, esports will be dead as well.

I dont care if their brain is small.

Thanks for the years I enjoed this game <3.

Honestly, the steam interface got ignored smh. You can't even log on to your account but instead have to make a new one. Like why sweat a transition to HTML5 issues on other platforms still exist? The HTML5 client is so meh - I can't even open the special's page of the game where you could gift other players. Flash continues to contribute to the game by supporting most of the player base. Tanki is aging. The mechanical properties of the game are excellent, the aesthetic properties are just so sad though. The developers haven't even updated the graphics in like 5 years and looks just so sad. Transitioning to HTML5 is just a waste of time. You need to patch the graphics (Tanki X looked amazing so why not import that?), fix bugs not force people to move to a worse client. Seriously.

Adding new features and content is easier in HTML5 - that's one of the main reasons for moving. In fact there already are several graphical improvements planned. Flash is holding back the creation of new maps and some graphical improvements for maps, for example. Also in the works are updated skins for all hulls and turrets.

I hope to see more HTML5 news and updates this week. HTML5 is an excellent technology but it must be improved the way players are asking for. In other words, HTML5 has to have an interface that is more user friendly, similarly to Flash. A crucial feature that I would like to have in the HTML5 version of Tanki Online is to have a search box to search for paints by name. Here is an example.

Paint-Search.png

Adding a paint search box feature would be very helpful for players. I have added the search box myself by editing this screenshot in Microsoft Paint. Tanki Online developers must realize how important this search box feature is for players. This would make it easy for players to find their preferred paints by simply typing a keyword in the search box. Those keywords would include the paint's name or the color of the paints. Since there are so many paints available in Tanki Online, players don't remember the names of all the paints, especially rare paints, so making the search box feature powerful enough to identify paints just by typing the color name of paints would make searching for paints an easy find. For example, if I were to forget the name of the paint "Crusher", I would just simply type "green" in the search box and I would get a result that would show me a list of all the green paints that I have in my garage. Paints that I do not have yet, would not be displayed.

Since challenges are bringing new paints to the continuously growing list of paints, it would be a great idea to add a search feature to find paints. The paint browser by container types could be removed because it is unnecessary because finding paints that you have when not remembering its name does not narrow down the filtering results enough. A search box would be much more convenient because it would place the paint you are searching for at the top of the list and highlight it in a different shade of color so that your eyes can spot it right away.

Little features like that is what players are asking for, for the improvement of HTML5. HTML5 is a great technology that fits in perfectly well with Tanki Online but it it missing crucial features like a search box that players would find very useful for quickly browsing for paints that players wants to wear during battles. Little features like this is the key to improving HTML5 as well as removing all the lurking bugs in HTML5 which makes it difficult and annoying for some players to use. Please add the search box in the paints section of the garage for the HTML5 and mobile version of Tanki Online. This will make paint browsing and finding so much easier and accurate.
