Hopper in the Garage

3 hours and 45 minutes remaining, the anticipation builds! We draw ever closer to the full release of Hopper as it seems that Alternavia is starting to rise out of the ashes, and get some things back on track. Will this be a revival of the fanbase inbound? Only time itself has that answer...

 

Things are looking up. This may not be much, but i can finally see a bright future for Tanki, not certain but definitely possible. Just as long as the future updates may satisfy the players, a great future is inbound...

Tanki Online absolutely has a bright future. Recently, I have seen and noticed that recent updates like Ares and Hopper seem to be released faster along with the new missions changes to daily and weekly missions. I can tell that Flash is now dying quicker than it did a few weeks ago.

The next dying component for the Flash version of Tanki Online is the shop. The shop shall be the next component to be closed down in Flash. I bet that is the next shutdown for Flash. I may be right or wrong but I bet that would be the next step to the right decision to make players migrate to HTML5 and mobile version of Tanki Online faster.

see this, this is cool. stop putting new skins that actually make the game look more modern and appealing only in the cash shop and cases. make a skin line that is a modernized version of the current Mk skins with more polygons and 3d textures, and give them too all players to replace the old Mk skins. give the option to buy the old Mk skins for 90k crystals each and add it to the legacy series. these new high polygon skins need to be default skins that someone new to the game can see and think "oh that looks cool" rather than seeing the outdated ugly 2d skins we currently have. 

of course have skin lines like xt, prime and ultra as skins you can buy for money or tankoins but a visual overhaul of the basic tanks would make it so much more fresh and appealing for old and new players alike, that doesnt cost a player to have.

It would be a good idea if Hopper could be released today in the garage with a good 50% discount to kick start purchases that players make. This would in-turn increase the number of buyers buying Hopper at half price, which would be beneficial for Hopper's buying statistics and the game's economy during the release of this hull.

I love this update so far, not because I want to get hopper, but because it has such low health. Basically free kills. Will wait to see if this changes.

Is this your highest account?

Wait until you encounter a hopper with Defender drone + high modules.  Then see how easy it is to kill.

 

(FYI... you might want to consider concentrating on 2 or at most 3 turrets from now on. Trying to upgrade that many will leave you short of crystals later on.)

I took the enemy flag into my base twice, out of which one time I got destroyed while jumping up to avoid ramp and in the other situation I managed to cap the flag without jumping.

It is really an amazing hull!

I used this combo - it, surprisingly works well with hopper.

I have to say that Hopper is really super fun to play with, the way it can drive sideways and the jump mechanic allow for incredible plays.

It is not that good for game balance ..but who cares about that, right?   Super quick and seems to be able to hit what ever target with whatever position.

Well, game balance stopped being a thing years ago. ODs and Drones are a much bigger problem then a light hull that jumps around.

I love it when Hoppers jump on to the top of buildings, they are easy kills
