Ideas for Hulls and Overdrives!

what about a hull that was built to ram others, so like bad armor, like hornet but weight of mamoth and with a fork shape on the end to trape enemy hulls. size and speed of viking.

It wouldn't look very nice if it were able to trap a mammoth hull from the side.

I think there should be a hull that changes from one form defence,offence and speed

I find the choice of hulls almost boring compared to the turrets. This is because every turret is so diverse and offers radically different sets of abilities. So instead of suggesting a new hull, I suggest an update to the existing ones. For example, next to the supplies buttons, we could include unique temporary abilities that need a long time to use again such as 50% resistance to mines for a limited time or temporary increased power or health. vote rep_up.png you agree with change in diversity and rep_down.png if you just want to add new hulls

Have a hull that is like wasp or hornet that when a special button, like "F" is pressed, turned invisible for a certain amount of time. so like there would be the health bar, the reload time bar, and the invisible energy bar, that would decrease like the reload time on the Isada, or faster to be fair. Also, another Idea, is to have jetpack hull, same energy bar concept. Just a thought.

obliteration, that is way too overpowered. Sorry to say this, but not gonna happen.

electroguy11, I wrote about the same thing 2 posts before u. I agree with the hull abilities to match with the abilities of the turrets. No jetpack though, because we aren't going super futuristic. 

 

 

My only other comment is that we need to keep in mind the feel for the game of tanki. Hulls than can climb walls and fly, i don't personally think, are the wrong answer to the spontaneity of tanki.

I know tanki said that they wouldn't add more hulls but i think there is room for 1 more hull.

I have made stats for it already (m0 stats) it should be like a light hull

Good idea, but it is same like difference between Viking and Hunter, just it's the difference between Dictator and Predator.

Did you suggest some or know that they are busy?

I'm going to right now:

Viking: Added mine resistance.

Mammoth: Decreased effect of freeze (same damage).

Dictator: Damage reduced when fired on by Ricochet.

Wasp: Increased resistance to Firebird because of high speed.

Hornet: Reduction of shaft damage.

Hunter: Plain ol' Hunter, maybe.

Titan:  Auto-balancing system when the tank is on its side.

Im thinking of a hull that can move decently fast and decent defense it is able to make its turret do 1.05x more damage but reduces impact force by 10 when m0|

increases damage by m1 and reduces your impact force by 13 |

increases damage by 1.14 when m2 and reduces impact force by 19 |

increases damage by 1.2 when m3 and reduces impact force by 24|

I think it should be an expensive hull like you can get it for 4k at corporal for m0 |

35k for m1|

121k for m2|

and 267k for m3| It has a high weight to prevent it from being flipped. When upgraded to next modification it loses weight in return for an higher buff in speed then normal. Dis advantage is that in can only be upgraded twice. It is great for rail users who want to get quick kills but it isnt a good choice for hammer and rail users who want to knock of someones aim or flip them over. I think it should be called something like lion or cheetah. It is also a good thing for freeze isida and fire who dont want to do impact damage especially isida since it cant do that much damage per tick. I know people will be huge jags and use it with fire to make fire OP but trust me we could make a new turret that could easily counter fire returning the balance of the game. Vote up if you agree i know most of you will probably disagree but im fine hopefully tanki can see my suggestio and take it into consideration

I created a sketch of a new hull called nightwing, but i have trouble uploading it to the forum.

it really is a cool hull i just need some help posting it

(UPDATE)

 

My idea would be a hull similar to a Russian T-35 from the WW2 era, it would have spots to mount three turrets and fire them, however it would be inaccurate and slower than mammoth.

 

 

In response to the question "How would it even fire three turrets at once."

 

The idea here is to have the turrets all aligned the same way, even when firing.

They would be inaccurate due to them all being that way.

 

For example;

                     I                     I                     I

(HULL Turret one.    Turret two.      Turret three.)

 

 

I hope this clears up any confusion.
