Ideas for Hulls and Overdrives!

Can we run on walls and buildings? No need to jump and do parkour tricks anymore, just use this Hull to get everywhere.  :rolleyes:

This is already planned. They want to add a hull on long "legs", which can walk over other tanks.

I have no idea what they actually planned, but I'm sure no matter what kind of concept they choose, it would have already been done in another game before.

I dont think the game needs more hulls. There is already a lot of variety. Adding in "walkers" might make it less like a tank game...if you do that you could just add infantry

2 more hulls will be more interesting, it creates variety. 2 news hulls are planned anyway: one heavy (with legs) and one light (hovering) - so you will have 3 hulls for each category. More details in the raw friday #1 and the newspaper

How would legs or hovering add to the game? What roles would they play in game?

Is there currently a tank that can do that in the game already? I don;t like Titan and Mammoth but I might like a different heavy hull with legs. 

sounds great! cant wait for the hulls to come! So i guess this is planned then?

No release date so far. The dev talk about the spider tank about a year ago and about the hoovering tank since the release of the Hunter hull. The early design of the Hunter hull had 2 big fans on top of them and had the code name "Hover".  :ph34r: 

So between what you wish to do and the implementation in the game it can take a long time.

No, no and no! Devs should balance the health of 7 already existing hulls in M1 and M2 (why the hack has M2 Wasp 1610 health and M2 Hornet only 1470???) and add some new "classical" ones, especially some with turret in front (like Mammoth). I would like 6 light hulls, 7 medium hulls and 6 heavy hulls in total.

The different values for health is because Wasp and Hornet Mastery unlock at different rank. On average they would be equivalent. It's the same for the other hulls at M1 and M2.

What you said makes no sense.

The TO servers are, ah, not the best. Wasp m4 with SB is about as fast as they can handle. Anything faster, and there would be issues.

Tanki mainly works by establishing a server in the players home, exactly why lag exists to the observer.

Redo Hunter

 

Redo hunter, with a new module which will be the hovercraft and slightly reduce its speed but give it very fast turning speed

Not a big fan of Hunter but there was a time I used only that hull and nothing else in Island 3 vs 3 pro battle, everything disabled against Russian players who used to come and play the same exact map and format every evening, it was fun.

I was thinking of a blue neon coming from down the hull as it covers 10 centimeter above the ground and being cut in half from what it now and added a rounded plain surface on the down
