Ideas for Hulls and Overdrives!

I actually remember, when the ODs were newly released, some Viking guys activating their OD after I planted a bomb near them. They thought that they could shoot it down. :lol:

Did it work?

I honestly thought Hunter's overdrive was too good to be buffed. :lol:

 

Perfect for 1v1 combat, and if used right could potentially render 3/4 teammates immobile and turn the tide in an assault or rugby battle, I know that because I've seen it a lot.

It's an interesting idea but it shouldn't be added to Dictator, instead it should be for the new Hull.

 

Why do you people want to make ODs even more powerful? ODs should be weakened to the level of Dictator's basic OD of activating supplies and nothing more.

Apparently Ares (the future new hull) already has an OD planned, all I know is that something will shoot out of that hole it has in the front which might go through props.

 

Well, everyone's been complaining about dictators lack of a personal buff with OD. So this idea came out.

no way. hunter is too powerful already...

Many would agree with you if you were only referring to the stats alone, including me. If you were referring to its OD, then what about it makes it too powerful?

Oh and if the hunter is currently frozen or burnt, they can activate OD and the effects will immediately be gone.

I believe you that you probably thought of this on your own-but I remembered another topic which I brought up-the same thing was suggested just for the Dictator-Making Dictator a Real Dictator .

 

This also shows how the I&S is not so well run (although it really is a demanding job)-since the same idea has one tagged merge with hulls-and the other one was tagged Valid.  Isn't this absurd that there is no reason what is tagged Valid and what is tagged Merged?

Though the developers aren't currently accepting hull and turret ideas, as they have plenty of their own, feel free to share yours! The more details you have, the better. Images? Sketches? Comparisons? Share it all!

 

Also keep in mind that developers do not plan to add new hulls in the near future. Anything faster than Wasp or more armored than Mammoth will not fit the game balance and all the gaps in between have been filled by other hulls.

 

I think that one of the hulls should get a big smoke bomb as its overdrive

Hi, i wanted to post this: the mammoth overdrive during x20 golds. I always catched 200+ golds during those days and had a lot of fun, but since the overdrive is here ( i like the overdrive in normal battles so that shouldnt be changed )  but this celebration i catched 3 golds en kept salty about the mammoths. So my idea is ( just a suggestion ) to disable the overdrive of mammoth during these days. so NOT remove the whole overdrive cuz i like it but disable during those days would make the game great again ;) also many youtubers havent even played this birthday celebration because they said they were done with the mammoths. thanks :)

This thread isn't very active and I am new to the forum. I do not have an idea as to where to put this idea so I will put it in the hulls section as it is the closest to overdrives. I think mammoth overdrive shouldn't have the ability to kill people who touch it. I think it is overpowered at the moment and takes the skill and fun out of catching gold boxes. Without the killing ability people will still not be able to kill it. I think you should also extend the time of the overdrive to which you personally think is best to make it fair.

They should remove the bonus SB   OR   remove the killing field and make it a bit longer duration.

I was scrolling down in tanki online paint page and saw a "Tankos" paint and short description about it.

 

 

"Great titan from Tanki Online (not to be confused with the hull!). It would be great if this paint gave an overdrive “Click” that kills everyone on the map. But the paint does not give abilities."

 

How about givin a titan hull "snap" OD, which could kill all enemy vehicles. Sounds crazy and its kinda joke. But idea worth writing down :]

a floating tank that can traverse any terain, rocky, rough, smooth, or full of tanks, this tank is able to get past alot of obsticals, but may need some nerfing . i know you guys can nerf it, your the game devs. also debating of if the turret should be on the bottom or the top.. tweak it on how you see fit and have fun

This is rather different type of hull - Knife

 

The hull has two skewed tracks looking like the juggernaut but smaller and ofcourse different and with a new mechanic - Raising the hull and allowing to shoot highter and lower the body to move into smaller places

 

The mode can be switched by the button choosen by the player in settings  (You get the screen to choose your key to switch the hull once you buy your copy of Knife

Balance Changes for Overdrives:

 

Hornet: Overdrive allows player to see whether or not enemies have Overdrive ready. This ability will not spread to teammates.

 

Hunter: Overdrive takes 0.5 seconds to charge up. The stunning effect lasts only 2.5 seconds, but enemies will be forced to reload when the stun effect ends.

 

Wasp: The bomb should be color coded; blue if the player is on the blue team, and red if they are on the red team. Green for DM and      JGR.

 

Dictator: Upon activating Overdrive, the player will be immune to the effects of Hunter and Hornet's overdrives for 5 seconds.
