Ideas for Hulls and Overdrives!

Hm. Seeing as we still have only 2 lights and 2 heavies, I think a good idea for both classes would be these.

 

Light hull: Scout

M4 modification stats

Armor: 1750

Top Speed: 15

All other stats are free to be changed by Devs.

Hull's use: Designed as the fastest and most modern modification of any light tank in the game, the Scout is to be used ONLY for incredibly fast blitzs and pushes through enemy lines. Most suited for CP and CTF, the hull's HP is incredibly low, but the top speed makes up for it. The weight will also like be the lightest in game, making it suitable for parkour, especially OMP.

 

Heavy Hull: Cruiser

M4 Stats

Armor: 3750

Top speed: 7.5

Hull's Use: The lightest armored heavy hull but all the fastest, reaching a blistering 7.5 top speed. This makes it good for aggressive defense or midfielding, and also makes it a prime sniper hull, as the armor and speed allow for safe maneuvers across open maps or flat ground.

It would also need to be tiny.  So that it can sneak inbetween tanks and in and out of enemy territory quickly.  Also it needs to be tiny so it's harder to hit with turrets, otherwise almost anything 1 or 1.5 shots it.  Maybe like smart car or motorcycle size.

the Maybe a turret that shoots a laser beam and the laser does increasing damage over, time and the colour of the laser is the same as your team like flash also the turret turns as quick a railgun and the damage is 25 - 1500.  It might be recommended for the highways map.

How about a tank, while hardly any armor and the speed of a hunter, but can cloak for short periods of time. You can`t shoot while cloaked, and the cloak last only for a short while, But renders the user invisible to anyone but those with the hull.

Hello guys!

The hull's Name:SPACE ROVER,

 

Description: 

This hull has it's own classification, it's neither light-medium-or heavyweight, but it's kinda in the middle, I would classify it as a Light-Heavyweight hull, 

 

1).SPEED; The SPACE ROVER'S speed is kind of...well Titan, Dictator'ish or to be clear, its in the middle, That Means it Will neither be too slow, nor will it be too fast, Making it good for Medium to small maps but it will not be as efficient in Bigger Maps, Even though Its still better than a mammoth./Max Speed M0=6.30/Max speed M3=7.70-7.80

 

2).PROTECTION; the Protection of the hull is in the middle too(in other words medium-Heavy, or Light Heavy weight) That means it's protection will be around 1700, Making it good for Any game mod as it will last longer than other Medium Hulls, But this hull is especially good at DM's and TDM's /Protection M0=1700/Protection M3= 2847

 

3).TURNING SPEED; the hulls turning speed will be around 70.0. Meaning that it will ensure some speed. but it will also ensure that it won't be very fast, This will make it an Easy Target for Freezes, so you better watch your back./Turning Speed M0=70.0/Turning speed M3=105.0-120.0

 

4).WEIGHT; This Hulls weight almost topples them all (except mammoth), That Means It will be Extremely hard to knock this hulls aim off, But it also means it will be twice as hard getting it airborn, However combining this Hulls weight and it's Moderate Height can Make it good for goldbox hunter's who aren't in a hurry. (NOTE: this hull will move almost like a normal tank in space mode, that means no parkour but it also means you can at least control yourself)/Weight M0=2100/Weight M3=3400)

 

5).POWER; The hulls Power is Very High although not high enough As Dictator And Mammoth, but It can still Push A Viking over a ledge, And can move a wasp-hornet out of its way/Power M0=950/ Power M3=1300

 

6).Others; the unique feature about this Hull is that it has 4 Caterpillars instead of Just Two, It Doesn't change much but it still makes the tank look a little good :P

Got a awesome idea for a strong tank. I introduce you to the "Crab".

 

This tank will be different, it will be a mounting tank. It will be shaped like a pyramid with the top cut off for the gun, but it can't move when in attack position. The player would push 6 (or C, your decision) and this put the tank into moving position. In moving position, it's walls will raise covering the turret, and 4-6 legs (depends on the level of hull) will pop out. The tank can then walk about slowly. When in moving mode, your can steer your tank with turret controls. arrows will be forward, backward, and sideways. Z and X will be rotation. C will activate mount mode, where I will show a image of where your tank will mount itself if you were to press space. The tank can mount on both walls and ground. When the player presses space, the tank will walk onto the wall/space that you desire. It will then lower it's walls back down letting the turret shoot again. If the tank is on a wall, and the player can only shoot the ground/sky/sides, and can't aim forward ahead of him, the player could press "C" which will rotate the gun 90 degrees.  If this is added, I recommend not playing with mangum for you can't move in attack mode. This tank will be slower than the mammoth but more health than the titan. Please add this.

What if there was a hull that could deflect blasts?

 

This hull would:

- Deflect shots from

     - Twins

     - Ricochet

- Take reduced damage from

     - Thunder

     - Magnum

     - Smoky

- React normally to

     - Freeze

     - Firebird

     - Railgun

- But heal less from Isida

- Have less health than a wasp

- Slow speed

 

I think that this hull would really change the gameplay of tanki

Hello everyone !

 

I had some ideas if you were thinking of designing a new hull;

A hull called ' Flash ', it could be solid looking, with a plow at the front of it. With the plow its could have the ability to flip or turn other players over by charging at them. The reason it would be called ' Flash ' is because it would have lights on the front and side of the hull, the lights will be red when the player is on the red team and blue for when on the blue team, and maybe green when in a single player death match.

I think that would be bad, a hull is your hull, not your weapon. If you want this I don't think you should be able to have a weapon.

Though the developers aren't currently accepting hull and turret ideas, as they have plenty of their own, feel free to share yours! The more details you have, the better. Images? Sketches? Comparisons? Share it all!

 

Also keep in mind that developers do not plan to add new hulls in the near future. Anything faster than Wasp or more armored than Mammoth will not fit the game balance and all the gaps in between have been filled by other hulls.

 

ok i have a idea for a turret... here it goes hope no one will copy..i name my turret x-bow.it will have the recoil of rail ,little more damage than railgun and more reload time.it will look like a real xbow.turreting will be available.and really expensive gun

ok for the hull my idea is a hull called devestator. its speed will be as the speed of viking and the armour of hornet a little more than hornet name can be changed.the hull will look like a tall almost like dictator but  a little more shorter

I know that the idea of Hull alterations was delcined many times, because there are too many possiblities, and not everybody will find what they are looking for. Instead, to make hulls more interesting, they are each getting different Overdrives. My idea is to allow players to change their hull stats. There would be three bars, each like the micro-upgrade bar. One for speed, turning speed and lateral acceleration, one for armour and one for weight and power. These would all start at 5/10. At first, you would be unable to upgrade any stats, even by paying crystals.

 

First, you would need to downgrade something. Minimum would be 0/10 for any stat. To downgrade, you would click a button saying "-2.5" on the left of each bar. You would then have one point to distribute (or two if you had downgraded it twice, and so on). You could upgrade one stat once per point by clicking the "+2.5" button on the right. Each stat could be 0/10 at least, and 10/10 at most. This would allow players to get exactly the hull they want. For this system to be implemented, all hulls within each class would need the exact same stats, not just HP. And also, the shaft's damage at M0 may need to be upgraded to 1600 to stop people upgrading their medium hulls' armour once just to not be one-shotted by shaft.

Lets start. Hulls that accelerate to speed 7 MetersPerSescond and more make slipstream behind them and any tank that goes behind it gets extra speed.

  • 7 - 8 MPS = 10 % - 13 % boost in maximum speed
  • 8 - 9 MPS = 13 % - 20 % boost in maximum speed
  • 9 - 10 MPS = 20 % - 30 % boost in maximum speed
  • 10 + MPS = 30 % and up to 35 % boost in maximum speed

NOTE: Slipstream exra speed adds to hull`s main speed and then Nitro supplie adds 40% to overall hull speed

  • Upside

- It can be used tacticly in CTF mode as 2 players could run away faster if they switch the leading position

- Realisticly some of the hulls can go really fast but if they go behind each other they should get more speed like in real life racing ( dont get me wrong, not trying to make tanki a racing game :P )

- Bigger hulls that go faster than 7 MPS make wider slipstream, more tanks can go to it!

  • Downside

- Ermmm, i dont see other problem than making these parameters and visual effects, which could actually take some time...
