5 Reasons to pick HTML5

As Flash will be closed on 31st December 2020 as a E.O.L. so what should you start preferring? HTML5 is much more better compared to Flash.

Why HTML5?

Though most don't prefer it because of missing things. (developers are working on it)

1. It has more better FPS
2. Loads quicker
3. Has a beautiful interface
4. Lesser lags
5. No bugs (includes skybox bugs)

Though, flash is has opposite of these features. It has a more engaging interface, which HTML5 also have.

I prefer flash... html  good too but does have a few drawbacks for me (

5 Reasons to pick FLASH

    1. it has a complexed design (suitable for war games)

    2. the game's history and all old gold days were in FLASH

    3. UI is much more detailed than HTML5 (like Crystals)

    4. you can access your missions and challenges while in the battle (very important)

    5. no one can enforce me to switch to HTML5.

No the developers aren't working on it, they didn't decide to make you able to access like the mission in the battle or seeing your crystals, they trying to make the game pure for new players and children, slapping the real players on their face.

Flash will be disabled in the very near future anyway, so you may as well switch to HTML5 because you'll have no choice soon

thats impossible, they have provided a parmenenance here. Therefore, it will not return, plus HTML5 is not going to close because it's a version (latest) of HTML, thus, code languages are NOT removed.

Every version sucks balls rn cuz I can't even get into the Flash version, and the HTML version takes to long to load.

After flash goes, not sure if I'm going to play anymore, because drones and ODs mixed with the choppiness/weird motion (?) (not really sure how to explain it) of HTML makes it not enjoyable for me.

The whole game sucks right now not just because of that. But also because the devs are:

 

1) focusing more on gimmicky updates and less on actual improvements.

2) taking away the freedoms that we once had in the game.

3) showing favoritism.

All in all, flash is not a  choice. It will be discontinued, and tanki can't do anything about it.

I agree with this. A game does not grow if they don't do something different once in a while. In my honest opinion, I think HTML5 is the best thing that the developers could have done. It looks so much more sleek and modern. Now do I wish they would implement more things into HTML? For sure, but they just started on this project, so we have to be patient and see what they bring to the table.

1: how do you came with this, is this a personal diligence or intelligence?... The flash is more detailed and the UI is more complexed, but in HTML5 it's just a neat design without that much colors and details

2: No, because the old days were gold, the game was popular, 11 years in Flash, I remember the clans wars and the videos the game was very popular... but now no one knows it... btw, I assume the game will not restore its gold days, so yanking of identity and converting into a new identity isn't a good thing

Yes, they are. It takes time but eventually most of the features from Flash will be added to HTML5.

To be honest, No they aren't working in these features...

Like access crystals and missions and Shop etc... in the middle of the game, they didn't work in it also didn't decide to add it in near future

Why? they try to make it more appealing for children also to be more a mobile game... they try to simulate games like PUBG

I think anyone who played pubg or something accustomed with these things we missed in HTML5, so any new player will not face any problem with these... but no as we used to play Tanki with these features it's like a slap in our face with this disgusting care of new players neglecting out the old ones

HTML5 have many advantages over Flash but why players still prefer Flash?

1. More handy interface - Flash interface is way better, you can see everything at once - Chat, be in garage, check missions, friends, shop, battles list. And HTML? You have to go back to lobby again, again and again.

2. Better camera movement - It's more stable on Flash.

3. Better physics - Parkour is impossible on HTML5 version, so if developers won't do anything about that - bye-bye parkour.

4. It works on old, very outdated Computers. - What can't be said about HTML5.

I know Flash is outdated, but why can't developers make HTML5 be as good or even better than Flash? They've been working on the Flash version for 10 years and now they just throw it in the trash? Couldn't they copy the interface from Flash and make it more modern while keeping it's handiness?

It's unpossible to do that. Flash and HTML require differnet coding, they just canvt copy the code. Because of that, since they have to rewrite most of the code, devs decided to create a modern interface, to make the game more freash. I also thinks that some elements of the flash interface is better than the HTML one (such like beung able to see chat in main lobby, or you don't have to load a new paga agin when you visit a PRO battle, etc.), but flash interface is outdated a bit, it's time to change it.
